Eric seize the momentum for getting into the kitchen, looking around the storage to see if he notices traces of the cult. as he search, he casts Detect Magic again. Once finished he goes back to the table with dwarfish-flavored stew and beers.
When no one responds to Clavin, he nods along pretending that he is understanding the conversation. However, it is clear that he has been lost in daydreams again.
When Eric mentions working in the kitchen, Calvin speaks up, "Well, I can certainly help you with that. After all, I can grant you blessings and make sure the food is safe to eat."

“The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules.” ― Gary Gygax
Pete looks at you like you've lost your mind. What? No! I kick everyone out when I want to sleep. It's those damned rats! I don’t get no sleep from all the critters in the floors banging and knocking and hissing and whispering at all hours!
"Well, since they wake you up..." Khessa continues the conversation "Have you ever tried to go down and kill or chase away these rats? It would be a bit of a struggle one night, but at least maybe you'd be able to sleep the next ones..."
'Who knows what they do, those Cultists, down there, at night, to be so loud... and why!?' the blonde arcane warrior thinks 'If Bog is the boss here, and he's one of them... what do they need to do? Camouflage the goods with food to transport them better hidden from now on? But why then take this precaution only for the last part of the journey, after the loot has already been transported across half Faerûn without any need for this measure? No, they probably do something else... But I can't imagine what...'

(which check is suitable for cooking, DM?)
You get a ping of Abjuration below you in the back of the kitchen.
(What are you trying to do? An Intelligence check to remember an old family recipe? Or a wisdom check to decipher what kind of food they might like. A Charisma check for making food in an appealing way, or to try to make friends using food?)

I tried that... But when I get to the warehouse they're gone. Or maybe they flee to the strong room? That's where I hear them sometimes when I'm in the warehouse.

"Some annoying rats indeed!" Khessa comments, sympathetically "They flee to the strong room for sure! You can access it from the warehouse, right? Where would the door be? And only Bog has the key, right? So you can't get in and get rid of them once and for all... the little bastards!"
Eric stews bread and vegetables and remnants of the storage making a tasty souphe adds some chops of meat and cheese to add some flavor.
"That's one of my favorite soups" the dwarf laugh "it's made with remnants of bread and vegetables and is suitable for being stored during long journeys". Now excuse me I'll go cleaning some stuff" Eric gets back to the kitchen, looking more carefully to find the source of the Abiuration magic.

(You may find Eric's recipe in the link XD)
"Really tasty, Eric!" Khessa approves "Almost like a cabbages soup!" and she enthusiastically pours some onto everyone's plate...
Zale stuffs her face and pauses when Khessa speaks up, "....Wait...Eric made this?"She asks confused. "Heh, I never pictured ye as a cook matey." Then she goes back to stuffing her face.
Kriv looks to Pete. “Must be some big stinkin rats if they’re keeping you up all night. How do you stop them from getting into the food?” He doesn’t wait for an answer before devouring his soup.

You're pretty sure that the source of the magic comes from one floor below...

That's right! There be only 2 doors. The one to the courtyard and the one to strong room. Pete finishes Eric's ale in one gulp.
Kriv looks to Pete. “Must be some big stinkin rats if they’re keeping you up all night. How do you stop them from getting into the food?” He doesn’t wait for an answer before devouring his soup.
That ain't my job. Funny thing is it only happens the nights after a new load gets dropped off. Now ain’t that some oddball rat behavior?
More people are coming in for dinner now. I better get busy. Pete tells you. Before your pal screws thing up even more. And with that Pete's off and ignores you the rest of the late afternoon and evening.
"I sensed abjuration magic from the floor below" Eric whispers to the others "is the kind of thing you use if you want to hide or protect something. I would go checking, don't you?"
"It's also the kind of thing you use to kill curious people who want to snoop..." comments Khessa "but the matter is too interesting not to investigate. Cultists go to do things there the nights after a new load gets dropped off. I have no idea what they do... but it might be important to find out".
"How do you want to do it?" the blonde arcane warrior consults with her companions "Should I go alone, protected by spells of invisibility and silence? They should not have any way to perceive me... I should be fine... Or do I send Anator, who as a bat, a nocturnal animal, should not arouse suspicion? Or do we all go, trying to stay hidden (but of course risking to be discovered), to be all there in case of problems?"
"I need to come to dispel the magic ward you may find along the way" says the dwarf "furthermore, it's not right being the only one to face the peril my dear"
"So, third option, I guess" Khessa smiles, hugging the dwarf cleric and resting her head against his, appreciating the sensation of... stability, of reliability... she feels as if she is resting on a spur of rock resistant enough to build a fortress with which to challenge the centuries...
"It's okay anyway..." thje blonde arcane warrior comments "All in all, it's always a question of tradeoffs... It will be harder to be stealthy, but it will be easier to react to unexpected events or dangers. We'll do that way".
“We could try to make a distraction. That’s how we used to get the drop on other ships.” Kriv sits, making a small illusion of a pirate ship circle a stone on the ground.
Zale finishes off her soup, "I do be agreein with Eric. No one goes alone." She pauses when Kriv asks about a distraction and a grin spreads across her face, "Heheh, Perhaps me wounds were worse than we thought. Ye think it would be a sufficient distraction if I keel over dyin? If I can't be doin the sneakin, I gotta be useful some other way."

Zale will walk with the others, sticking mostly with Kriv.

Eric would try to re-shape the stew in his own way, making it tastier
An eventual wisdom check would be 22
Whatever you made, it's probably the tastiest thing to ever come out of this kitchen. (You can describe it in detail if you want.)
