Ability Scores: STR 11, DEX 15, CON 18, INT 14, WIS 9, CHA 19 from the above rolls: [17 131814810]
Name: Zyrox Paletor
Race: Human
Class/Subclass(wondering what subclass you're planning on taking): Warlock/Pack of the Blade
Alignment: CN
Appearance: Very tall and thin; long scraggly grey hair; colorless eyes; oddly long fingers; skin a ruddy color and strangely wrinkled. He wears a weird, medallion made of some strange red metal that depicts an unidentifiable monstrosity that is eating itself - very disturbing to say the least.
Personality: Speaks in a disjointed fashion, a bit gruff at times, but cheerful for the most part. Tries to see the dark side of any brightness as he is a pessimistically optimistic cynic.
Backstory: Zyrox Paletor has been tasked by his patron in finding out everything he can about dragons, and he has been studying them for quite some time; thus, in his quest to learn about these creatures, he is, at present, a traveling adventurer looking for profitable hire to fund his rather expensive 'hobby'.
Casrian appears to be the lord of a fallen noble house that has refused to relinquish his oath of service to the Kejsare and to Santokan Empire. He arrives as quietly as he can in any town or city, and begins to plague the criminal elements there. He does not attempt to eliminate the gangs and crime rings, but to gain information, make alliances, and steer the seedy streets towards ideas of moderation, dignity, and community. However, he has not been seen in high society before and - if anyone were watching him closely - they might think he was avoiding their association.
I can edit Casrian's backstory. I think the current version represents the flavor of his character, but it doesn't need to tie him to any particular city)
Personality: Will not hesitate to steal from those he hates and give them to those in need
Backstory: He is a fresh faced adventurer who has just been released from his foster home at the age of 18. Through his travels, he realized that most adventurers went after the bigger prey, dragons and giants. However, this left the smaller prey like goblins and kobolds at times free to run amok in villages. This became his calling to help eliminate these monsters that could do more damage when left unchecked. In his travels, he came across many who needed help, and in most cases, they could not pay, but for him, that was fine. His favorite memory is when he helped an elven family escape from goblins chasing after them. The family decided to hand him a pair of boots that they said would help him in his travels.
Your character sheet is for sorcerer, fyi, rather than rogue.
I can see interaction hooks for everyone which is cool. Casrian the fallen noble avoiding aristocratic attention seems like a good option for a face/utility warlock who starts off as thinking they should serve someone high born.
Morqrin - Hexblood - Paladin (aoath of ancients) - celebrity's scion - chaotic good (sorta)
A short, barrel chested man with a youthful face, and twisting antlers emerging from his blonde hair, giving him a wild, and often exotically attractive appearance. His eyes are pale to near white, though dark around the edge of the color.
Morqrin is the son of a heroic cleric, famed for fighting against demons, dragons and undead, as well as giving of themselves to the kingdom and to their faith.
Morqrin is also the son of a hag... A union that is not public knowledge, and often disbelieved by most who hear it.
Morqrin himself is about as bitter as a man can get about his lot in life, and is determined to do something about it. He's begin this journey by dedicating himself to the destruction of evil. He would tell any lie, make any deal, so long as it progressed his goal of evil's destruction - especially hags.
He is intimately familiar with the dangers involved, and has decided to start down the first steps towards success by finding comrades of similar interests and abilities.
I can edit Casrian's backstory. I think the current version represents the flavor of his character, but it doesn't need to tie him to any particular city)
I hope our 2 PCs get selected I can see a great bond between these two potentially.

Name: Tun
Race: Variant Human
Class/Subclass Cleric (Life Domain)
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Appearance: 30'is human male, dark-haired and sullen.
Personality: depressive
Backstory: Tun was raised by his uncle, a cleric of one of the old gods. Upon reaching adulthood, he worked at an inn (fired for stealing tips), a guard for a caravansary (forced to resign after the caravan was looted by bandits), the "muscle" for a crime syndicate (fired for refusing to kill and injured mark), and a series of other jobs, all ending in disappointment. While recuperating from a chronic illness as the guest of a brothel-keeper, he experienced a vision of peace, and dedicated himself to God.
I don't have van richten's so could you please explain what hexblood gives?
You should be able to click on my sheet to see, but it's basically choose three scores to increase by 1, two proficiencies, darkvision, disguise self, hex, and a weird feature where they can give an "eerie toke" like a fingernail or something equally creepy; then they can talk back and forth with the holder for a little while OR, then can see what's around the holder for a short while.
The lore part is pretty neat. I'm sure you can Google it.
Appearance: A rough-and-tumble halfling youth with a crooked smile and forearms like tree branches. His mop of unruly brown hair constantly gets into his clear blue eyes and comes down the side of his face in thick sideburns. He always wears a red scarf wrapped around his neck, unless, of course, when it's wrapped around one of his fists.
Personality: Rowdy, fun-loving, hospitable when there's call for it
Backstory: Jimoni was born to a Pottar McGee in a quiet apple-farming village of his folk. He was a sullen youth, seeking to escape the constant oppression of his father's legacy. Known to most only as "Pottar's boy." He grew up fistfighting in the local tavern, and eventually found out he was pretty good. He kept at it until people got bored of him. Then, he decided to go out in search of adventure and gold. Planning to show everyone back home what he was really worth, this rebel without a cause rode out of home in search of anywhere he could knock heads together and get paid for it.
I'm completely willing to work with you on figuring out how his backstory ties into the larger world of Oblitus.

Sorry about all this information at a late notice; I was very disorganized while creating this thread.
Also, you may want to avoid being a drow (purely recommendation) as they are on constant surveillance by the local militia in the Empire of Santok.

Hi, I am not a chest. I deny with 100% certainty that I am a chest. I can neither confirm nor deny what I am beyond that.
I used to portray Krathian, Q'ilbrith, Jim, Tara, Turin, Nathan, Tench, Finn, Alvin, and other characters in various taverns.
I also do homebrew, check out my Spells and Magic Items
