As Mina listens to whether or not they disobey orders and go help or stay here, she is split. Especially when hearing that the last elves Aldara lost almost broke her. But she knew she couldn't just sit back and let whatever it was happening at the farm continue. She follows Rigel and sees if there is a longbow that she can use.

Lyndaran thought that he would be more comfortable at the Farm or even at another mission. The first one was a total success but not thanks to him or his abilities. He was simply not good at social interactions.
When the mental message came it was already too late and they were already teleporting. Then havoc erupted around them and all happened too fast. By the time they appeared in the room with the dwarves he was already aiming at something, and having no flying target he turned his bow towards one of the dwarves. Once they relaxed he put down the arrow and put the bow back into the quiver.
He tried to recall the rune and offered himself also to help.
"I do agree that it would be more a rescue mission than joining the battle. I do not care about the orders, they need us... " he says
“Friends, let’s go boldly into this fight! It is better to risk our necks for the light than save them, waiting in a shadow. If we die, it will be a sorrow for our friends, but they know the cause we keep is worth it. If we live,” he waggles his eyebrows, “just think of the glories we can share with pretty young things at the tavern. Our companions took us in when we wished to change our fate; I dare not leave them to theirs.”
With that, he follows the dwarf to the armory, looking for a bow, arrows, dagger, and rapier.
"nobody is going to a fight. We are going to rescue them... if there is anyone alive. Consider that maybe they have already fled the Farm and we jump to a place full of enemies"
Then, as if slowly recognizing, "Hold. Do we have any notion of the enemy forces? Was it a dragon? Several dragons? What type of dragons? Were there any other attackers on land? If it was dragons, how likely is it they were working with others? What do we know about who would want to attack the Farm?"
The dwarven barbarian leads you down the corridor to your right, and opens a heavy oaken door, beyond which you find a room with narrow slits for windows, although it is currently dark outside. He reaches up and lights two wall torches, revealing several weapon racks holding blades, hammers and axes of varying lengths. Heavy and light crossbows are piled on a table in the corner, and several shortbows hang from pegs in the wall above. A barrel of arrows and a bucket of crossbow bolts is nearby. On the opposite wall hang several suits of leather and chainmail armor, in both dwarf and elf sizes, as well as metal shields.
"Fine bonny weppa here! Dinnae dally, ye ken? Spar's well crabbit, Tatties o’wer the side!"says Rigel cheerfully and opaquely.
Choosing your gear quickly, you follow him to a large room where the other dwarves are already waiting, fully armored and looking grim. You take your places within the circle as one of the dwarves is adjusting the destination sigils, and soon feel the tendrils of magic reaching out to you again, pulling you through the ether with a nauseating jolt, and you suddenly find yourself standing once again- in the courtyard of the Farm.
The smell of smoke is still chokingly heavy, and flamesand embers glow and crackle in all directions. No one is currently in sight, and no flying creatures are immediately visible in the darkness overhead. The corpse has also been taken down from where it was pinned to the wall, but you do find tattered shreds of the robe on the ground nearby.
Spar confers with you about the different buildings, and sends his crew off in two groups of three to check the administration building and the staff barracks. He suggests you might want to retrieve your own gear, and then check the classroom, the mess hall, and the stables.
"Stay low, stay hidden, stay quiet," he whispers hoarsely. "Rendezvous back at the circle in 15 minutes. If we hear sounds of battle, we will come find you, or you can have your telepath contact Duncan." He then turns and moves off rapidly with two of his team, towards the administration building.
He then moves with the group to the barracks to collect their gear and keep an eye out for survivors.
Once things have been collected, if the team splits up to search the other areas and rendezvous back at the teleportation point, he will go with the group searching the classroom.

