Khessa, while the Lizardfolk in melee with her (OOC: Lizardfolk C) sees his vicious blows stopped by invisible obstacles, draws her Greatsword and tries to surprise the other with a slash to the legs.
Zale chooses the next closest target and strikes. This time she strikes with bother her rapier and her claw...she needs to get more used to doing that after all.
Rapier To hit: 7 (assuming it's a miss lol)
Claw to hit: 13
Damage: 6
Unfortunately theit AC is 15, so your attacks both miss.
Khessa, while the Lizardfolk in melee with her (OOC: Lizardfolk C) sees his vicious blows stopped by invisible obstacles, draws her Greatsword and tries to surprise the other with a slash to the legs.
During his turn, Eric bashes with his hammer the (B) Lizardfolk if he still stands or the closest one otherwise. As bonus action he casts healing word on Kriv.
(C) attacks Khessa: 15 + 4 = 19 to hit for 5 + 2 = 7 dmgand 11 + 4 = 15 to hit
(D) moves to Kriv and attacks: 11 + 4 = 15 to hit for 1 + 2 = 3 dmg (halved) and nat 1 to hit
(E) runs to Zale and attacks: 4 + 4 = 8 to hit and 6 + 4 = 10 to hit
(F) tries to strike at Eric: 4 + 4 = 8 to hit and 12 + 4 = 16 to hit
(G) joins (F) in his attack on Eric: 16 + 4 = 20 to hit for 1 + 2 = 3 dmg and 10 + 4 = 14 to hit.
(H) and (I) (who I forgot about...) both decide to help (J) with his Lizard (Calvin) problem: 5 + 4 = 9 to hit, 19 + 4 = 23 to hit for 1 + 2 = 3 dmg, 5 to hit and 17 + 4 = 21 to hit for 1 + 2 = 3 dmg
And (J) tries to kill Calvin: nat 1 and 6 + 4 = 10 to hit.
Khessa receives a blow on her ribs from the Lizardfolk she is fighting which, despite the protection of the metal of the armour, would have been hard... but the previously activated arcane ward absorbs the damage without causing her pain; indeed, to demoralize her opponent, instead of the expected grimace of suffering, she gives him a condescending smile: "Not bad..."
The blonde arcane warrior, however, without showing it, is impressed by the wild combativeness of these Lizardfolk... the heavy armor defends almost every point of her body, and yet, if she hadn't used magic, she would have already reported bruises or injuries three or four times.

Are you recasting Shield? Because you've had a turn between the reaction and this attack (Shield only last untill the start of your next turn).

Huh? No, sorry if I wasn't clear enough, maybe next time I'll add the technical details in an OOC parenthesis (this time I didn't do it because I thought they were already understood like that).
Khessa this time preserves her spell slot and takes the damage. However, with the previous cast, her Arcane Ward feature had been activated (guaranteed by the Abjuration school) - therefore Khessa had 9HP in the ward. Now the ward absorbs the 7 damage points dealt instead of her, so there are still 2HP left in the ward).
I described things this way because I imagine that since the ward absorbs the damage in Khessa's place, she practically doesn't feel the pain of the blow.
Ok, that's clear to me then! Maybe it's because English isn't my first language and I read the text too fast, but I thought you were talking about Shield. Thank you for the clarification.
(OOC: @DM: Oh, you're welcome! Thet fatct that English isn't the first language for me also probably did not help 😉. Anyway... I was waiting for Zale, since Khessa acts after her, but since their actions should be pretty independent, I declare Khessa's action now)
Hoping to surprise the Lizardfolk who have once again seen her blows ineffective, Khessa swings her heavy blade in a rapid arc, towards the reptile-man's collarbone, from the opposite side from which he has just attacked.
Unfortunately, the tenacious opponent is too experienced to be easily caught unprepared and blocks by raising his shield.
The blonde arcane warrior then tries to kick him in the chest to gain a foot of distance and charges a new blow to the side, hoping to pass under the monster's raised shield!
(OOC: Using Action Surge to attack again; of course, the described kick is intended as part of the Greatsword attack and is not meant to have effects in game terms - not even to effectively push the target - it is just part of the description of this attack action)
Occ: Eric would save his slot then

Attack: 16 Damage: 12 (slashing)
(Lol Zale's still less than half alive right now. Unless there was another short rest after her fight that I missed...)
(OOC: Eric... If I understand Zale well, it seems we have a volunteer for you slot! 😉)
Unfortunately theit AC is 15, so your attacks both miss.
That's a good hit!
So maybe Zale now?
Player: Any Good Alignment // DM: Lawful Evil
That kills (B)
Only Kriv and Calvin can still take a turn this round.

Zale can have Eric slot!
She gets 7 hp back
Calvin continues with his attacks of biting at his enemies.
(Attack: 7 Damage: 3 piercing damage)

Kriv advances to the next Lizardfolk and swings at the creature.
To hit: 10 is a miss.
Both attacks miss.
