Khessa has no problem making her way down with her Feather Fall. But where to go? The main gate (also known as the Caravan Gate) is right in front of the inn, but it seems to be closed for the night. The walled settlement has 2 more gates. The Farmers Gate to the north and the River Gate to the south.
"Just be careful, and send Anator to warn us in case you find yourself in trouble" Eric pauses touches her blond hair "his might be of some help" doing so Eric casts Cat's Graceon her (this might make her sparing the feather fall spell).

It lasts for an hour...
(OOC: Khessa really loves you, you know that, Eric? Thank you for the spell.
@DM: So, if the window is less than 20' from the ground, Khessa spares her spell slot. All the rest should be ok as already posted.)
Khessa would like to purr, when she feels for the umpteenth time pervaded by Eric's sacred power... she feels so feline now!
"Of course I'll be careful..." she assures "I know you're waiting for me!"
Then the blonde arcane warrior leaps nimbly out of the window (she had already opened it, as she was still planning to slow down the fall with the magic) and enjoys the adrenaline-pumping sensation of the jump, landing agile and silent on her long legs enhanced by magic.
'I wonder if that's what a jumping cat feels?' the tall adventuress thinks for a moment, still intoxicated by the sensation so new to her – but she quickly brings her attention back to her main task: disposing of the wannabe killer's corpse.
Yep, that would save you your spell slot. Make a Perception or Investigation checks (your choice) for you and Anator.
OK...
Khessa's Investigation: 11
Anator's Perception (keep in mind he has blindsight in a given range): 18
Anator informs you in time that all the gates are closed for the night. However, he did notice that a guard let someone out at the Farmers Gate. Not by opening the gate, but by opening a small door in the gate.
Khessa doesn't see any obvious places to climb the walls. She does notices large cisterns. Must rain a lot here.

Khessa doesn't see any obvious places to climb the walls. She does notices large cisterns. Must rain a lot here.
Khessa mentally thanks Anator for the precious information and quickly ponders: 'A guard let someone out at the Farmers Gate, not by opening the gate, but by opening a small door in the gate... Perhaps I could have gone out, invisible, together with this 'someone', but I certainly can't open it... Even if it weren't locked, the guards might get a little suspicious if they notice a door that opens by itself. While these cisterns…'
The blonde arcane warrior turns her attention to the cisterns. To hide the body in there, would you have to climb to the top of a cistern? And is there a ladder or obvious way to do this? Or should she climb? Is it a feasible climb? Or very difficult?
Most cisterns are just big holes in the ground. The one near the streets/houses have a cover (it's heavy but Khessa can lift them). The big holes (those further east) are 3-4 feet wide. It's a 10-12 feet drop (you think, there's water at the botttom). You can also climb down (if you're not carrying a corpse), there are plenty of handles.
(OOC: Oh, so I was imagining them upside down... Structures that go upwards... Instead they are underground cisterns, with the hole at ground level. Perfect!)
Khessa then weights the pockets of the corpse with stones and moves one of the heavy covers - just enough to be able to push the corpse down.
The blonde arcane warrior listens to hear the splash of her body in the water (since the cover has only been moved a little, from afar others - even if not asleep - shouldn't hear practically nothing). After hearing the splash, she closes the cover.
She then returns to Eric's room as per plan (she arrives under the window, sends Anator to get Eric's attention, who drops a rope and she climbs up).
Looking at your handiwork you'll notice that the corpse is lying in a in a mangled position in a layer of water of a 1-2 inches. With the cover back on top it could take a few days before anyone finds (or smells) it.

Good enough for Khessa, given the situation! In a few days, we'll be far. Back to Eric!
For the night, last thing Khessa does is checking that eventual blood in Kriv's room has been cleaned (else she does the cleaning); then, finally, rest of the night with Eric.
Next day, since it's a rest day, the blonde arcane warrior tries to:
- enjoy Eric's company
- pay attention to cultists (their reaction to the disappearence of Mr Killer Wannabe, what the new wizard does - if Khessa discovers he joined the cultists...) If she finds the wizard alone, she might as well go a moment with him and try to discuss magic notes together...
- find a wizard in Daggerford, to exchange spells with (something like Khessa allows they to copy a spell and she gets to copy one from them...)
But your search for a wizard is a bit trickier. It doesn't help that it rains all day long either. You're pretty sure Nixi and the other wizard are the only 2 in the settlement.
You learn that the other wizard is named Azbara Jos. He doesn't talk much, but he doesn't talk to the Cultists either. So in principle he can be approached. (I'm assuming Calvin told you about the tattoos) He's not very helpful... (Do you have a specific topic you'd like to discuss?)
... (I'm assuming Calvin told you about the tattoos) He's not very helpful... (Do you have a specific topic you'd like to discuss?)
(OOC: Can Khessa infer anything from Azbara's tattoos? Anyway...)
As a topic, Khessa would gladly start with a conversation about arcane magic in general, how to use this or that spell, how to achieve this or that effect, the various theories that try to explain it...
If the other, like Nixi, is a 'true' wizard, probably in general he will know more than Khessa and she, in taking notes on the most important concepts and the most interesting theories, will have no difficulty in admitting the vaster knowledge of the other and congratulate (and flatter) him!
(OOC: It is also possible that the other will in turn find at least part of Khessa's arcane knowledge interesting, such as some of the observations that she has had the opportunity to make as a self-taught or some of the theories that she has pinned down regarding certain phenomena - but this obviously at the discretion of the DM)
If after a while they talk about magic the other seems quite at ease, the blonde arcane warrior will perhaps try, between one arcane magic debate and another, even to ask him something about himself, such as for example in which school of magic he specializes ("Once, another young wizard had recommended me the school of conjuration... He was so fond of it! He had also recommended me a reading: 'There's strength in numbers! Fundamentals of conjuration' but it is a text that has never come into my hands yet... "), what kind of spells he prefers, maybe even information about the place where he studied (OOC: which could indirectly give an idea of where he comes from) and, finally, if he might be willing, one day, to take her to study with him as an apprentice ("You know Azbara... you are certainly the most powerful and competent wizard I've ever met... I don't know what you think about me, but keep in mind that the little I know I had to learn all by myself, without any real guidance... I think that if a knowledgeable and experienced wizard such as yourself could accept me as an apprentice, I could grow greatly in knowledge and power - and perhaps, in a not so long time, even be of service to you. What do you think about this? I just have to finish my task of armed escort, then I'll be free to come find you").

Khessa goes to see if the north door is open, since it is the closest, while Anator does the same for the south door, then he returns to report.
If the north door is open, Khessa uses that one.
If it's closed, she moves towards the south door — probably getting Anator's report before reaching it.
If Anator tells her it's open, she uses that one.
If he tells her it's closed... then the blonde arcane warrior will simply approaches the city walls, looking for stairs that could allow her to go up.
