Tamryn feels fairly confident he has evaded observation for the moment. Where is he headed?
----------
Back at the tavern, Tsivini the minstrel answers the knocking, and listens to Lyndaran's ghost story. He seems skeptical, but promises to pass the information along to Nyla, who is clearly the leader of the bunch. As the door is closing, Lyndaran notices the other employees pouring alcohol over the tables and the floor.
--------------------
Ok, so now we're back to Nyblond's chapel. *rewind tape*
"You made it back! Wonderful! Is everyone all right, no casualties?" He looks you over. "Oh no, someone seems to be missing. I'm so sorry."
"No, we didn't lose anyone," Kyrsa says in response to Nyblond. "Our missing friend has other business he is taking care of."
Mina nods to Nyblond, the words of Nyla, you're nothing like the human Thamior, still stinging in her mind. She finds a seat near the rest, but doesn't engage unless spoken to as she takes out the folder on Thamior and pours over it.
Tamryn you will arrive back at the safehouse around 8 AM, unless you decide to take a detour of some kind.
-----------------
Everyone else, it's about 4:30 AM at Nyblond's chapel. I don't want to assume anything... are you going to give him the folder? Dialogue as much as you want, and then let me know when you are ready to head somewhere else (safehouse, ship, etc.)
Akyan gives Mina a brief glance when she catches up to him, however he remains silent. He can tell Nyla's words had hit her hard, but he never considered himself good with words. He'd likely just make things worse if he tried to offer any sort of comfort, so he remains silent.
Once inside the chapel, the drow considers dropping his human disguise but decides against it. It's better if Nyblond doesn't know his true appearance, for more reasons than the simple fact that this elf may react similarly to Jhaartael when seeing him. Not to mention this is how the elf saw him to begin with, better to not raise any questions.
Still remaining silent, he looks to Kyrsa and Jhaartael expectantly.
Still looking like an old man, Jhaartael nods as his comrades rejoin inside the chapel. To Nyblond he says, "Is this the information you sought?" as the documents are handed over. Then back to his comrades, "We had better get back to the safehouse. Were you able to reassure the halfling and her associates?"
If Nyblond doesn't have anything else to say or ask of them, then Kyrsa will motion to the others and make her way out and towards the safe house. Its been a long day, and they still have to debrief with the dwarves. Hopefully everything went well for Tamryn, but that is out of her hands currently.
"Yes... how did it go?" Kyrsa asks Mina, noticing her expression. "Is everything alright?"
Nyblond smiles as he accepts the packet. "Straight to business, eh? No tales of adventure, narrow escapes, brave battles against incredible odds? The neighborhood does seem a little busier than usual for this late hour, you must have stirred up some sort of commotion. Well, no mind, you have produced results... Let's see, yes. Yes, this is exactly what I needed. Perfect! I thank you for the risk you surely took in procuring this for me. I am so glad we were able to help each other."
"Would you care to rest, I have a bottle of wine I've been saving for a special occasion....? Or if you are in a hurry to be on your way, I understand completely."
----------------
Glancing through the employee file on Thamior, Mina notes that he signed on as a sailor to one of the cartel's slave-hauling ships approximately nine months ago, and advanced up to a position of leadership, and subsequently was assigned to be in charge of delivering shipments of human cargo by ship to various locations up and down the coast.
“There are plenty of those tales” says Lyndaran “Bur perhaps we should save it for another time. We should be going back. We are exhausted and need some rest. Be safe Nyblond I hope we meet again soon”
"Alas, we must be elsewhere soon, and we are eager to return to our companion. Perhaps another time."excuses Jhaartael as he gently refuses Nyblond's hospitality and begins to turn to the door. "Shall we go?" He says to his team in more of a statement than a question.
Mina looks up at Jhaartael's and Kyrsa's questions. "Yeah, well, it could have gone better. They took the gold, but are very upset about the risk they feel they are now in. I think they are abandoning their tavern. They asked for a safe place and at the time I couldn't think of anything. I think Lyndaran went back and let them know about The Nightmare?" she looks at him as she says this, "How was that received?"
Once finished going through the files, she closes them in a huff and stuffs them back in her pack.
Kyrsa nods to Nyblond, "As Jhaarteal said, we have somewhere we need to be. But, thank you. Without knowledge of that hidden staircase, I doubt this mission would have gone as smoothly as it had even if we weren't looking for those documents. Farewell for now."
She looks to Mina, "I see. Well, I can't say I don't blame them. Though in all honesty if the decision had been left to me I wouldn't have gone back there at all. We did what we could to ensure that the...incident wouldn't be traced back to them before heading into the building. I'm not sure that going back and upending their lives further really improves anything..." She stops herself from continuing, realizing that her words might just worsen the situation, "The Nightmare? That's actually a pretty good idea. At least it won't go to waste, though I'm not sure we can rightly make it our own safe house if we have outsiders staying there. We'll have to talk to Aldara about that... I would say that perhaps we could gain a few recruits for the circle, but we don't really know those people well enough to jump to that conclusion. No to mention it is our fault that their lives have been overturned in such a short time. Like Jhaarteal said though, we may want to go meet them there to make sure that our friends on board don't cause them trouble."
By this time I'm guessing they are already walking towards the safe house.
Once more turning to Mina, Kyrsa asks slowly, "Was...there anything promising in that folder?"
Upon leaving Nyblond's, Jhaartael/old man raises an aged and bony hand. A moment and then the familiar raven descends and perches gently on his hand. "Artaquetië, tell me what you have seen of the tower after we left."

Upon leaving Nyblond's, Jhaartael/old man raises an aged and bony hand. A moment and then the familiar raven descends and perches gently on his hand. "Artaquetië, tell me what you have seen of the tower after we left."
The raven shares images of much smoke and a few flames exiting the building, but flying spellcasters and bucket brigades on the ground are in place, and it looks like the tower will not be totally destroyed.
So, if you are headed to the safehouse, assuming you take normal precautions to avoid being followed, you will arrive in about 60 minutes, or approximately 5:30 A.M. Most of the dwarves are in their quarters, but Millie and Mollie are awake in the common room. They are applying bandages to each other; there are several bruises and cuts you don't recall from the last time you saw them. They look up as you enter and grin broadly. "How did it go...?""Mission accomplished...?" "Where's pretty-boy Tamryn?
(Feel free to dialogue. When you're done, you may meditate, study, eat, practice, etc. Tamryn arrives about 8 AM. Spar will come out to see how things went around 10 AM and you are scheduled for teleport around 12:30. Let me know what if anything you intend to do. And if you want to skip ahead to teleport, that's fine.)
As soon as he's inside, Akyan takes his hat off, dropping his disguise. He glances at the two dwarves, taking in their wounds. After a moment of silence he replies bluntly, "Mission accomplished." The drow had a feeling the convenient distraction from earlier was not a coincidence, and the new cuts and bruises on these dwarves solidified that feeling. However, the young elf isn't in the mood for talking. He's still all bloody from that blasted guard.
Akyan makes his way back to his room to grab a new set of cloths, then heads to the washroom to clean up. After bandaging his own wounds, he makes his way back to his quarters to take a rest.
Tamryn feels fairly confident he has evaded observation for the moment. Where is he headed?

The others may actually already be there. Shroedinger's timey-wimey puddy tat. You won't know until you know.
