Lyndaran, with his shortsword in his hand nods to Kyrsa and gets ready to finish the dragonborn in case she decides to leave this world earlier by screaming.
The tiefling's look of boredom fades, and his eyes narrow as your tirade continues. He says nothing, although the grip on his walking stick may have tightened. Fatima gasps and Annika subtly reaches for her artificer's pouch once again. As you bid farewell to the girl, she replies, "... Thank you, Gorondarel. I will remember you." The guards at the door start to block your exit but Torelli waves them off and they move away, and escort you outside the building, Annika following close behind.
Outside the courtyard gates, the slaver wagon with its horses still hitched awaits you. The current time for you is about 8:30 AM.
Akyan does see one other door on this level, to his left.
The dragonborn, still clearly frightened, whispers hoarsely to Kyrsa, "Well, Grignar is our leader, but it seems he is in league with you," she inclines her head toward the still-disguised Akyan out on the landing. "Above him is Joaquin, but he is back at headquarters, over by the docks. On Seabreeze Lane. That's all I know about that. I am called Zenia. Besides me and Grignar there's Ovni, Neero, and Marcus here..... Listen, even if you leave us alive, Joaquin will have us all killed when he finds out you got the jump on us. What gang do you work for? Can I join up with you? My career with the Serpents has come to an abrupt end, it seems, and I'd really love to not be fed to the sharks."
(Current time for the rest of you still around 6 AM).
Your search reveals nothing unusual. Annika climbs up along with you and you begin to head southward again. What sort of place are you looking for? And what part of town? Currently you're in a fairly well-to-do section. Do you want to try to leave it near here, or in a market district, or in the slums, or near the guilds, the docks, the slave market, outside the walls...
Kyrsa relays to Akyan what the Dragonborn said, all the while keeping a contemplative look on her face. After Lyndaran is done with his questions, Kyrsa crosses her arms, "I see. Perhaps we will pay him a visit next. Better to kill the shark then to let it keep swimming, regardless of who it intends to devour next." She gives Zenia a hard look, "And why would we trust the likes of you to join us? You chose to work under this Joaquin, knowing full well the risk. You show no loyalty to him, which means that you will show little loyalty to us." She pauses, glancing at the door where Akyan and Jhaarteal had gone, "Still, your help might be welcome in getting rid of Joaquin. We will see what the rest of my comrades have to say about this."
She has no intention of letting this low life join them, but perhaps she could be useful in this endeavor--even if it she is only used as a decoy.
To Akyan she says, "I think you and Jhaarteal would be better off coming back. If she is telling the truth about the half-orc, there is no need for us to risk further exploration. We may have a new target...if we can take out Joaquin, we cut the head off of the beast."
Akyan sighs, "Well, this might not be all that bad. If she is loyal to this Grignar. Perhaps we can use that to our advantage. She want's to join our gang? Maybe she should find out we aren't working for any gang she knows of. We could simply tell her we are mercenaries tasked with ending slavery. Perhaps we could recruit her to do the same. Have her join a different gang and give us information whenever we need it. If this sounds like something you want to try. I'll come back in there and explain it to her myself. She might react better to a familiar face."
Akyan relays this information to Jhaartael as well.
Jhaartael, receives the information from Akyan and mentally replies, "I shall wait here, hidden and observe these three. Decide what we are to do with the dragonborn. Ask her if she thinks these three would join as well. Beyond that, I shall await your summons."
Jhaartael descends the stairs, as inaudible as he is invisible. The bottom floor of the warehouse is all one great room, 80 feet x 80 feet. One corner of the room is a cage with iron bars, 30 x 30 feet, with 8 filthy mattresses on the floor. In the opposite corner is a wood-burning stove, and near it a round table 4 feet in diameter, around which are four chairs. Three of these are occupied with, respectively, a blue male dragonborn, a male human of pale complexion, and a dark-skinned male dwarf, or perhaps a duergar. They are currently arguing over the rules for three-dragon ante.
Zenia answers Lyndaran, "We were waiting on a new shipment of slaves. They weren't for the regular market; Joaquin has a special auction he runs for some rich bastards in the aristocracy."
In reply to Kyrsa, the dragonbornshrugs as best she can in her bound condition and says, "Loyalty's all well and good, but bein' alive is better. The way I see it, I can be a dead Serpent or a living.... what gang are y'all with? As for trust, you can trust that I'll act in my own self-interest, like most folks do. If you offer me a way to escape death and perhaps make a little coin, you can trust I'll choose that over the alternative."
