(OOC: Oh, well, I was assuming that pretty much everyone knew about the infamous 'Black Network'... if not, maybe even Khessa only has second hand information. I'll have her roll for history too...)
"Objectively, I don't know much about them either..." Khessa admits "After all, I come from a tiny country hamlet. But in the fairy tales that my parents sometimes told me, the bad guys were often from the Zhentarim, an organization also known as 'Black Network'… so they must not be people you can trust too much".

Khessa's History: 5
The times of Manshoon are long past and mostly forgotten. In the 15th century they transitioned from a conquering force into a mercenary army that serves others. By 1489 we all know that (outwardly) the Zhentarim provides mercenaries and other forms of muscle for hire. History check DC 12 would give you: Informally, it is known as a criminal society akin to a widespread thieves guild. A higher roll might give more intel.
Well, if nothing else in particular happens during the evening, when it's time Khessa and Eric retire to the same room... and when they finally decide to sleep, the blonde arcane warrior entrusts Anator to watch over them and wake her up if... visits arrive.

No problem. The rooms with 2 beds are 5 sp for the night. There are also smaller rooms with 1 bed, those are 3 sp. Nixi takes one of the smaller rooms.
Zale nods to Khessa, "To be honest, I've been skeptical bout er bein a harper for a while. I think she'd a come out n told us if she were. But ye, I be agreein with what ye be sayin, me friend."
After checking on Kriv and Calvin, Zale will book one of the smaller rooms.
Khessa usually wakes up early, used to working in the fields... She probably wakes up at dawn and at that point she also wakes up Eric to go down together to eat something - and maybe then (with the others) reach the caravan that we have to defend.
Breakfast is served from 8am. So you may have some time before breakfast. At 12 o'clock the wagons leave the warehouse, you better be on time.
For breakfast you have the choice between omelette (with cheese and bacon) and strammer max*. Both cost 2 cp.
*I don't know the english word for uitsmijter, but the German strammer max seems pretty common. It's two eggs on white bread with sweet, creamy, yellow cow's milk cheese.
Eric enjoys his Uitsmijter (I imagine that dwarfish tastes and kitchen are quite similar to our German ones! LoL) "A pint of beer won't harm!" he laughs... After this gorgeous dwarfish breakfast he is ready to embark for adventuring
(OOC: The word seems to be 'bouncer', but the dish description is undoubtedly more informative)
Khessa also enjoys a Uitsmijter in the company of Eric, commenting: "Tastes great... just a pity they didn't add some cabbage, but I'll settle for this".
Once the expended energies have been replenished, the blonde arcane warrior suggests to her friends (speaking in a low voice): "Just to digest, do we want to check what the cultists do? If they find us out, we'll make them suspicious... but we might discover something interesting before leave... What do you think?"
Eric nods, still finishing his meal "the more informations we are able to get, the better" he says "do you think we could be able to show ourself to the Gautlet's Hall? I would like to inform them as well, maybe we could find Ontarr there as well"

"Yep" says the dwarf, since Khessa had discussed quite a serious matter, he tries to keep himself together and sober up.
OCC: does Eric know anything about Zhentarims? History check if needed would be: 14
Eric isn't sure. Wasn't that a mercenary company?

"Zhentarim, you say? I'm not sure I have heard this name before" mumbles the dwarf "it doesn't sound as good omen anyway"

OK, Khessa pays the room, deducing 5 sp
Eric would pay his part, thereafter he and Khessa enjoy each other company for the night

History! 10
Kriv finishes his food and drink and rents a room for the night.
"Well," Calvin replies to Zale. "I'm happy to take a smaller room if there's any left. Otherwise, I guess I might have to share."

So, you all go to bed and have a relatively quiet night. What time do you get up?

Kriv wakes up early, more well rested than he has been in months.
