Climbing back up the ladder, you confirm your suspicions. Based on the size of the room and the location of the staircase, that can only be a hidden door between the larger downstairs room and the entry hallway.
As you consider your next move, Finn's cat prances up the staircase. "Got you, you bugger," sneers the guard, who lunges at Misses Binklesworth. A chase ensues.
As if that wasn't enough, there is a sudden, loud thud and the whole building shakes. From the upstairs hallway, an unseen person grunts out, "... the hells was that?"
Out in the Street:
Jirel gives Jararaka an alley-oop and the lizardwoman sails through the air with the greatest of ease. As she approaches the exterior wall of the second floor of the flophouse, she notices that there are no true windows up here... just blocks with thin ventilation slits to allow a little breeze and light through. She impacts the side of the second floor with a crash that visibly shakes the building.
[Need an athletics roll from Jararaka if she wants to sink her claws in and hang onto the side of the building, otherwise she can drop back down to the street.]
Finn, as you watch this, you get a quick mental note from Misses Binklesworth that there is no sign of Yeshil, something just shook the building, and she [Misses Binklesworth] is currently being chased through a dining room with a butcher's knife.

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
Jararaka digs her claws into the side of the building... but her grip is not quite enough stay put. Instead, she slowly slides down the exterior wall of the flophouse, her claws leaving deep gouges and curled bits of wood shavings behind. As she tries to peek in through the ventilation slits, she gets a brief glimpse of an upstairs hallway.
The two Flaming Fist soldiers look furious but also hesitate further. Their expressions suggest they have no idea what to do and they look nervous as all Nine Hells. Meanwhile, there are now ten onlookers. Some are gawking at the fight, while most just want to get down the street but don't want to walk into something that will get them killed.
Finn, without looking, you get a message from MBotTB that she is approaching the street exit again on the first floor hall, but that the guard has ceased his pursuit of her at the bottom of the stairs.
Tylaerys, as you maintain your concentration on the spell you cast on Yeshil and watch from afar, you notice that there are two more Flaming Fist soldiers approaching from the east (off-map). They are still a block away, but they have noticed the gathering crowd and are now moving in this direction.
Inside:
Yeshil:
The cat does a loop around the dining hall and then darts down the stairs, with the guard in pursuit, brandishing his knife.
Another man, likely the voice you just heard, pokes his head in from the hallway, looks alarmed that he can't see the guard anywhere, and then disappears back into the hall.
Alone in the room (for the moment) you check the door near the stove and find it unlocked. Slipping inside and closing it again behind you, you find yourself inside a dark pantry. Stale bread sits in a bin on one wall, while jars of various pickled fruits and vegetables sit on another shelf. There are also shelves full of pots and baking tins. An empty wine barrel sits on the floor.
There is the door you came in through, and another door to the south, both closed.

(Yeshil will keep the entry door open for a moment longer, in case she needs to leave in a hurry)
Yeshil starts to think a bit more about the process of opening doors in an inhabited building while invisible, and changes her tactic for the next door to the south. Instead of opening it slightly to peek inside, she will instead simply swing it wide open and stand back until she can see what's inside. She figures a door opening like so will be just as noticeable but more spooky. And she is willing to risk it on a door that adjoins a pantry, with an open escape route behind her...

For now, hoping to buy some time for Yeshil and the others, the young blonde Half-Elf uses her sorcerous powers to create the distracting sound of clamour coming from the street to the north out of sight from the Flaming Fists.

Finn Deception: 7+7 for 14-more or less the same so *shrug*
The guard by the stairs looks at Finn for a long moment. Then he slowly backpedals up the stairs. "Get out of here," he says menacingly, "and see to that cat of yours."
On the Street:
The two nearby Flaming Fist soldiers look at the gathering crowd, look at each other, and then advance on Jararaka and Jirel. "Last warning, ladies. You're disturbing the peace. Disperse now or you'll be spending the night in the hold at Wyrm's Rock."
Further away, Tylaerys sees the other two approaching soldiers turn and look down an adjoining street. They pause, and then hurry in that direction.
Second Floor:
Yeshil:
You swing this door open and see another hallway. It adjoins the same hall you saw from the kitchen.
There are two doorways on the opposite wall.
At the intersection of halls, by the kitchen door, you see a figure in cultist robes, he is looking away from you, around the corner. "Hey," he calls out. "Something's going on. Everybody, get up and get out here."
You hear a bed creaking and stirring behind one of the doors across from you.

"Hey, wait! Wait!" Finn calls out while hurrying after the guard. "I need to thank you for looking after Kitty-kins!! Here, let me give you a little something..."
Finn chases after the guard while trying not to look like she's chasing. She's playing the role of relieved mommy who just MUST give the person who rescued her little precious a reward... She's loud and obvious and figures any attention she draws to herself can only help Yeshil... She'll even climb up the ladder but then be hesitant to go much further than that, wanting a route to retreat if necessary.
Yeshil ducks back into the pantry room, pushing the door fully open first (so it doesn't impinge on the door opposite). She doesn't expect anyone to traverse the pantry, but presses herself against the shelves just in case, ready to come out and investigate the rooms across the hall once the occupants start to move out.

Just a scuffle, me an' m'buddy here, sometimes you get worked up but it's not that serious."
She cranes her head around and calls out to the 10 or so people around, "sorry folks, carry on!" And turns back to the Flaming Fists, "so uh, looks like I made a mess of that wall there, you good guards know the owners of that building? Love ta contribute a few coin to fix the mess, y'know?"

Finn
"Nah..." says the guard, as Finn pursues him as far as the top of the stairs. He turns, facing her in the kitchen, still brandishing the knife. "This is entirely too squirrelly." He hollers toward the ladder, "Up and out... we have company!"
The he flips the knife from hand to hand, readying himself in case of Finn's next move.

Yeshil hears shouting from the kitchen. All the activity in the hallway seems to increase.
She uses her mage hand to fling open the door directly across from her. It opens onto a small bedroom. A man is throwing on robes and grabbing a backpack. He looks up in confusion and surprise at the suddenly opened door. Then you open the next door, revealing a dark, empty room with some clothes and other belongings inside. At that moment, your mage hand winks out of existence. [Just realizing you would have had to have cast this before entering the building, or your invisibility would have ended (upon casting the spell). And I would say you have been inside and invisible for at a minimum of a minute at this point.]
