The tables listen attentively, but being inanimate objects, make no response.
Lol
(So does Akyan tell Mina of this plan? Cause she would be all on board with this - hoping to learn where to drop off the half-orcs money)
As she is telepathically talking to Akyan, she hears her brothers name and snaps her attention back to the halfling. "Thamior. Yes, I do know him, when's the last time you saw him? And don't worry, we'll figure this out."
Mina turns back to the halfling with a reassuring smile on her face now that she knows what the plan is. At least she thinks she does :)
"Look, we'll take these half-orcs as well as the bag of money and leave your establishment. My friends will be able to convince these thugs that they were mugged out in the alley, and we will take the money to the Serpents, so the Serpents will have no reason to look here or anywhere for it. Sound good? Obviously," she looks towards the door that Jake had poked his head through, "we need to get moving."
Trying to help the woman calm down, she does wait for her response, even though she wants to head out of the kitchen and help as soon as possible.
Nyla reluctantly assents to the plan. With Tiny's help, your party is now outside the tavern, in Tinker's Alley, in possession of a bag of gold coins and four unconscious half-orcs.
“Excellent,” says Tamryn, “I think that went swimmingly. Shall we drag these oats off somewhere unobserved and assume their identities? Speaking of identities, who is our new friend?”
Akyan responds in elvish, "Yes, and which plan are we going with? We can't all going to try to sneak in by using these orcs, so unless we have a plan to smuggle two of us in, we have to split the team. But I'm not sure it's a great idea not to split us up evenly. We could just take the identity of three of them and, if anyone asks, come up with a reason he's not with us. Either way, the secret entrance will have to serve as our escape route."
(Mina can RP some more with Nyla if desired, or we can fast forward to her being outside with everyone else. Tiny carried one half-orc under each arm, and plopped them down just outside the door before going back in, so you get to orc-handle them the rest of the way to wherever you're going.)
Jhaartael introduces Nyblond to those party members who haven't had a chance to formally meet him. "This is Nyblond, we and he share some mutual friends, and as you may have heard inside, he has information that may assist us in our next assignment. He mentioned that we might be able to deposit these 'guests' in his establishment until they wake up."
The wizard summarizes what Nyblond shared inside the tavern for those who were not present.
Under the weight of one of the half-orcs, Lyndaran nods to Nyblond
"Pleased to... meet you... ugh" he leaves the half-orc at the designated spot. "Gods he was heavy. " he stretches his arms obviously not used to carry such burdens.
After hearing the information he nods.
"This are excellent news. What to we want to do then? Do we split into two groups one entering and giving the money and the other via the secret entrance? Or we use it as a exit route? Excuse me for asking Nyblond but do you have any idea of the layout inside the compound? My concern entering via the door is how to reach that third floor and the secret passage. I do not like the idea of spliting the party even if it seems to be more efficient" he says even if he has the one that had first talked about that " Every option has it's own risk but we should decide fast... "
Nyblond shares with the group the basic details he gave Jhaartael in post #1836. Further, "I believe the secret stair is hidden behind the large fireplace hearth at the eastern side of each floor. Each level is octagonal, but I do not know if the office is located in the same place on each floor."
The time is currently 1 AM.
(For any Europeans, we will use the American system of referring to the ground or bottom floor as the "first floor" and then one level up is the "second floor" and so on.)
"I don't like the idea of splitting up either," Kyrsa says as she places Nogrith alongside his slumbering companions. Dusting off her shoulder she continues, "Not after what happened last time, but I'm afraid if we want to use these orcs as a way to get in we might not have a choice. Unless we have a way to make the remainder of us invisible, then I don't see how we can get all of us in through the front door. So, we may just have to split up anyways." She nods to Lyndaran, "Either way, like you said we should get a move on. We've spent to much time dealing with these half-orcs already."
Akyan nods, "I would suggest that Tamryn, Lyndaran, and I should be the ones to pose as the half-orcs, while the rest of you use the stairs. I'd say we are best suited for that task, plus I won't need to make a new link with anyone. We are splitting three and three right?"
