Yes, you can convert the GP to 10 silver. Also, we can say that your retainers arrived early and are already waiting in their own room. The squire can use the Warrior sidekick stat block.
Everyone can take a short rest!

Rix nods. "Oh yes, Dragon's Rest is the site of many great battles between the forces of the chromatic and metallic dragons. I believe we have a map of the island in the library. I'll see if I can make a copy for you!"
The little kobold returns about an hour later after everyone has rested and produces a map of the island. It isn't incredibly detailed, but it shows the locations of several battlefields marked by a red X that Rix apparently added. Rix also helpfully added a mark showing the location of the crashed ship.
"Of course, I will have my assistant Rix lead you to your quarters," says Runara. "And thank you very much for looking into the wreckage. As far as treasure goes, anything is possible. Whatever you find is yours to keep if there be no survivors. We have no need for treasure here. We live a very simple life as you can see."
Runara signals to one of the gathered kobolds, and she steps forward. She seems a bit more serious than some of the other kobolds.
"Greetings, I'm Rix," she says, bowing a little. "I'll show you to your rooms."
As you follow the kobold, she leads you back the way you came a little ways until you come to the doors hewn into the cliffside. Inside are rooms, very simple and plain, but they include a bed with comfortable looking blankets and a washstand and basin for cleaning. Rix explains that these are guest rooms and that most of the kobolds bunk in a dormitory-style room close by.
O-o-of course, Lady Runara! M-m-m-m-m-my mentor spoke highly of you!! T-t-t-thanks for your generosity!!! I came here to m-m-move in myself! (Rix comes to them, and Tihli is nervous around her. He hesitently follows her)
Hey DM, who/what responds to this before Tihli finds his room?
Abaddon inspects the map. "Thank you, Rix, for bringing this map to us. I was wondering... what are these red marks?"
Behind him, one of his retainers is sharpening Abaddon's blade, and the other is sharpening the Ranole's blade. Ranole, Abaddon's squire, is sitting on his bed.
Before Rix leads you all away to your rooms, Lady Runara speaks to Tihli. She notices that he seems quite nervous, and she gives him a reassuring smile. "Of course you are welcome here, Tihli. We welcome anyone who is dedicated to the preservation of peace. There is nothing to fear here in Dragon's Rest. You are safe as long as you are in the cloister."
Rix points to each red mark on the map. "These are the sites of battles between the chromatic and metallic dragons. Their bones are still buried there to this day."
Seeker eyes the map, wondering if the bones or body of his supposed ancestor lie about somewhere. A small shudder wracks his body and he hopes no one notices. After hearing Lady Runara explain about the red marks, he says, "Do you know the names of any of the dragons involved in those battles," he asks.

Heh... thanks... Do you know Gorath? He spoke highly of you.... and.... how do the locals here feel about... magic?
Since Thulewyn wasn't in any real need or rest but was also in no hurry to explore quite yet, he decides to set up comfortably outside the row of room his shipmates just occupied. Remembering Orissa sudden excitement to hearing of the ship, and quickness to take the first room, Thulewyn figure if there was one among them that was going to try and bolt out of there first, it would be her. He set his hammer and pack down and lays back against them in a relaxed position, with a clear view of all the doors and the walk way they traveled to get here. Pulling the skull hat over his eyes to block the sun like he was relaxing, but more for the purpose of concealing where he was watching.
Rix shakes her head. "I haven't heard of any gem dragons, but you might find something about them in the library."
Runara smiles at Tihli. "I do indeed know Gorath. He is a very wise man. Magic? Magic has its benefits and its downsides, of course. Stormwreck Isle itself is imbued with magic as a result of the battles that took place here long ago. So if you decide to wander across the island, keep in mind that you may come across such strange magical...bursts. Sometimes they can be dangerous so please be careful."
Runara turns toward Seeker. "Stormwreck Isle is the site of battle between Sharruth, an evil red dragon and a disciple of Tiamat, and three metallic dragons, blessed by Bahamut, who imprisoned Sharruth beneath the waves. Over the years many dragons, both chromatic and metallic, have been drawn to the isle, and some have died here, leaving their bones behind. I know not all the names of these dragons unfortunately." Runara appears genuinely sorrowful as she relates this information, her expression turning a bit dreamy as if remembering years past.

"Fascinating. Do we know anything about where that battle took place, the one with Sharruth? Do you have anything in your library about that battle, or any of the others," Seeker asks?
After washing up she takes a step outside her room, looking around the hallway. She clocks Thulewyn sitting in the hallway and walks past him down the hall. With her thumbs in her waistband, she wasn't looking for any place specific, but was just exploring.
"I'm with you lass." Thulewyn says after Orissa is a few steps past him. "That shipwreck sounds like the place we ought to dive into first. The others seem to be more interested in historical sight seeing more then investigating recent events, maybe some dragon ancestral pull we don't feel. Aye but I would bet my hammer there's more to be found on a ship that recently and unexpectedly went down then there is on well picked over battlefields of old. Plus there would probably take a lot of digging to find something on those graves, and anything that's that buried wasn't ment to be found."
Thulewyn picks his skull cap up onto his head. "I believe the dining hall be that way if you're interested. I could go for good drink or ten."
"I am not thirsty..." Orrisa says at the mention of drinks. "I am just going to see where everything is so I do not get lost later. If you want, I will meet you in the dining hall in an hour."

(I'm just going to wander the halls for like an hour, get a lay for where everything is. Her eyes would be drawn to anything that looks valuable, so she might wander off course if she saw anything like that.)
Lady Runara gives Tihli a puzzled look. "No, of course not. Why would we?"
In response to Seeker's questions, she says, "The fight between Sharruth and the metallic dragons took place all over the island. We do have books about Sharruth and the battle in the library. Also, I have heard that there may be an entrance to Sharruth's tomb beneath the island, but I have not investigated, and I would suggest you avoid any such entrance if you find it. It would be very dangerous."
Rix gives anyone who is willing a small tour of the cloister. The cloister itself isn't very big so everything is pretty easy to find. The Temple of Bahamut is on the highest level and is an open air temple. Orissa isn't able to find anything of real value as it seems the residents live a very frugal, simple existence.
