After reflecting a little on what Nighthill, Fizker and the returning heroes have revealed and what Nixi is starting to propose, Khessa tries to summarize (aloud, so that everyone might be able to comment, correct or discuss freely): “So what we know so far is that the cult is primarily interested in treasure. Plus, they have dragon eggs. These two tings may or may not be connected... but they both certainly pose a threat!"
"Dragon eggs" speculates the blonde arcane warrior "could be chromatic dragons eggs, kept to breed evil dragons for use in the distant future. Or they could be metallic dragons eggs, held by the cult as hostages to prevent metallic dragons to interfere".
"The treasure" goes on to consider the tall adventurer "could be used to finance some initiative of the Cult. Maybe a war... maybe a ritual that has expensive components (and obviously effects that none of us would like)... maybe the aid of chromatic dragons..."
"Be that as it may, it is certain that both of these things (eggs and treasure) must absolutely not remain in the hands of the Cult" Khessa instinctively clenches her fists, testifying to how much she firmly believes in what she is saying. "In this I agree with Nixi, I think we should try to take them away from the Cult (or, failing that, to destroy them), especially since we know that both these things are still in the camp! Now that we can count on a few more spells, maybe it will be possible to do things that we couldn't have done before. Anyway, if Leosin wants to discuss whit us, maybe he can tell us even more".
"So" the blue eyed woman comes to the conclusion "I'd say to let Leosin recover, then meet him as he asked and decide together an action plan".
During her downtime, Khessa will continue in part to try to help the Greenest common folk and soldiers in the reconstruction works, in part to study with Nixi, enthusiastically taking notes on the theoretical notions that she, self-taught, has always lacked.
(OOC: This will have no particular in-game effect, as Khessa does not have the money to copy spells from Nixi right now. If Nixi can copy spells from Khessa, however, the blonde arcane warrior eagerly allows it, flattered that the 'real' wizard can be interested in something Khessa - who still deems herself a 'lesser' wizard - knows. Khessa has the following spells in the spellbook: Absorb Elements, Burning Hands, Detect Magic, Disguise Self, Feather Fall, Shield)
Zale, scratches the back of her head and laughs, "Don't worry yerself, I just don't be used to such interactions. I'm more accustomed to bein' round ruffians than you civil folk. We show our friendship a bit differently."
"I'm sure they be chromatic dragon eggs. We heard 'em talkin about hatching them. I doubt they'd be doin that if they were metallic."
"Eye, It likely is to keep that blue devil satisfied on top of supplyin them with more weapons."
"We tried to do that when we rescued the prisoners. I'd honestly like to steal them from the cult. They have dragons, it wouldn't hurt to have a few on our side even if they be chromatic, but if destroyin them be the only way to deal with them then so be it. We failed at dealing with the eggs and retrieving loot. I honestly don't have a clue where they are keeping it all. We just needed to get out of there since we started raising a ruckus. We also didn't think it would be the greatest idea to come into contact with the half-dragons. I don't think we'd a been strong enough to deal with them just yet."
"I agree, we should let him recover, then try to come up with a plan after talkin to 'im."
((The first day, you can't really do anything bc you want take that long rest. The next day you can do what you want. Leosin hasn't recoverd yet. Eric spends his time at the forge (with that roll you invest 15 gp of effort). Khessa befriends a boy during the time she helps out in town. What's the rest doing?))
Calvin pockets the gold that Governor Nighthill pays them before listening to the details of the Cult of Dragon's operations.
When he gets a chance, Calvin approaches Khessa quietly, "It's not true what you said before; I didn't fight the dragon. I was struck with awe and was too scared to move. It was the others that fought against the dragon."
In his down time, Calvin is going to go find whatever is considered the library in Greenest, if there such a thing.

...When he gets a chance, Calvin approaches Khessa quietly, "It's not true what you said before; I didn't fight the dragon. I was struck with awe and was too scared to move. It was the others that fought against the dragon."...
"Oh, so you got scared? That doesn't impress me much!" smiles Khessa, patting him in the shoulder "In spite of that, you stood your ground. You have been with them that night. You were with them during the mission at the Cult's camp. You are always been at heroes' side, sharing their own challenges and dangers. A hero can get scared. A hero is not allmighty. A hero does what he can. But that's the difference: the others don't do even that! So" she winks "you are still a hero to me".
"The library? I just spent last night there! I can show you if you like," says Nixi enthusiastically.
During downtime, Nixi will spend time researching all she can about the Cult of the dragon, dragon eggs, half-dragons and kobolds at the library. She will also visit with the healers, alchemists and herbalists, helping to tend the wounded.
Once everyone is finished talking, Zale finds an Inn where she can sleep for the night. When she meets up with the group the next morning, she looks a bit troubled.
occ: If any of you guys needs a new piece of equipment and is not in hurry, Eric is more than willing to craft it for you. If is worth less than 100gp he can use his channel divinity to make it out of raw material or from another item

Unfortunately Greenest is no Candlekeep. You learn a few thigns though:
The new leader of the cult is a Calishite named Severin Silrajin
The Cult of the Dragon has an active recruiting process, accepting initiates from a young age. An initiate trains for months or years before gaining any rank within the organization, and many trainees don’t survive the tests.
A common Kobold saying: "The dragon scale toughens our skin. The dragon bone adorns our skull. The dragon heart flames our sorcery. We are the dragon, and for the dragon we live. Long live the dragon."
Once everyone is finished talking, Zale finds an Inn where she can sleep for the night. When she meets up with the group the next morning, she looks a bit troubled.
The town's inn is happy to accommodate you for free. The food and rooms are modest, but you've seen worse.
After his experience in captivity, Leosin is finally recovered (so 2 days after you get back). When he’s healthy again, he intends to travel north to Elturel to convey what he’s learned to Ontharr Frume, a paladin of Torm who shares his concern over the Cult of the Dragon’s recent surge in activity. He has a favor to ask of you when he finds you together:
After all you’ve done already for me personally and for the people of Greenest, I hate to ask anything more from you. But the need is great, and I dare to hope that you can aid me one time more. I need you to return to the cultists’ camp. You know your way around it now. If the cultists are preparing to conduct another raid, or a large body of them marches away, or if anything substantial is carried into or out of that cave, I need to know. If you have a chance to get into the camp and look around again, that would be the ideal way to spot anything that's changed.
I don’t recommend letting yourselves get captured, he adds with a wry smile.
Eric nods to Leosin worlds "Whatever it takes to break the cult. may the fire bless us and scorch them" then he looks back to his companions "find the camp again should be an easy task, but I don't think we can simply enter to the front door this time, they may recognize us raising some suspicious"
"I know a spell that can alter the way the caster looks like!" exclaims Khessa "I and Nixi can make ourselves look like cultists and enter... then try to let enter all of you at nigjt, either by opening the door, or by tossing a rope to climb in..."
She thinks of an alternative also: "Or if there is an high point that we can reach near the camp, I also know a spell to gently fall down. If we do it at night, we should not be spotted".
Following a fruitless search, Kriv approaches Regmar. “Hello, Quartermaster. It seems my friends and I will be continuing our fight with this cult. I was hoping you would be willing to sell me some scale mail or a chain shirt.”

Does Eric's offer extend to the newcomers (like Khessa, for example...) too?
(Just to know; probably she does not need anything)
