Dark looks for another shelf to lean against the other bookshelf.  If there is anything large he can move he tries to wedge it .

Mara curses and readies her spell, the strange bracer like symbols on her arms shining as she begins to start the hand movements for one of her combat spells.

Killian getting his sight back in time to see rumble get tossed across the room, backs up to Leo in the other doorway and readies his fire bolt cantrip for the first foe who breaks through the barricaded doorway. While still holding the tome with his other hand.  

Simmeat, Darkwing, and Darnell brace the bookcase and doorway. A few seconds later there is another THUD (providing disadvantage to the check as it's now barred by three people)

 The force to the doorway manages to knock the bookcase slightly, the three of them being repelled back 10 feet (the doorway is still blocked)

 Mara's bracers illuminate as a fine protective aura emanates around her while she begins to prepare a spell in case of emergency. Killian backs away and a spark appears at the end of this fingers, ready to hurl at the opposition should it make itself available to strike, he keeps the tome tightly in his clasp.

"Somebody get.. name of that... Ohh…My back..." Rumble shakes his head a few times as he slowly starts to rise to his feet. However, he jerkily has to roll to the side or get possibly buried under his other companions. "What in the--" He shoots a glance back to the barricade, then to the fallen before with a growl turns to Mara and Killian. "For Mama's sake, would one of ya -- *huff* forget it. Miss Ori! Hold the door!" He shouts as he goes rushing to the other end of the room, nearly blasting through the first set (if it hasn't already been open), say something terse in primordial seeing the following set, and then continue on running to try and get them open next. 

Surely whatever is on the other side can be worse their current predicament...

Orianna goes to bace the door!

"This isn't working!" Simmeat yelled, pulling anyone left behind with him as he runs for the other door.

"Come on!"

Darnell draws his dagger and follows Simmeat as fast as he can.

A third THUD strikes the door as Orianna braces it alone, the rest of the group fleeing towards the other passageway.

 Orianna manages to withstand the shock of the brute strength of whatever is behind the door... for now.

In the meantime, Rumble has run off ahead to open the door, as he boots into it, the door flies open to reveal another wide open room. This one, however, has some small dim globes of light in the corner, emanating a red glow from near the ceiling (about 15 feet up). Inside the room appears to be several large stone tables in organised rows. Each table is around ten feet long and three feet wide, leaving a couple of feet between each the shorter ends and around five to six feet between the longer ends. On the far end of the room (around 60 feet away) there appears to be a series of shelves with some old clay pots still on them. The tables are bare.

"Come! Leave the other door! We'll barricade this one!" Simmeat yells to Orianna.

Killian still holding the book and standing at the door opposite the barricaded one waits until everyone is thru to the hallway following Rumble, he closes the door and runs down the hall to meet the group in the next room, closing that door behind him as well. "Orianna, Rumble are you okay?" Looking around the room he sees the red lights in the corner. "whats that?" he asked as he points to them for the group to take notice. 

Perception 17

Mara keeps herself prepared as she slowly follows after the group, giving them looks to try and tell them to notmtouch anything eith out having to speak and draw attention to herself. She looks at the door that had something banging against it, her eyes peeled on it as they moved into the other room. Her attentions does leave it for a second when Killian calls out.

(I'll give it a bit for Orianna to decide whether she is following the group or continuing to brace the first door)

Dark yells to Orianna, “come on we have a better chance together.... we can brace this other door.”

[Sorry, I may have to drop out on this one, with this new job I can barely keep up with my other post. The only reason I'm still posting on the others is because of their slow pace.]

Orianna will continue to brace the door, turning to the group with a big drunkard grin. "Don't worry, I got this door! Get going I'll catch up!"

Orianna will bite her lip to damage herself into a rage! She will continue to hold the line until the group is safe distance and the she will let go and escape!

(No worries, BeastyC, we'll put you into an 'unknown' state rather than killing you off in case you want to return once you have a handle on your new job)

The group continues on as the loud banging of whatever is at the doorway is fighting against Orianna's attempt to keep the barricade strong.

The rest of the group retreats into the dimly lit room, it's up to them if they want to use Orianna's opening to continue fleeing or search the room.

Another check if I have to roll again. Perception 13

From a quick glimpse around the room, this one isn't as dusty as the one that the group just fled from. The tables are all neatly aligned and it look like this area could perhaps have been used within the past year. Looking to the exit, it appears to be another similar door to the one just entered. As previously mentioned, there are some clay jars on the shelf, and they look like the only major feature beyond the furniture.

(If you want to investigate the area more thoroughly, I'd go for an investigation check)

Killian looks to the group, sadness as he see's he might be losing a drinking partner who is sacrificing her self so that we may charge on. "Orianna!! I'll have a drink waiting for you on the otherside:"  He yells, turning to the group "How much time do you think we have to get away from whatever that is,  Should we look in those clay jars?" He looks at the book hes holding than back at the pots, "I should use my mage hand to move them"  

Mara will stay quiet as she is single focused on trying to be prepared for whatever is trying to break the door down that Oriana had stayed behind to brace as they moved forward. She will watch Killian if he does what he says he will, keeping herself ready to blast a anything that tries to attack them.
