"If nobody has any alternatives to offer," concludes Vlad's cold voice, "then we could go immediately to Urwin Martikov, at the Blue Water Inn. Besides, since we'll be working for him, maybe he'll do us the courtesy of letting us stay overnight in his inn even if we can't pay for it. Once lodgings are obtained, those who wish can also go to the Wolf's Head Jamboree hosted by our jovial Burgermeister and come back later".
And Eithne, if no one objects, gets up and starts leading the group there...
Chara is in agreement with Lucian and Eithne that there isn't much else to discuss. She puts away her puppet and does her best to stay out of Cole's dust cloud.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
After saying his goodbyes to Blinsky and Piccolo, Bran gathers the writing material that Blinsky has kindly provided him with and gets ready to follow everyone.
As they are going to be walking the city and meeting who knows who along the way, he keeps his lute somewhat concealed and doesn't carry it at plain sight. Just in case.
You all stand up and Blinsky breaks the circle. Piccolo screeches loudly and hops back up onto his shoulder. You return to the front of the store and make your way to the street. Night has fallen, but the streets are lit with torches on poles, each with a wolf's bloody head attached to the top. You see people slowly marching through the streets, headed for the town square and the mandatory celebration.
You are going against the flow, heading toward the Blue Water Inn. As you do, a group of town guards stop your group (Lucian doesn't know any of them). The sergeant asks, "Where are you going? Don't you know the festival is happening soon?"

"Pardon us, officer, we left our festival clothing back at the Inn, we were just going to retrieve it and then we'll be along presently," says Nikolai, soothingly.
- Exactly, we don't want to miss any of it. It is "the greatest celebration of the year", after all!- Bran adds with a slight smile, quoting the jamboree signs and backing Nikolai.
"Just because it's about to start you shouldn't hold us back, officer!" Eithne exclaims, indignantly "As my friends just told you, we're in a hurry to get our festival clothing back so we can go right back to participate! If you knew how far we've come to get here tonight! Don't make us miss the start! All will be well!"
(OOC: enough, I hope, to give advantage to Nikolai's Deception check? And Rob, please, put in some effort and roll >5 this time, will you?)
Lucian does his best not to look at the severed wolf's heads, silently wondering if they should keep the wolf pup's hidden. It wasn't as if he hadn't seen something similar before, but there was just something about seeing so many of the wolf's heads skewered on those polls that bothered him. It didn't help that the experience with the wolf pack was still fresh in his mind--which left him wondering why he found the dead wolves so unsettling.
He was so caught up in staring at the heads and glancing down to make sure that Chara and Eithne still had their pups close that it takes him a few moments to register what is going on. Realizing he doesn't know these guards, he stays at the back of the party with Chara and lets Nikolai and the others do the talking. To be completely honest, the festival is the last place he would like to go. Not just because of the...bloody heads, but because he isn't exactly fond of large groups. Sure, it made it easier to blend in at times, but there were also just...way to many opportunities for things to go wrong. He'll go if everyone else wants to. Who knows, it might actually be fun since he'd be with people he knows--such an unfamiliar feeling. Still, he'd never go alone.
Lenn follows the others, concerned of what Lucian's could be feeling with all those wolves heads, and what could happen if someone take notice of the pup.
He walks in silence, following the others, his presence looming behind them, with the hood over his head and trying to ignore the smell of so much people together.
The sergeant considers Nikolai, Bran, and Eithne's explanations. He nods and motions for the men to allow you to pass. He says, "Hurry and get dressed. I'll be looking for you at the festival." The way is clearing out.

- Of course. Thank you, officer - Bran nods with is head as he begins to move away from him and his men.

When the group is already a few paces away and safe from the guards hearing he says:
- He's bluffing right? I mean, how possible it is that they dedicate their working hours to look for us with all the townsfolk around. Specially with everyone disguised? We are not all that easy to distinguish in this jamboree right?
- Then I hope our friend at the Inn has something "disguisable" to spare, I at least don't have the ability to do that magically... - the bard says, remembering when Pom offered to teach him a spell to disguise himself. "Whatever for?", he had thought at the moment, "I don't think I'll ever use that..."

And Eithne, if no one objects, gets up and starts leading the group there...
Cole trails behind her in a very slow cloud of dust, plucking a tune on his crossbow string.
These words are smaller than the other ones.

Chara is just going to stay near the back of the group and hope that the officers assume she's in some kind of costume for the festival.
