Jhaartael's countenance relaxes at the mention of his sister's name. "Nanthaliene is my sister. She has helped me deepen my understanding of the Seldarine." With a more peaceful smile full of the autumn winds and warm summer twilight he continues, "Teacher, your information and guidance would suffice and I am of course ready to try to assist your mission as well. However, I am not alone. As you alluded to, my compatriots are nearby. I would ask you to join me to meet with them to relay what you have told me."
((Edited the last bit because I did not realize Mina rolled for stealth - she beat my passive perception so I would not have noticed her entering))
Tamryn turns to his companions and says, “Well, we’ve just had an amazing stroke of luck and I believe that should be celebrated.” He throws his arms around Kyrsa and Ryan, dragging them toward the tavern and loudly slurring, “Didja sssssseeeeee the fourth race? All my money on Grulden…no…Gulden Fortoon. 20 to 1. We’re…er…drinking all night!”
Kyrsa blinks as Tamryn drags them forwards, giving 'Ryan' a glance before doing her best to look cheerful...which is really difficult in her winter season. "Alright alright...but you are buying!" She says, attempting to sound excited and probably failing at it.
The drow reflexively stiffens when Tamryn suddenly grabs him and starts hauling him towards the tavern. "So much for communication." He frowns but forces himself to let the wood elf pull him forward. As he does so, he uses his hat to disguise himself as a middle aged human, who un-creatively looks pretty much like a pale, round-eared version of himself. Letting his irritation at this situation seep into his voice, he replies to Kyrsa, "You really think he's got the money to pay for this? He just said he put ALL his money on Gulden Fortoon. What a waste. And don't you leaches expect me to pay for this either."

Nylond briefly bows his head as he passes the images of the Elven deities. He lays his hand on Jhaartael's shoulder for a moment. "Of course, I want to meet the rest of your merry band. Lead the way, friend." As he arrives at the door and swings it open for Jhaartael, he turns to look at Mina. "Will you be joining us, my dear?" he asks, in Common.
Before he leaves the chapel, he pulls the hood of his cloak up, wreathing his features in darkness as he walks out into the night.
(OOC: I am trying to look like bait for a trap to catch the orcs. I’m hoping to follow them inside so they get a good whiff of my bait-y-ness, and then will follow me outside, into the trap to be sprung by my compatriots).
Tamryn says, "I know how to pic'...hic'...hic'...ick 'em. V'got a system. 'N now, I have GOLD!!! Sword n' Fffffff....fffffff.....flack everone! I'm buyin'!"
As the half-orcs reach the bend in Tinker's Alley, they pause as they hear some commotion behind them. Tamryn, Kyrsa, Akyan and Lyndaran have rounded the corner and entered the Alley. The thugs glance at one another, chuckling. Three of them walk around the corner, while one remains, seemingly fascinated by a brass lamp-post, which he studies intently.
(I don't yet know what Jhaartael and Mina are up to)
Startled a bit, Mina smiles and responds to the priest, "Yes, I am one of the friends he mentioned." Turning to Jhaartael, "The others are following some half-orcs to see if they can use them to gain access to the tower. I think they are heading to a tavern."
"Ah. Perfect. No time to explain. Nyblond, is an ally and has some information which could help with our current work." replies Jhaartael in a breath. "Now, let us head toward that tavern, and hope they have not gotten themselves into trouble. Lead on Mina!"
One half-orc remains visible in the darkened alley, seemingly oblivious to your approaching presence. The other three have gone around the corner to the north. As Tamryn stumbles forwards in his faux-inebriated state, Jhaartael, Nyblond and Mina catch up to the rest of the party. The orc is about 30 feet ahead, and Tamryn about 20 feet ahead of the rest of the party.

Unsure of how the connection to Akyan works, Mina attempts to talk to him, "Akyan? Um... you there? I have Jhaatael with me and another asset who seems to be able to help us enter the building. Or at the very least have some good intel. There is a half-orc out here very interested in a lamp-post, what shall we do?"
She looks to the two others, "hang on, I'm trying to connect to one of our group, see if they are in the middle of something we don't want to screw up."
Hearing Mina's voice in his head, he responds, "Yeah, I can hear you. Alright, I'll let Kyrsa know. I think we were trying to get the jump on these orcs. If Jhaartael's asset has a better way in, then perhaps we should drop this idea."
He glances at Kyrsa and speaks in a low voice as to not alert the half-orc, "Sounds like Jhaartael may have found a better way in. Should we proceed with... whatever we are doing? Or retreat and talk to this new asset that Jhaartael found us? On one hand, assuming the asset actually can get us in, this could be a waste of time and energy. On the other, it could be used as a backup plan should Jhaartael's information prove useless."
Tamryn straightens up and wobbles a little bit. Pointing waveringly toward the half-orc, he says, "You sir! I am looking for an establishment where I can get ineee...ineeber...ibneri, where I can get drunk....er. I'm told of the Knife and Fork is here. Lead me there and I shall buy you two beverages, maybe three!"
The half-orc slowly turns with a studied "who me?" look on his face. "Well now, wot have we got here? A widdle elfie, three sheets to the wind. Sure, fella, sure... Ol' Buknog'll show you right where ta go..."
An urgent whisper from the shadows to the north: "Idiot! No names!"
Buknog winces, and says, "Uh... Yeah... Uh... Buknog's the name o' the barkeep... yeah.. I'm takin' you ta see Buknog an' you can buy me that drink... right this way." A meaty hand grabs Tamryn's cloak at the back of his neck, and steers him towards the darkened alley northward...

PbP Character: A few ;)
(Folks, please do write posts when you are half-asleep. They are much more entertaining.)
(So, are you attempting to accost the wayward Serpents before they enter the tavern, or simply follow them in?)