Jhaartael mentally describes the intended holding cell for the slaves to Akyan, "The three playing cards down here are right next to a large cage with squalid mattresses lining it. They sure know what they are expecting delivered."
Tamryn fairly easily spots a pair of rogues tailing them, a tattooed male halfling in some filthy rags, and a human girl in leather armor. As he mentions this to Annika, she suggests, "We know the addresses where the deliveries were supposed to happen. We can head there, the spies will report that we went to a Serpent den, and maybe we will find our friends there."
Kyrsa responds to Akyan, "I don't think she is loyal to anyone, but she might trust Grignar more then any of us, so its worth a shot. Come on back in and tell her."
She says to Zenia, smiling slightly, "I'd expect no less. Lets see what we can do here... I'll let Grignar explain to you who we are, perhaps he can give us some insight as to how useful you can be to us." She turns to the door, expecting to see Akyan enter.
Akyan walks back into the room and stands in front of the dragonborn. Crossing his arms, "The truth is we aren't part of any particular gang. We are mercenaries tasked with ending the slave trade. We infiltrate gangs and other organizations, gather information until we think they have gone to far, then strike them where it hurts. I know you like your coin, and so do I. This job let's me keep what I make from being part of the gang and a little bit more from selling their information and taking out targets."
He pauses for a moment letting his words sink in while at the same time responding to Jhaartael. "Alright then. I'm making up a story at the moment. We are a group of mercenaries that are being paid to infiltrate gangs and end slavery. I'm going to try to get this dragonborn to go down there and convince those men to leave so we don't have to worry about them when we hit the leader."
Once again addressing the dragonborn. "I don't care whether or not you want to work as a mercenary or just find another gang. It's not my problem. But, i can offer you this. Get yourself, and your friends downstairs out of here and you'll get out with a little coin. You'll get a little more coin if you help us take him out. I'll be a lot less suspicious if i have my normal gang behind me. Perhaps my employer will even consider hiring you if you do well. Or, you can sit up here quietly and you'll stay alive...For now anyways. So, what will it be."
As he waits for an answer, he tells Kyrsa, "We really don't want her to find the body. It would be best if we got her out of here while she still thinks I'm Grignar."
Kyrsa responds to Akyan mentally, "I think we should just tell them to get out. If they want to help us take out this guy, great, if not, they should get lost. Though I don't really want to draw to much attention to ourselves, I am tempted to light this place on fire before we leave. Then they won't be able to find Grignar's body. The only reason I'm even considering not wiping them all out is because they might be helpful in getting close to this Joaquin character."
Or, you can sit up here quietly and you'll stay alive...For now anyways. So, what will it be."
Zenia is silent for a few moments, processing what Akyan has said. "Grig... let me get this straight. You are getting paid by somebody to infiltrate the Serpents and sabotage the trade in slaves?..... Have you gone stark raving mad? Just last week you were telling us how you hoped to get promoted and buy a few girls of your own... I guess that was all part of the act, eh? Well, you were definitely convincing. Look, I can understand wanting to get out, this line of work is dangerous. But you know that once you're in, there's no leaving, right? The Serpents will hunt you down unless you have someone else protecting you. I don't think I or the others can join you without some serious muscle backing you up.... No offense." This last comment is directed at Kyrsa and Lyndaran. "I'll just take whatever coin you're offering and skip town. I imagine the others will do the same."
Tamryn says to Annika, "showing up empty-handed to a Serpent warehouse sounds like a fine way to blow our cover. When the Serpents attack us for not actually being Serpents and also having no cargo, those two might become suspicious. Do you think you could lose them if we went someplace relatively crowded? It is best if they don't follow us any further."
Kyrsa cracks a smile, "You really think this is all of us?" Her smile fades into a flat stare, "Coin? You really think we are going to pay you to 'skip town'? No, there is no coin involved in this agreement unless you have something to offer us in return. Have you forgotten already that you are our prisoner?" Her eyes flick to where Lyndaran stands behind Zenia, "You should consider it payment enough that we are letting you live."
"For now," she adds mentally.
To Akyan she says, "If this lot won't help us, we should kill this one and head out. She's seen our faces, so we don't want her hanging around or possibly going to her superiors." Her eyes flash--blazing like two suns--as if she would burn the place down with her gaze.

He then climbs up and encourages Annika to climb up with him. Once she does, he will ride off, looking for a place to hide it.

If she answers truthfully he follows
"Do you know who was to buy the slaves? Or they were meant for the market?"
