"It's a good idea. Go in as Grignar, see the boss, knock out the boss, lower a rope to us, we go in and get the documents we need. You don't sound excited about it, but it's likely our best, least bloody plan."
Akyan raises an eyebrow at Tamryn. "You have a ring too don't you? I'll do the talking, but I'm sure we can at least get the two of us in there. I doubt the boss will be alone, not at first anyway. Two of us will be able to make sure everything goes quickly. Besides, if i were able to get in and take the boss out on my own without alerting the rest of the place. There wouldn't be a point to me getting the rest of you in."
After making sure no passerby is looking, Akyan will tap his hat again, changing his appearance to match the half-orc Grignar. "Hopefully i can imitate this guy well enough to get through."
Kyrsa really doesn't like the idea of trying to use trickery again after the huge failure of their last attempt, but Tamryn does have a point. "Alright, I will keep watch for now... and I'll have my bow ready in case things go south. If he turns you away, we can try going through the tavern like Tamryn said before." She pulls out her bow and takes up a hidden position, as close as she can get without having to worry about drawing attention.
Tamryn suspects that when elves get involved in crime in this town it is not usually at the level of street things or errand boys. But he doesn't want to leave Akyan on his own, so he attempts to quickly make himself look less "elf-y." He rubs dirt on his face, re-arranges his hair to hide his ears, looks for things to stuff in his shirt to make him look more robust.
Performance: 23 (nat 20 and a huge sigh of relief)
Akyan puts the ring on his thumb, hoping it's not so big that it becomes a nuisance. Then watches Tamryn de-elfify himself. Once the wood elf is ready, he says, "I'm going to make this sound urgent, our shipment is late, and my regular crew seems to have vanished. I'm worried that they may have double-crossed the serpents, and joined another gang. They could be the reason the shipment is late. Sound reasonable to you? Can't think of any other reason Grignar would want to talk to another team's boss."
(I'm guessing we have the password for this address as well? Also, did the address have a name with it?)
Jhaartael casually begins to follow the duergar, keeping his distance. Once he is a little further from the guards, he stops at a clothing stand pretending to look at some merchandise but keeping the duergar in his sight. Frowning at a seam he says quietly "sanarcir" - casting the spell as surreptitiously as possible.
((the Duergar must make an Int save DC 15 - on fail he takes 1 point of damage and must subtract 1d4 from the next save he makes before the end of my next turn))
Jhaartael moves smoothly, but quickly to the Duergar, putting his arm around him and whispering, "Now where are you going my friend?" - applying his Hypnotic Gaze.
((Wis Save minus 1d4 if Mind Sliver succeeds: DC 15 or entranced))
Lyndaran keeps both the duergar and Jhaartael on sight, keeping the distance but he approaches when Jhaartael does trying to pierce the duergar if he tries to flee.

(Did we get these things? Just want to know before Akyan actually walks up to the guy. Though apparently he might need to know orcish, so it might not matter lol)

(Sorry, my bad. Yes, the password is "copperhead" but there was no name, just an address.)

(No worries!)
Akyan approaches the half-orc sitting in front of the door. He stops in front of him and crosses his arms but making sure the ring is clearly visible. Speaking in a low voice so anyone passing by wouldn't hear him, he says "I need to speak to your boss. The password's copperhead. This is an urgent matter, so i don't have time to stand around."
Pipe-orc looks up as Akyan/Grignar approaches, and grins broadly. "Hey bur, nalkren's khe naka? Haven't seen you in a while. Urgent, eh? Sure, no problem." He sets the chair down on all four legs and stands up. He pushes the door open and yells inside, "Aeric! You got a visitor here! Ok to send him in?"He turns back to the disguised drow and claps him on the shoulder. "Ayh lat ukavill ukeeaumn avhaav kulkodar gru? whaav wauk lav-liname?"
When the duergar turns to look at Jhaartael a human woman wearing a blue cloak that can't totally hide her blond hair approaches him and passes a hand over his shoulder, masking her true intentions, for the other hand stabs him twice with a dagger, using the cloak and the body as cover for it.
"My friend!"says the woman "How are you? come... allow me to buy you a drink... for old time's shake"
Lyndaran will use Disguise Self to look as the woman.
He will stab the duergar, hopefully with advantage.

Startled, Jhaartael recovers quickly, waving his ringed hand before the duergar and says "lhûtha""Yes friend, you do not look well... let us help you to a more comfortable place to rest..."

(Congrats, you now look like a busty teenaged human boy)
As Neero strides along, apparently heading for Serpent HQ, a psychic probe suddenly enters his mind...
INT Save 3
... causing him to wince with a sudden headache. Jhaartael appears suddenly at his side, uttering soothing words...
WIS Save 4
... and the duergar stares at him. "Who the hell are you??"
(Heh heh.... Nope!)
