Glyph's handsome Elvish form melts away into the visage of a silver skinned changeling! He lays on the deck unmoving as Grim's ravagers await the rest of the party.
OOC forgot to roll for the crew on deck. We'll just say 1 was already murdered and thrown overboard and the other manages to ring an alarm bell near the steering wheel.
Jada please roll a perception check. You are below deck and sleeping so I will say it would take you 2 full rounds before you can get on deck.

Firebrand grunts as two more attacks glance off his heavy armor. His (very recently) sworn enemy is tougher than the Paladin had anticipated... but the unclean bastard will fall.
Firebrand rapidly strikes with his blade, first an attempt to cut Grim's legs out from under him, and a second to impale him from throat to belly. This time, the Dragonborn will go all-out with smites, smiting each time if he hits.
Firebrand lets out a roar of pain as two arrows find their mark... (he's taking a total of 23 points of damage from Ivey,18 from Thorne, reducing it by 3 per attack due to Heavy Armor Master... so 35 damage total). The other two attacks bounce off his armor.
Rather than die horribly by being turned into a pincushion, Firebrand is going to make a strategic retreat while he's still breathing (with difficulty due to an arrow lodged in his torso right between two armored plates). He's going to spend his turn making his way towards the best available shelter to recover... he takes the Dash action to make it to a place where the twins cannot hit him. As he runs, he continues to yell that the ship is under attack in case anyone is still unaware of the situation at hand.
"You have done nothing here but spread death, both to us and one of your own!"Firebrand yells as he ducks either below deck or into a cabin (whichever is closer). "Both of you should flee now if you don't want to hang for your crimes!"
Having said that, he slams the door shut and leans against a wall, each ragged breath more painful than the last.
OOC: These are magical weapons FYI; don't think damage reduction applies.
Firebrand goes below deck and sees the cousins coming out of their shared cabin and Jada to moving down the narrow hallway between the cabins to go on deck!
"What's happened," Adhida asks the Dragonborn as he runs passed them to his cabin and enters closing the door!
Maanai moves out ahead of Adhida drawing a scimitar from their robes before pushing their younger cousin inside. Maanai stops Jada and nods at the gith just as Thorn tosses off his hood appearing on the steps below deck having stalked behind the Firebrand fleeing!
"Your captain is dead. The ship is ours," Thorn says holding his crossbow in hand and standing at the base of the stairs leading below decks. "You will take us to Thonis and no one else will die," he exclaims.
The assassin aims down the hallway and will fire on the next person who moves!

OOC: Well great, Firebrand is down to 3 HP then.
"It looks like the poachers have graduated to piracy," Firebrand says tiredly to Adh as he slumps to the floor and yanks out one of the arrows with a grunt. "They have betrayed us, murdered our friend, tried to murder me, and in so doing violated the sacred Law of Hospitality. For their crimes, they must die... but I'm not in any condition to punish them rightnow..."
Firebrand takes a moment to cast Cure Wounds on himself, healing 4 HP.

Attack: 21 Damage: 10; if hits the target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 19 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If failed Jada will have the poisoned condition.

"Stay put Firebrand," Maanai shouts as they move out of the hallway pulling the door closed on Adhida who's protesting their action! "They'll pay," the warlock says as they disappear from view.
Jada uses his inborn talent and quickly cast shield onto himself when thorn let loose his attack. A shimmering blue shield surrounds Jada. The shield deflected the bolt.
Jada then moves right next to Thorn and looks to his patron the Hexblade. Surround me in illusory light so my foes will fail to strike me down. Jada cast blur onto himself
Jada's outline becomes blurry and it is hard to discern where his true features lie. Attacks against Jada is with Disadvantage.
Firebrand realizes that his attempt to heal his wounds did little... though it reduced the pain slightly. He glances at the door Adhida is currently pounding on. He can't break an Arcane Lock, and even if he could, he suspect that the woman would get herself killed like their friend Glyph did... and like the Paladin almost had. He considers his options for a moment, then he sighs and reluctantly pulls out the second arrow with a howl of pain, using his other hands to stop the bleeding, letting divine energy flow into his mangled body as he restores 15 hit points with Lay on Hands.

Thorn cries out and drops to his knees on the stairs before taking one last horror filled gasps as his very life force is leeched out of his already slender frame! Jada observes this and then hears foot falls from his prone position on the staircase on to the upper deck. Thorn's lifeless body, a husk really, lay unresponsive on the staircase leading up!
"Maanai," Adhida continues to shout. "Let me out! I can help," she bellows from behind the arcane knocked cabin door.
The young mage then trails off into Anjaran which Jada can assume is explicitives with her delivery of the words! From below the party then hears a guttural roar! The roar is so loud it's vibration carry through the ship.
Jada's up!

Jada looks at the husk of Thorn . You deserved that fate Thorn and I hope your soul ends in a very fiery place. Jada quickly stands and says "Maanai open that door. Can't you see we need everyone's help to survive. Half of the crew are dead and we may die in the next breath to what that obviously massive creature that is bellowing. It is probably the blue dragon. So please let Adiha out before we are doomed."
