“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Tomas looks at the group and tells you all. I am not sure how many they have as they come and go a lot doing patrols around the area. They have Orcs, Goblins, Worgs and I have seen a couple shamans of both Orc and goblin nature They all seem to be lead by some Hobgoblins and may have some Bugbears but I am not sure. Those I have seen are not their leader or leaders. IF the leader or leaders are in the cave system I can not be sure. Anyone unlucky enough to enter that cave system as prisoners do not come out alive as I fear they are food besides the beasts they drag down there. I know the dront of the cave has some fortifications the orcs have placed since arriving. During the night we scouted and have seen at least 16 creatures behind the fortification. The main number is of Worg riders in which we can provide a nice diversion for you. Since the Worgs and us cat people have a nasty habit of being on each others nerves we will draw off the Worgs with thier riders. That will leave you with six Orcs that we are sure you can take care of as you seemed to do with that beast. Once we get the worgs away we estimate you will have but 30 minutes before those inside know of what has occurred at the mouth to bring reinforcements. The worgs and thier riders will not make it back to bother you from behind rest assured on that. Just let us know when you are ready to proceed.
Looking at his new companions J'nah was worried about the unknown. Sure these men had proven their prowess in battle to a certain extent but they were all still new to this world and struggling to understand how their arrival fits into all this. Speaking only to his companions, "Do you suppose it was the goddess that brought us here? It's been an intense few weeks but the question of why we're here still lingers in my head."
it’s very possible-The Gods will and ways are not always known or straight forward. We are indeed as-diverse-a group as has been thrown together since the last War of The Gods, and there seems to be a bit more tolerance and cooperation between them. But no matter-I for one will do my best to right wrongs and stop evil when and where I can. Vee stated softly but firmly to the group before finding a spot to settle and meditate.
"Hey, I'm not against taking out more of the same, especially when we have less surprises in store when we go for it!" Festoon adds. "Given prep time, we can give THEM a surprise!"

A Tabaxi named Maelyrra shows Millwater a unique moss with pretty purple flowers called Kelseya moss that only grows in the cracks of mountains while traveling. Harvesting as much as he could find, he has enough for dosing 5 meals.
Millwater gets busy using up his garlic and onion stores as well as his herbs and spices. Making an antibiotic relish to use as a base for the other dishes. Boiling water for tea, he digs out some of Sorrow's iron rations and prepares a very hot and spicy onion relish pulled pork sandwich for Sorrow to eat before combat.
"Hopefully that sandwich should put some fire in your belly!" Millwater says to Sorrow "I have extracted the oils from the spice, gonna burn hotter coming up after mixing with the acid in your stomach." Handing her a small bottle of milk of magnesia for after. "Yeah, It's gonna burn!"
Millwater serves up everyone holding back the 5 entries and fire sandwich back til we begin the raid.
"I've prepared what I thought would help us out, garlic and onions chutney to flood and thicken our blood. Invigorate our digestive system to draw out moisture. There is a risk taking the Kelseya moss, but it will allow the blood to clot quickly. Normally this would happen in the body, it is a poison after all."

5 Meals that provide Temporary 20HP (10 possible side effects) Poisonous if more than 1 consumed. This is a poison! Carefully prepared(no flame, fermented 4hrs)
Many preparations are made and Tomas sets out with his people. Before he leaves he shows you a trail that will lead you down and to the left of the opening allowing you to have the element of surprise on those left after Tomas and his crew draw some off. He reminds you of the time frame once he get them to chase him. Meanwhile Millwater prepares a meal for all. He also prepares a small meal that while poisonous could provide you with some temp HP and possible side effects. (I will need to know who will eat these prepared snacks.) Once all of that is done your group heads down the indicated trail. Soon you find yourself in a small hidden spot just past the mouth of the cave. You can see a clear path before you that will put you behind the fortifications that were made. In fact you can see two Orcs, ten Goblin Worg Riders, a couple bugbears and four other goblins supervised by a Hobgoblin. You are less than 40 feet away from them. Soon you hear a commotion from in front of the fortification. You can not see what is going on and you can see if you try to peek over your chance of being seen is very high so you do not risk it. The Hobgoblin screams at the Worg Riders who did not need any orders as the Worgs themselves were already moving. All ten of them disappear from the fortifications. The others draw their bows and start shooting at what you know to be Tomas and his drew. A few arrows are returned and one Goblin is killed. Soon the exchange ofr arrows is over and you hear the battle moving away from the cave. You can see the others looking intently at the retreating battle.
If you attack now you all have advantage. I need to know who is eating the possible poisonous snack and actions you wish to take now
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Festoon saves the sandwich until they are near the lair of the bad guys, then makes a show of savouring every bite as he feels the energy surge through him! After taking the time at that point to devour the special sandwich, he gulps it down and a moment afterwards looks very green and bends over to partially return the sandwich, quietly puking up a messy blob. Bending up after a moment, he wipes his mouth with some plant broadleaf and whispers "That wasn't as good as I was hoping"
Using his Silent Image he creates a copy of the landscape around the groups proposed attack starting location, whispering "Now they can't see where it's coming from, if you hide within the area." He then moves up into the illusioned area, get's behind a rock or tree, and takes aim at the Hobgoblin, knowing that silencing a leader's voice will send disarray into the troops.

