Holding his enchanted staff in his left hand, Fuego casts burning hands directed at the elemental grappling him (invisible but I assume I can sense its general direction since I can feel it)
(burning hands at second level: 6firedamage in 15 foot cone, DC 13 DEX save for half damage)
Bonus action: he commands Pyroctopus to fly over and teleport him out again.
Pyroctopus turn:
Move beside Fuego, uses fiery teleportation again to carry them 15 feet south.
The spirit and each willing creature of your choice within 5 feet of it teleport up to 15 feet to unoccupied spaces you can see. Then each creature within 5 feet of the space that the spirit left must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC 13) or take 3firedamage.
(well, hopefully I used up all the 1's for a while on those damage rolls)
((I thought Fuego’s water elemental was lit up by faerie fire, giving advantage to attacks - is that incorrect, or did he lose concentration on that spell?))

(good point. CON Save for concentration check: 20 )
(Sadly, the elemental/water weird lit up by faerie fire is currently swimming in circles at the bottom of the pool, not grabbing Fuego. Also, Marnoa, bless cannot be added to damage, but it can be added to hit rolls and saving throws (unless there is yet another rule I've forgotten about (which is possible)))
Marnoafires a blast of cold blue light that penetrates the water, but misses the elemental swimming in circles at the bottom of the pool. Then Marnoareaches within himself and draws on the powers of the deep, creating a tentacle from the water itself that wraps itself around the water weird sheathed in magical flames. He sees the creature undergo a full body shudder in pain and chill.
Marnoa:
While the elemental swims around the bottom of the pool, you can clearly see that there is some sort of metallic object on the pool's floor, one that shines golden in the purple light of the faerie fire.
Andreleaps into the water and Mortimer follows him into the fray (Mortimer, I'm not clear on whether or not you are in the water, so I put you in a spot that is about 50/50). Both companions miss in their attempts to free Fuego.
Eventually, Fuegoagain turns to his searing cephalopod. The little octopus again latches onto Fuegoin the water and transports him to relative safety.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Jacks will creep forward into the chamber, but careful not to step into the water or get his clothes wet. He looks to soaked Fuego, and suggests, “Maybe we should just leave them be. They obviously don’t like when people get too close.”
He draws another arrow and aims at the visible water elemental.
At the bottom of the pool, you see what looks like a golden idol of a wombat, shrouded in purple flames.
(No hoop though)
Jacks creeps up to the water and fires his bow at the water weird circling the wombat figure below. It hits the form and the elemental appears to dissolve into the surrounding fluid. At the same time, a watery tentacle strikes out at Marnoa, but the aquatic elf is able to step out of the way.

Marnoa dives in to retrieve the golden sparkly item that he spotted, as he dives under he directs the tentacle to thrash the water elemental. As an aquatic half elf he has no problem breathing underwater, he moves to get the golden item and then swim up and out of the water on the other side, trying to avoid the watery elemental as his tentacle deals with it.
Tentacle of the Deep (with adv due to faerie fire) : Attack: 23 Damage: 9 cold damage.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
(Twombley, the water weird is not faerie fired (the one that was is dead) and, as it is invisible in water, you roll with disadvantage, so in this case you missed. Finally, please make a Perception check)
(It was, but that one died before your turn. I should have probably put up a new map. I apologize as well)
Marnoadives into the pond, swimming deep to the bottom of the pool, grabbing the little wombat idol, and swimming up to the other side of the pool, pulling himself out.
Andre, seeing that the visible monster of dead and that Marnoa has the idol on the other side of the pool, decides he's tired of fighting invisible monsters and proceeds to get out of the pool and join Marnoa to get a look at the wombat idol (taking the Disengage action).

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
If it comes round to Marnoa’s turn, he plans to take the dodge and run around the edge of the pool, leaving the room. If the water elemental appears (visible), he will direct the tentacle to attack it (readied action). Otherwise, the tentacle will just follow him.
Tentacle of the Deep (readied action, only if the elemental comes above water to attack) : Attack: 18 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.

As Mortimer starts to climb out of the pool, the water weird snakes around his legs and drags him into the deeper water, causing 15 hp of bludgeoning damage and grappling him.

Alright, I guess second roll for disadvantage goes here: Unable to parse dice roll.

Fuego will back up 10 feet southward, and have Pyroctopus do the same. "If the elemental wishes to hide in his pool, I am content to move on..."
“Agreed. Let’s get out of here first.” Jacks will disengage and move out of the chamber.
