The Kobolds first take you back to the Kobold Baracks. Thin mattresses of straw covered with badly cured furs form small beds that are haphazardly positioned around the chamber. Rats and small lizards scurry through the food scraps and moldy wine skins littering the floor. The (other) Kobolds are no longer there. A search of the room turns up 38 gp, 152 sp, and 704 cp sorted into eighty-eight stacks of exactly eight copper coins each. Dozens of dragon-themed talismans and amulets are carved from bone, soapstone, wood, and ivory. The workmanship on most of them is terrible, but four have a unique, if savage, artistic flair.
Moving on past the Drake Nursery you guys reach the end of the Stirge Lair. The Kobolds explain that they use the NE incusion as a trash dump. They warn you not to go in there, because nobody has ever returned. They guide you to the stairs on the east side and take the broken spear with them. At the base of these steeply descending steps, a curtain hangs across the passage. It is made from hundreds of heavy leather strips, each about the width of a human hand. The strips are fixed to the ceiling and are long enough to drag on the floor. The curtain extends from wall to wall. The leather comes from a variety of local animals and is badly cured. The curtain is several layers thick with no gaps, so you can’t see through it at all. They use the spear to sweep the leather strips to the left side of the corridor and wedge the end of the spear shaft into an angled socket in the floor just inside. (The curtain was trapped) The smell of old blood assaults your nose. The floor is covered with dried puddles of it. Four floor-to-ceiling columns are spaced across the chamber, and chains have been strung between them like clothesline. Animal carcasses hang on hooks from the chains. You see gutted and skinned antelope, deer, goats, what might be big cats, and even a few small bears. Some of this meat has been here for a while if the smell is a reliable indicator. There is nothing of value, but the Roper might like it.
With the whole tour done, the Kobolds bring you back safely to the room with Roper.
Khessa delivers the carcasses found to the Roper: "Hey, Mr Long Arms! We haven't found any other corpses, unfortunately, but at least we've got this food... if you like it, it's all yours!"
Then he congratulates everyone, "Well guys, we've turned this place inside out... I guess we haven't left any threats... we have nothing else to do here. Are we going back to Greenest? So we bring them the good news that they should be able to live serene and free now on... and that we have also found them a formidable guardian" she pats Mr Long Arms friendly on the back (or hunk?) "and a prisoner who will surely want to speak and cooperate!" he indicates with the toe of his boot the unconscious Mr Sponge "Once in Greenest, we may also divide the loot, ask for an audience with King Eek to allow him to admit the new kobolds into his circle... and take care of the eggs, entrusting them to someone who can have them hatch and educate the new dragons according to sound and good principles. Is that right? Shall we go?"
Nixi remains silent, a worried expression on her face. She is troubled by the plan. Chromatic dragons being 'educated' to become good? Is such a thing possible? What if we're wrong, and we simply unleash more ruthlessly evil destruction on the world? Oh, we need someone smarter than I to untangle this mess...
(Um, I don't think Nixi actually said that out loud.)
Zale does not take interest in any of the Kobold carvings, but she does make sure all of the coin is collected. "That be a good sounding plan to me." The dragonborn replies to Khessa.
(So the eggs are 120lbs? How big are they? Would at least one fit in a backpack?)
OCC: 120lbs is approximately 60Kg right? (that kinda stuffs drives me crazy all the time lol) I guess Kriv can handle one easily and one of us the other, but I don't know if we are able to carry mr. Sponge in case he wasn't able to walk by his one....
Kriv lifts one of the eggs, testing it’s weight. Looking to Eric, “You’re handy. Can you make a sled to fit the eggs? We used them to help get heavy loads on the ships. Might make taking the eggs easier.”
"Oh, that's a great Idea!" Eric laugh "It would take just an our and some piece of metal and wood" then Eric collects some raw materials such as weapons from fallen cultists and Kobolds, spears and broken furnitures, whistling around quite cheerfully. He then plows the ground in a circle fashion with four rocks at its extremities, resembling pillars, over which he inscribes dwarfish runes. Finally he opens his hands toward the materials he has collected and starts long dwarfish pray. After a minute of praying, the raw material flushes with fire light and coalesce together. The last sparks reveal a small chariot, made of wood with metal gaskets.
DM: Eric has used his channel divinity to perform artisan blessing. It takes one hour...
occ: I assume it will be easy to fin raw material all around. all is needed is some piece of iron and wood.
Khessa proves to be very interested in the ritual undertaken by Eric and does not miss a move or a syllable, noting everything faithfully in her spellbook. The blonde arcane warrior is aware that she probably won't be able to reuse that procedure as it is... but, convinced that there is an underlying unity at the base of arcane and divine magic (or of any other type), she confides that some details may inspire (and be useful to) her in the course of her continuous deepening of her arcane studies.
(Um, I don't think Nixi actually said that out loud.)

Easy enough. While you're doing that you all notice the bats returning to the cave.
(Oh lol well, I was close. Also, is it dark out now? What time is it?"
"All right, let's be goin now." Zale says as she helps load the eggs into the cart (Despite being a rouge, Zale is pretty strong) then she moves to help push or pull it. "I'd like to get back to Greenest as soon as possible."
Khessa, if needed, can help push the cart (or take over when the pusher is tired).
Otherwise, she tries to stay alert... though she can't help but think how much she wants to copy some of Nixi's spells once she gets back to Greenest! She hopes that her share of loot will be enough to cover the cost of the materials needed to copy at least some spells...
During eventual stops, she talks about magic with Nixi and about the Underdark with Mr Long Arms.

"Indeed" the dwarf claps his hands joyfully

Found a converter, you are right, 120lbs = 54,431Kg
Oh, well, Mr Long Arms can carry Mr Sponge, I'd say, if we can not wake him up. I've got the impression our Roper employee is pretty strong.

Whilst Eric works away, Calvin takes the opportunity to sit down and rest. He takes this time to commune with the forces of nature around them.
