Being confused as to why the others are being cautious around these stalactites (or was it stalagmites?). Mordekai opts to grasp onto one of the tallest ones on the floor and begin to move forward. He hoped to make a game of it, moving from each stone in a ‘swinging’ motion as he walked; moving in a circle with one hand grasped into the rock and then reaching for another with his free hand, hoping to repeat the process until he gets to the other side.

Water doesn’t drip up, that’s stupid.
Mordekai, you take 8 acid damage as your hand reaches out to one of the stalagmites, a burning feeling as your hand slips. I also need you to make a Dex Save.
Mordekai let’s out a seething grunt as his hand touches the wet rock, feeling the pain.
Dex Save - 17
As you grab on to the rock to glide your way through the cavern, you feel a burning sensation in your hand. As this happens, you also lose your grip on the rock as some sort of slimy material causes you to not be able to grip it. But with your monk reflexes, you manage to land with both feet still firmly on the ground.
Waving his hands to keep his balance, Mordekai eventually stops in his place, feeling the slick ground at his feet. So, don’t touch rock. Also, don’t step here, floor is slick like oiled snake. What is wrong with room? Who designed this shit?
"What are you all waiting for? Let's get out of here!" Carmen says. "I don't think there is anyway through that way. The diamonds must be through the other tunnel." She trusts what she saw through Whiskers' eyes, but there could be a hidden door...naw...they could come back if they don't find the diamond in the other tunnel. "Let's get moving!"
Carefully. Slowly. Attempting to not touch the acidic rocks (apparently). Mordekai follows suit in exiting the place. Questions on if this room was a trap that would impale unfortunate passerby’s, the added touch of acid, the apparent drips of the liquid going upwards? I think skin on hand has melted off. Uncorking the waterskin at his hip, he poured it over his hurt hand and felt what leftover acid dull, but also noticed the eaten skin. Urrrgh, that’s not walking on hot coals ugly, that’s worse.
The group heads back through the cave, feeling like this might be a dangerous dead end. You head back into the previous room where the light from Ezid's Dancing Lights bounces off the natural material in the wall and lights up the cavern. You see two tunnels. One that is where you originally came from to the west and the second is a tunnel that heads south out of this room.

Iefyr's face grows worried as they discover the acidic slime seemingly oozing from the rocks. He begins chanting lowly under his breath, his usual anxious tick, as they walk into the next room. He stops as he peers into the darkness of the only unexplored tunnel. "Guess this is our only option now." he says before slowly stalking in.
Stealth: 19
He'll walk just until he sees anything odd, if he does then he'll stop and motion to alert the group.
Carmen, who has been trying to keep track of the twists and turns of the tunnels, calls to Iefyr: "Wait! I think that is the tunnel that goes back to where we just came from. We should go straight to the first chamber." She pauses..."Unless you see any diamonds in there."
As you take a quick glance to the right and with the aid of the brightly lit room, you can see that this tunnel leads to a smaller cavity room that runs adjacent to the one you are in.
(I'm headed towards this room, which I don't think we've been through? Ostensibly it leads towards wherever the middle tunnel in the very first room goes)
As Cozubia follows the group into the next room, he begins scanning the walls and floor to see if there is any of the acid covered rocks in this room as well.

As he followed the rest of the group into the next room, his Dancing Lights still active, Ezid cast Healing Word at 2nd level on Mordekai, who look pretty beat up from their last fight, "Don't worry my Teifling friend, we haev your back if we have to fight something else on our journey".
The six of you head back through the caves navigating from the light from Ezid. Going cautiously, you make it back to the first large room you encountered. You had originally gone through the north tunnel into the shiny room. Now back in this area, you have the tunnel going straight ahead, west, and a tunnel headed south.
"My home is that tunnel to the west," Ettelet reminds the group. "Not sure what happens south and not sure about these diamonds you are looking for. But Ettelet wants his books back. It is possible that more lies in my direction. There are other tunnels beyond just the one to my home further ahead."
"Uhh, guys, this is kinda weird. Some of this water is dripping up. Maybe we should move on..." Carmen cautiously backs away toward the tunnel.