Keeping up with Jhaartael to the barracks, Mina grabs her items as well, slinging her net over her bag last. As she emerges from the barracks, she heads over to where the corpse was hung, seeing if there were any tracks or drag marks to follow.
(OOC: Akyan would have given Tamryn the cloak, Kyrsa the boots, and Lyndaran the bow, before they teleported.)
Akyan, follows after Lyndaran. He's still a bit shaken from Spar searching his memories, but he forces himself to focus. Seeing that Lyndaran is searching for tracks, Akyan keeps a lookout for anything or anyone that might attack them, or potentially help them.
Kyrsa accepts the boots from Akyan, quickly realizing that everyone was ready to go ahead and attempt to save the day. Alright, that is fine. She grabs a longbow and some arrows, equipping herself with her usual gear before heading to meet up with the rest. She braces herself as they teleport to the Farm.
"Alright, we have to be smart about this," she whispers quickly before everyone leaves. "We don't need any more casualties. Lets at least stay in pairs."
She looks to Mina, "Do you want to go with me? And Tamryn and Jhaarteal can stick together?"
If Mina agrees, she will start off after her, realizing that Mina is heading in the direction of the corps.

Tamryn gathers his things, stuffing a bit of parchment into his tunic. He then heads with Jhaartael to the classroom, looking for clues regarding where his friends may have gone or who the attackers were as they go.
As Mina starts heading off towards where the corpse hung, she hears Kyrsa's words and nods to her as she continues on. Once they both get there, she asks Kyrsa for help looking for tracks or drag marks of the corpse to see maybe where it was taken.

You all manage to retrieve your gear from the training barracks, which appear mostly untouched. The clasroom is another story. Tables and chairs lie broken and blasted in the room and the door into the instructor's office is ripped off its hinges, laying to the side. The office has various papers strewn about, some stained with blood. There was definitely a struggle in here.
In the stables, there are two dead horses that are badly burned, and the structure itself has been heavily damaged by fire.
When you enter the mess hall, it seems abandoned as well, tables kicked over and trays and dishes smashed on the floor. However, as you investigate, a trap door in the middle of the floor opens, and Breezy's head pops out. "Over here!"She exclaims. "We got almost everyone teleported out, but there are some who are too wounded to move, so we're down here with them. The attackers fled shortly after I sent you to the safe house. Come down."
Under the well-hidden trapdoor, a set of stairs descends into a room where you see several cots containing bandaged staff members. Aldara is kneeling by the cot of Anton who has his chest and arms wrapped. Healers and herbalists are ministering to those groaning in pain. She turns to look at you with a tear-stained face, and cold, empty eyes.
Tamryn immediately kneels before Aldara, saying, “We came to help. What would you have us do? We came with Spar and the dwarven team from Athlatka. Should we find them and bring them here? Empty slop buckets? Change dressings? Slit the throats of those behind this attack in the night? We are prepared to help as you need us.”
Aldara stares blankly at Tamryn for several long uncomfortable seconds. She reaches out a shaky hand and places it on his shoulder. She says slowly, "What I need... is for you, all of you, to stay alive. This foe is too strong, and you are not ready. I was not ready. Maybe we never will be.
"The time will come, when we will strike back with a fist of righteous vengeance, and those... monsters... will pay for their crimes. All of them. But today, we hide, we heal, and we once again find our hope. Hope that we can make a difference. Hope that we can protect those weaker than ourselves. And hope that no matter how dark the night, light will always return and drive it back in the morning."
At this point, Breezy quietly ushers you away.

Spar and his team are found and join you in the mess hall, above ground. Breezy gives you an update on the tactical situation:
"All hostiles are gone from the Farm for now. We have scouts positioned out to two miles in every direction, and mages straining to detect any incoming teleports or portals. Percy is out with a small group trying to track our enemy, we have not had a report back as yet.
"This location is now compromised, and we will complete our evacuation to a back-up site that we had been working on just in case of such an eventuality. I don't have the authority to fully read you in to this situation, but I can tell you that there is opposition to what we do, and what we stand for. There are forces of evil out there that are aware of us, despite our efforts, and that are actively working to snuff out the DCL. And it is even possible that they have hidden double agents among us. That is why there is the need for security clearances and code words and such, tiresome as they are. If Aldara gives permission, Spar can update you further on this matter when you return to the safe house. That really is the best place for you now. The new Farm should be functional within a week, and most likely we will bring you there to complete your training, although..."(here, her voice catches as she remembers again that Cephas is gone). "Go, with the gods' favor and protection, listen to Spar, watch for anyone that might be specifically targeting you or the DCL through you, and become the best agents you can. We need you now more than ever."
Akyan listens to Aldara. He still hasn't shaken off the shock of what has transpired, so he remains silent. When Breezy finishes talking, he simply nods.
