Jada remains in the dome with Maanai and the captain. Ophelia and Firebrand however fall prone and roll out of the dome into the whipping winds! As the blue dragon flies effortlessly in the storm it doesn't seem to notice the small sand skiff become beleaguered by sand!
"We need to bail out the sand," the captain shouts to Maanai who nods.
Maanai then fashions a rope around themselves and ties it off to a railing within the domestic before exiting to aid those who fell and remove what sand they can!
Glyph only hears the storm but soon after Adhida arrives at his door.
"There's a dragon out there and sand is filling up the desk," Adhida exclaims to Glyph before turning to leave. "I don't know how to help but I think we should, " she adds turning back to the self-professed ultimate adventurer for guidance!
Glyph's eyes widen at the mention of a combination dragon-sandstorm nightmare. Leaping from the bed, he looks at Beatrix, choosing to leave the sword, and makes his way to the door, cracking it open with an apprehensive look on his face. "A dragon, did you say?"
Upon seeing the seriousness in Adhida's face, Glyph thinks of his new companions and throws the door open, not bothering to close it behind him. He mutters loudly as he skips steps up to the deck level. "We'll have to ensure that those who cannot fight, or cannot fight by range, focus on bailing out the sand. Those of us with ranged abilities can focus on keeping the beast at bay."

"Dragon! Damn that is a major complication. Alright I will try to keep it at bay" yells Jada. Energy crackles from his hand as he stands ready to protect those that are ridding the ship of the accumulated sand.
Firebrand staggers to his feet, somewhat dazed by the tumble. He shakes his head violently to clear some of the dizziness, with limited effectiveness. He notes that Jada and Glyph both seem to be preparing to fight the dragon... which the Paladin notes doesn't seem to be paying any attention to them at all for the time being.
"What are you two doing?!" the Paladin exclaims in disbelief. "That creature probably doesn't even know we exist... the last thing we need to do is draw its wrath while we battle the storm!"
Firebrand proceeds tie a rope around his midsection and hitch the other end to the most sturdy-looking object he can find and then begin bailing sand out with whatever bucket/shovel he can grab while praying silently to Bahamut that they get out of this alive.

Firebrand remains standing the sand whipping around him as Ophelia once again falls prone on to the sand heavy desk!
The winds however seem to lessen as once again Ophelia sees the streak of blue flashing above the sand skiff! As if in the eye of the gale the skiff is somewhat sheltered!
Maanai moves quickly to help Ophelia up as an eerie calm falls onto the deck.

Jada has a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach as the calm overtakes he ship. "Maybe we are just in the eye of the storm and it will pass" mutters Jada as if trying to will it to be so.
Glyph remains on his feet as the eerie calm continues. Adhida comes on deck and continues to push the sand from the vessel. Minutes seem to draw out like hours before suddenly the wind stops and the sand settles completely!
"That was....unexpected, " Adhida replies frowning as she looks over the party and then to the dome on deck. "Oh, good thinking," the mage says pointing out the dome. "So, was it the dragon you think...." she trails off as Maanai comes to her side.
"I believe this desert is full of several lifetime's worth of mysteries yet to be solved, " Maanai replies shaking sand off their hood and robes! "Everyone accounted for," they call out to the party.
