(Just so you know, Kyrsa wasn't trying to sell you out. She already told Breezy about what happened, but wants the team to take responsibility as a whole. However, if Jhaarteal still wants to confess, thats his choice.)

((I had not seen your full reveal and had intended to have Jhaartael confess when he realized they were headed back to town. In this instance, I imagine Jhaartael confesses and speaks with Breezy later, independently, not knowing of Krysa's declaration.))
Spar answers Tamryn, "No, lad, it just happened a few hours ago. Of course it will be investigated, but right now we are still in crisis mode. Despite appearances, Percy is actually quite good at his job, and he'll get to the bottom of it, and we'll be better prepared next time. You ask good questions, you've got the skills to become a good agent. But right now, let's let everyone do their jobs, and get you fully trained. Not meaning to be offensive here, but until we're sure you all can handle yourselves, you are a liability. Meaning we have to worry about protecting you. It won't be long before you will be an asset instead, but you're not there yet."
Breezy sighs, and replies to Kyrsa and Jhaartael, "I know you meant no harm and I blame myself and the other leaders for not stressing the point of security enough. We will keep Aldara out of the loop for now, but Percy, as our head of security will have to be informed. And I'm 99% sure he is going to insist that we do a selective memory wipe on this person. Not so much for our protection, as we are now abandoning that location, but for the protection of Digby's Gulch. That sheriff could accidentally let something slip years from now, and if it made it to the wrong ears, they could all be killed or tortured for information about us.
"Maybe you could talk to the sheriff and convince him to submit to the wipe willingly, but that seems unlikely. We are really seeking to just erase his memories of your team, or at least of that conversation, but sometimes when we do it involuntarily, it is less precise and larger chunks are lost. Tragic, but better than the whole village being destroyed. If you think of a plan to convince him to submit, let me know, otherwise I want you all to stay away from the village and we'll send in a team to perform the wipe.
"For now, our story as we enter the village is that we lived on a communal farm and lightning strikes caused a barn fire which spread."
“I will speak to him,” Kyrsa says. “Even if he isn’t to happy about the memory wipe, it is his right to know. I think he will be willing to do what is necessary to protect the town.”
At this point, Akyan will approach Kyrsa, Jhaartael, and Breezy and explain what he and Lyndaran have been talking about. "Just a suggestion. We just thought it might be a good idea to let the sheriff know we are coming. Also, if that is our cover plan, should we put on disguises? I don't know how many people will recognize us, but it might be a bit suspicious if we just show up again with a bunch of wounded right after we left a party."
Mina continues along with the party. Not having had much interaction with the sheriff she does not offer to go on ahead. As Akyan talks about disguises though, "That might not be a bad idea - though not sure how to disguise this group, we stand out pretty bad in that town."
(OK, so what's the plan? Disguises? Is someone going to try to convince Tymothy? something different? If you do want to approach the sheriff, Breezy asked to approve your plan first)
(Nice! It's helpful to be able to put faces to the names. :) )
(I think what the plan was was that Lyndaran and Kyrsa were going to scout ahead, and Kyrsa was going to talk to the sheriff. Not sure on disguises yet.)
Kyrsa nods to Mina, "I agree, and I don't like the idea of having to rely on magical disguises since that might limit our time. Perhaps it would be best to simply keep our faces hidden as best we can. It's not ideal, but I do want the sheriff to be able to recognize me. Maybe everyone except for Lyndaran and I should keep hidden for now, just try to blend in with the rest of our people for as long as we are in the town--at least while we are around people who might remember us." She looks to the others for thoughts.
Akyan nods to Kyrsa, "Yes, that is what we were thinking. Though to Mina's point, I'm not sure how we will disguise the rest of us either. I wish we could have at least gotten you all a change of cloths, that would have helped a lot." He is very glad he chose to dress simply, he would have hated to be stuck in those cloths, "Lyndaran won't be as recognizable, he didn't draw much attention to himself at the party, but Kyrsa..." He looks at her, "I think your right. I think just keeping your faces hidden is the best we can do right now. Unless someone else has an idea?"
As the sun rises, the caravan comes to the outskirts of town. "I was planning on using the abandoned building we teleported you into," says Breezy, "just as a place to rest, and then we'll finish the evacuation this evening once everyone has had a chance to recover. Are you going to seek out the sheriff, or should I have Duncan take one of his teammates and just take care of the problem? I know that sounds harsh, but sometimes it's best to not get too attached because these things come up more often than you might think."
Akyan listens to Breezy but says nothing yet. He agrees with Breezy, it is best not to get attached, but he wants to let those who spoke to the Sheriff think about it before he takes sides.
Kyrsa looks to Mina, "Since the Sheriff knows the name Circle of Light, and that we are associated with it, it is a potential danger to both us and Digby's Gulch. As much as I would like to explain the situation to Tymothy, and hopefully get him to agree to a memory wipe, I don't know if it is worth making a problem. It might be easier, and better for all of us, if Duncan takes care of it. Though..." She turns to Breezy, "Would it make it easier for Duncan if we got Tymothy to agree? Do you think it is worth it?"
Breezy listens to the group discuss the issue. To Mina she says, "By 'take care of the problem' I mean an involuntary removal of some of his memories. He likely will be kept asleep through magic and restrained during the procedure, but should not remember any of that when it is over. He will not remember any of you, either, or any conversations you had with him."
Turning to Kyrsa, she replies, "Yes, it would be easier for Duncan, but he has done this before, both ways. If I were in the sheriff's shoes, I can't really see myself trusting total strangers to erase some of my memories, so I'd be extremely surprised if he agreed to the plan, and then he would likely fight us, and the whole thing would be worse. This way we just cast a nice sleep spell on him, and when he wakes up it's all over. Hopefully not too many of his other memories will be damaged, but it really just depends on how much his subconscious mind fights back."
Kyrsa nods in understanding, "Yes, I assumed as much, but I thought I would ask anyways. Let Duncan take care of it then, I'd rather not make this any more complicated then necessary."
