"It wasn't a bad idea, Khessa, that of hunting ants..." observes Buppido, while pointing his crossbow at the next target (gnoll F)"Why didn't you come up with it sooner? We could have done it ourselves, instead of meddling in the affairs of these half-hyenas!"
Katryl eyes the narrow passage from the corner of her eye but continues to focus on the fighting, firing her shortbow at the Gnoll E. (or whichever is up still) (Shortbow Attack: 12 Damage: 7
Eldeth continues with her longbow to attack Gnoll E. (or whichever is still up) (Longbow Attack: 16 Damage: 6) (Longbow Attack: 23 Damage: 4)

Ebzer'srage once again allows him to shrug off some of the damage.
Whirling on Gnoll H, he counterattacks with a vicious swipe at the monster's knees. If he connects, the spectral ancestors will now focus on this opponent.
While raging, the first creature you hit with an attack on your turn has disadvantage on any attack that isn't against you, and when the target hits a creature other than you, that creature has resistance to the damage dealt by the attack
Greataxe Attack: 23 Damage: 9slashing.
------------
Silas will focus his divine energy and send another 1st-level guiding bolt at Gnoll G.
The noble drow scoffs derisively as the gnoll chief succumbs to the many wound inflicted on him. Traydark then places his hex on the wounded gnoll and unleashes a purple beam of eldritch crackling force against it.
Eldritch Blast: 24 Force: 11 Necrotic: 1
Sarith then fires another bolt from his hand crossbow at the closest standing gnoll. Hand Crossbow: 24 Piercing: 3+ Drow Poison
The blast downs Gnoll E! Sarith's bolt sticks hard into Gnoll F and poisons them!
Lol! So love green numbers... Khessa targets the wounded gnoll (E) until he dies. If he is dead already at the start of Khessa's turn of if he dies to her first attack, she continues whith the nearest one (F suppose).
If possible, she tries to take position at Ebzer's side so that the both of them can block the passage (avoiding the poor dwarf to be swarmed). If passage too wide or flanks of Ebzer alrwady occupied, she simply stays near him to give him support.
With one of the gnolls down you can get to his side.

Katryl misses this time but Eldeth strikes true with both attacks!

Attack: 21 Damage: 13radiantdamage
The axe misses but Silas's bolt slams gnoll G into the ground!!!
Khessa is by no means deterred by the scratch the gnoll gave her and does not even slow her flurry of blows: "Yeenoghu is throwing a party that someone like you can't miss...that of the bloodthirsty mindless imbeciles! Get to your boss, he'll lead the way!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Katryl will continue to fire upon the remaining gnoll. (Presuming it is still alive. I'm also assuming Khessa is within 5 ft. to trigger Sneak Attack damage) (Shortbow Attack: 25 Damage: 8) + 5)
Eldeth will continue to fire as well. (Longbow Attack: 18 Damage: 10) (Longbow Attack: 11 Damage: 7)
(This is sufficient damage to down the last gnoll. Combat over for now.)
Another quick flurry of attacks from the group is easily too much for the final gnoll, who goes on a brief rampage as their life is taken, jumping out at Khessa one last time to bite her before collapsing in their own blood. (19 to hit, 4 piercing damage)
The tunnels then grow eerily quiet, ready for you to press on. You can keep walking through the main tunnel you're in now which splits down the way in about 40 feet or so, or you can slip through the short but very narrow side tunnel that Katryl was using for cover.
@DM: Just a moment... Did the gnolls had anything of value with them? And the leader... had it a better armor than the others? If yes, Khessa might want to try donning it...

The blast downs Gnoll E! Sarith's bolt sticks hard into Gnoll F and poisons them!
Hard solid swipes at Gnoll F nearly takes him down as they didn't see them coming!
With one of the gnolls down you can get to his side.
Down goes gnoll F!
Katryl misses this time but Eldeth strikes true with both attacks!
The axe misses but Silas's bolt slams gnoll G into the ground!!!
(same results)
The last gnoll squeals a horrible sounding roar and lashes out at Khessa, piercing her for 8 damange! Last one standing!
Using Shield ad reaction, Khessa could go to AC 18... is this enough to spare her the blow? Or would she get hit anyway?
She would have gotten hit anyway.
Traydark places his hex on the last gnoll and unleashes a purple beam of eldritch crackling force against it.

(OOC: The last gnoll is most likely dead by now but still...)
Buppido aims his crossbow at the last gnoll, whether still alive or dead already: "Khessa! How did he dare! I'll prevent him to do this again!"
Crossbow: 18 Damage: 7
"This will teach him!" brags Buppido, pretending to have landed the killing blow "No stinking gnoll hits Khessa and lives! Not on my watch!"

"Katryl, did ye hear somethin' in that wee tunnel? We shouldna leave any enemy behind us, to sneak up later an' slip a dagger in our backs."
Sure sure make an investigation check! :)
Katryl nods to Ebzer. "Sounded like snoring." She motions towards the narrow passage. She pauses, glancing back down the passage and listening.