Vee shoulders his Xbow, sights on the left side bugbear and whispers to Sorrow I have long-You have short. He nods once as he sees Sorrow draw her javelin, exhales softly as he sights his chosen target and lets fly.
Sorrow scarfs her sandwich, managing to keep it where it belongs despite the slight burp of flame that escapes. She nods upon hearing Vee select his target, then unclips a javelin. She growls slightly to fuel her anger, drawing it to her like a shield. As Vee fires she launches the javelin at her target, growling louder as she leaves the security of the illusion and drawing her axe as she races forward towards the guards.
"Normally I wouldn't serve poison, but sometimes a quicksilver cleansing purge is just what you need. It will thicken your blood and keep you from bleeding out." He says trying to convince his companions to eat up, scarfing one down.

With his claws extended, he joins Sorrow's right flank to keep clear of her battleaxe. "I didn't make something for the pain because we needed clear heads, THIS IS GONNA HURT!" Millwater warns Sorrow.
Recognizing Festoon's ploy, J'nah moves for the cover of the illusion. Seeing Goblins, Orcs and Bugbears remaining, J'nah reasoning he should try and thin out the numbers thinks that the Goblins are too easy and not to be prioritized for this opportunity and that the Bugbears are too tough to take out in one shot leaving the Orcs. Fast and Strong, they gave us a lot of trouble recently. Taking aim, he casts Hunter's Mark on the first Orc from cover and distance before loosing two arrows.
Currently equipped Shortbow. AC: 16, HP: 41/41. I was going to say no to the "treat" then I remembered J'nah is a halfling and basically has an iron stomach (Poison resistance), he'd eat it :P
J'nah takes aim and fires two shots at one of the orcs. The first shot misses but the second shot hits it for some damage. Sorrow Tosses a javelin at one of the bugbears hitting it for some damage. Mouser shots at the Hobgoblin hoping to take out the leader of this small group With a well placed arrow he hits the Hobgoblin in an eye killing the leader of this group. Veeshal shoots the other Bugbear hitting it for some damage. Millwater throws a couple shurikins at a goblin hitting it with both for some damage. Tail-feathers draws her scimitar ready for the charge into the group to take control of the cave entrance.
This ends the surprise round. I will need everyone's action for the first round. Are you going to charge into melee or shoot at them again. Mind you will not get advantage this round as they now know where you are exactly. I have Tail-feathers action
Sorrow, getting a closer view of the opponents, changes her rush from the bugbear to the closest Orc and screaming at them in what you can tell is Orcish-just not what she said. Knowing her, you can only imagine…She points at the other Orc as she preps her attack.
In her haste to change her target she failed to notice the incapacitated Tabaxi down on all fours crapping his life out. Stepping straight into this goop, she stumbles and fails and the axe slips from her fingers (it’s obvious it’s a slip not a drop or swap) as she makes her swing at her opponent. With the loss of her greataxe, she drops a hand down to her weapons belt to unclip a hand axe.
With his gut audibly grumbling he struggles to keep pace with Sorrow. Then struggling out of his onesie, he loses the battle. The mess oozing out his collars, he gives up and blocks Sorrow's flank. With a queasy whisper "I guess it could be worse!" (20HP is 20HP)
Millwater grabs his stomach again, the mess coming out all his collars this time. His beautiful golden yellow onesie turning doo doo brown. Too weak and nauseous to fight, he stays by Sorrow's side kicking and flinging poop to aggravate his enemies.
