This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing the horde of skeletons, Calvin decides that this is the perfect opportunity to test his new crocodile form in combat. He calls on the energy around him and pulls it into his body to transform.
He then moves up to one of the skeletons and bites the skeleton's femur.
(Attack: 20 Damage: 7 piercing damage, if it hit, the skeleton is grappled.)

Zale draws her rapier and grins. Finally some action. And a chance to prove that her friends and herself are superior adventurers compared to those fleeing cowards. Taking a deep breath, electricity dances around her throat as she prepares to blast the oncoming horde with lightning.
Zeminny will thank the boss for the work and the silver and will hang out with one of the wagons with Kriv.
" that's pretty nice deal right there, got some coin and disnt have to do anything but flex my muscles and look awesome...I guess we just hang out with the caravan and look important or find sumthin useful to do"
Eric moves close to Khessa, then murmurs a dwarfish prayer. "Stay behind me, May Moradin being our shield!" he yells in a common language. his holy symbol glitters with dim light and his eyes shine like the firelight erupting from an open forge. He uses his Channel Divinity to Turn Undead:
Each undead that can see or hear you within 30 feet of you must make a WIS saving throw (DC 14). If the creature fails its saving throw, it is turned for 1 minute or until it takes any damage. A turned creature must spend its turns trying to move as far away from you as it can, and it can’t willingly move to a space within 30 feet of you. It also can’t take reactions. For its action, it can use only the Dash action or try to escape from an effect that prevents it from moving. If there’s nowhere to move, the creature can use the Dodge action.

A little disappointed that most of the skeletons have endured her magical fire with barely a few burns, Khessa is happy to see Eric unleash his sacred powers...
"Awesome Eric! Way to go..."gasps the blonde arcane warrior.
'I just hope these walking bonebags are as impressed as I am! I wonder who unleashed them and if it could be possible to somehow push most of them against the Cult, to weaken their forces...' the tall adventuress thinks, while keeping her maul ready, just in case some opponents aren't impressed enough and come within range.

Unfortunately your attack misses, but you do ensure that the skeletons focus less on the vulnerable persons around you.

Edhelri Lewel runs up to you: Do something! You're hired again! Your friend too! 6, no 7 silver per day! Just do something!

And with that most skeletons in your vicinity flee. It's actually a funny sight seeing 11 skeletons flee for their "lives".
Kriv charges the nearest skeleton and takes a swing with his maul.
Attack: 14 Damage: 14 (rolled in game log)
With a single hit you completely destroy the skeleton. Edhelri Lewel seems impressed.
The cowering group of new adventuerers hides behind the other guards and your group: Please, we're just a troop of actors trying to pay our way to the next town! It seems that they were gambling that no danger would arise that needs them to step up and fight. However it becomes painfully obvious that not one warrior or wizard is among them; they are 5 human commoners with charisma to burn and shiny stage props for weapons and armor.

Whoops, I think I posted without being on the most current page. Are there still skeletons to attack? If so, Nixi will cast a fire bolt at the nearest.
If all the skeletons has been turned away Eric exclaims "We cannot dwell in this place anymore, I can keep them at bay for now, but my power is limited. We should go, and cannot stop until we are out of this cursed land"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zeminny Will protect his old/new boss from any skeletons that have not been turned. He will draw his trusty short swords and hack away at the nearest bone villain
“8 silver a day seems a good rate for fighting dead fellas, wouldn’t you agree Mr Lewel?” Zeminny will say, as he dashingly cuts at the skeleton while wearing his crazy wizard hat
Nixi misses, but Zeminny destroys another skeleton. Some other guards must have made this trip several times before and manage to take out a good number of skeletons. It is Eric who manages to decimate the skeleton's numbers. Zeminny and Kriv also leave an excellent impression.
Still, the merchants heed Eric words and the caravan takes off with increasing speed. The skeletons do not give chase, their numbers decimated. When they think it's save the merchants (led by Edhelri Lewel) round up the fake "adventurers". Well? What do we do with them? I say send them back! Lewel says as she looks in the direction of Kriv and Zeminny, like she's asking permission.
"Well done!"Khessa pats Eric on the shoulder, in the meantime "You really did a number on them! And thank you for running so promptly at my side... I see I have good reasons to feel safer when you are around!" she smiles, before coming back to protect her employer.
Here the rolls:
If skeletons are coming in Urnpoleshurst's direction also:
Damage of Burning Hands (15' cone, no idea how many skeletons are affected - for all of them, DC 13 DEX save halves): 5 (fire)
else, if skeletons are focusing on Edhelri's wagon only - or anyway if Urnpoleshurst is not in danger:
Damage of Magic Missile to the closest of the attackers: 13 (force)
(OOC: Lol! 5 with 3d6?! I really hope it is option 2... 😉)
Sorry... it's a whole horde attacking along the entire length of the caravan from the west. You manage to slightly damage 4 of them.

So, about 4 skeletons are slightly injured.

After destroying the skeleton, Zeminny will swipe its skull, and put it in his bag..he has a funny idea on how to use it.
