(OOC so if I understand the Wildfire Spirit's stat block correctly, it can speak and understand speech. If this is the case, Fuego would send Pyroctopus ahead to look around the corner and repeat back. It uses flying movement, btw.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Jacks steps over the tripwire. "You're right," he drawls, a hint of a smirk on his face. "We wouldn't want to leave this little surprise behind, would we? Who knows what kind of danger we might encounter." His eyes gleam mischievously as he summons his mage hand and begins to work on disarming the trap.

Fuego says, "Hold up! I see a trap door above us, and something on the floor ahead of us that might trigger another trap. Geez, whoever made this place was paranoid..."
Andre uses Mage Hand to knock on the trap door lightly while standing off to the side so that if it pops open something won't fall right on top of him.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?

Marnoa is fine walking where he is. He starts to look at the wombat idol, showing it to everyone else.
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Anyone who is interested in the wombat statue, make a DC 12 Perception check:
It is wooden, covered in gold leaf, but weighted to seem heavier than a wooden statue would be.
When Fuego sends his wildfire spirit forward, it sees the area below:

Why yes! That is a tripwire right in front of you.

Fuego will carefully step over the trip wire and walk around the corner.
"Hey Andre, can I get a lift over the wire buddy?" Morty says, not sure he can clear the trap safely
"No problem, Morty," the giant of a Wizard says with a smile. "Hold on..."
Andre proceeds to give Morty the requested boost over the wire, before following Fuego's lead and stepping over it.

Everyone stepping over the tripwire personally, please make a DEX Check (DC 5) (Mortimer, you are good).

Marnoa follows and steps over the wire, but saying to Jacks - “Perhaps you should disarm this..”

Jacks is able to successfully disarm the trap and you all continue down the hallway.
Fuego gets to the corner and turns. He notices the following:
1. There is a trap door above him.
2. There is a pressure plate in the hallway just north of the corner/trap door.

“Well,” Jacks says casually, “We should check where the trapdoor leads to. That’s always fun.”
He checks the trapdoor to make sure if it’s not trapped, if it’s clear, he uses his mage hand to open the trapdoor.

“Everyone step back a minute…” Marnoa steps back a few steps to give some room for those working around the trap door and pressure plate.
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The trapdoor does not appear to be trapped (ironic, no?). When Jacks and Andre open it, it simply hangs open.