Mina looks at the half-orcs asleep at her feet then back up to the rest, "Do you think it will be an issue that there were four of them and then only three show up? Would that plant suspicion?" Also, didn't Nyblond talk about needing something to move from floor to floor? Something to prove you're supposed to be there? Will the money be enough or are we thinking the rings? Or should we go through their pockets and see if they have something that might make sense? I'm just worried we're going to get stuck in there."
"My thoughts as well," Kyrsa says to Mina. "It would be more desirable to split the party evenly, but we don't want to arouse suspicion right off." She turns to Akyan, "I suppose you three could say that whichever one of these half-orcs you don't use as a disguise decided to make a stop at a tavern, but I still think that's risky. I say take Jhaarteal with you. Mina and I can take the secret passage." She hands Tamryn one of the scrolls of Disguise self, "Here, I believe Akyan, Lyndaran, and Jhaarteal should be fine in this regard...I'm assuming you will need this though, unless you also have a way to cast the spell?"
She pauses, waiting for a response before continuing, "I will keep at least one of these scroll just in case of emergency. I also have the ring I took of Nogrith here...are all the rings the same?" She asks the last part as if it just occurs to her. "I'm assuming they are, but if not then you all should take care to were the ring that corresponds with the person you are imitating."
She looks to Mina, "Are you alright with this? Akyan has a link with both of us right now, so we should be in contact with him no matter what. I think Jhaarteal is better off with them since...well if something goes wrong like it did the last couple times we tried disguises, he might be able to use one of his spells to help with the situation. Plus...well I'm not a good actor so I don't think going myself is the best option. However, if you think you are better suited for this then Jhaarteal...or," she looks to the wizard, "if you think Mina would be better suited then you, then feel free to object. I want everyone to be confident in the part they have to play."
"Disguise self only changes one's appearance. So unless Mina can sound like a male half-orc, then I say Jhaarteal should come with us." Akyan states as he starts to search the bodies of the half-orcs. "I think the rings should get us in at least, but I don't think more than one of us should wear one. Only one of these four had one, so it might be suspicious if all four of us were wearing them. On top of that, they were only supposed to be delivering the coins. I doubt they are of high enough rank to have access to all of the floors, which means we may have to use stealth to access to some areas."
Tamryn takes the scroll and then says, grimly, "I think Akyan and Kyrsa have come up with the best plan. That said, I also think it would be best if we just killed these prisoners and disposed of the bodies. If they suspect the half-orcs of causing the fire and theft, they'll have no-one to question. There is no particular reason for them to come to this tavern looking for answers. The half-orcs will just be gone after tonight."
Jhaartael nods in assent. "I am happy to accompany those that will enter by the gate. I also believe this plan to be as good as one could expect given our rushed window of time. While it is true that only one of these half-orcs wore a ring, I think we observed earlier that anyone not wearing a ring was relieved of all weapons upon entry. We perhaps should at least wear them going through the main entrance, and then if you think it will interfere with our disguise efforts, we could remove them inside."
(Assuming you include Nyblond in your conversations) The elven cleric contributes, "Yes, I would search them for any tokens, that will show you which floor and office they were headed to to deliver their daily income, and grant you passage up and down the regular stairways, at least as far as they were permitted to go."

“It’s ok good idea, table-whisperer”
says Lyndaran to Tamryn standing up and grabbing one of the half orcs by one arm and passing it over his shoulders

Nyla responds, "Hm, maybe a tenday or so ago. Said he'd be back, but I haven't seen him again."
At this point, Jake opens the door and says, "Those half-orcs passed out. Tiny's going to carry them out to the street."
"What?? Uh, no, wait..." she looks at Mina, and whispers urgently, "... what should we do?"
Akyan relays the plan to Mina, then starts helping Tamryn move the orcs.
Kyrsa will haul Nogrith out of the tavern as her companions take care of the other three half-orcs.
