"Salty. Might wanna shave and mix bits with the grass." Rumble says nonchalantly before really adding his own strength to the push. "Again. On three. One... Two... Three... Push!"

Leojym checks over Dark's wounds.

 Rumble and Killian force the boulder as it begins to move, a crunchy noise heard as it moves and some of it breaks off.

Beneath where the boulder sat appears to be a hole around three feet in diameter. It has stone bricks around the outside, as if it were foundations for a well long ago. The hole itself seems to descend into darkness, as gives a familiar feeling to that of the demon's maw you entered only a few sleeps ago.

The group also notices that the sky has gone to a sunset orange; it appears that the "day" is almost done for this room again, even though the group has only been awake for a couple of hours.

To Leojym Dark says, “It is like tiles up there.  They change to create a kind of picture. They also can open up as we saw with the Manta Ray.  I think something powerful is behind it and is playing a game with us.”

Killian takes a bit of the rock that has broken off and casts Light on it and drops it down the hole to see how far it goes and whats at the bottom. "Rumble help me keep an eye on this as it drops so we can see whats down here"

Material Usage Roll: 15 (Lucky. On a 1 it would've used up your moss)

Upon letting go of the rock, it tumbles for a couple of seconds through a cobbled stone chute, then hits the slanted wall which bends slightly as the light fades from view, the echo of the rock continuing for a little while later.

Killian shakes his head..."Well not sure about you big guy but I'm pretty sure I do not want to go that way. I believe up and out is our best course to take not down and dead ya know." After saying his piece to Rumble he turns to the rest. "Have we seen any other way out of this room? Should we form a line spread out about 15 feet from each other and walk until we find another entrance?"

Mara watches as the rock goes tumbling down. If they were to have the proper spells prepared it might have been do able but she did not have any that allowed her to fly or lessen the effects of a fall. "I have not  but it would be in our best interest as I agree that this is a place we do not want to spend to much longer  in if we can help it."

Rumble lets out a long, drawn out whistle after watching the seeing how far the rock falls. Afterwards, he just "hmms" and "haws" for the most part, but doesn't offer much in the way of advice at first. "I hear ya, Mister. Clinton. I hear ya.." He adds off-handedly. "'nd true enough, Miss Mara. Though that said, we might not get much of a choice in the matter. Darnell? Mister Birdman? What ch'all think? Mister Clinton's plan, or down another hole of death?" 

Darnell frowns.

"I think we shouldn't go jumping down holes unless that's the only way out. So I'm with Killian for now."

Dark has a panicked look in his eyes.  “I am not going down the hole.  I am willing to fly around again to try and find another exit but not into another hole.”

"A-b-b-b-bup! No flying just yet! Alright?" Rumble says, sounding panicked (not that the whole waving his hands around didn't do the trick). "Well alright. Now that we got that sorted -- sorry Mister Leo, Slim. Outvoted." He chuckles weakly. "Alright. Let's get it started. If we're doin' this, then let's do it right. I'll take center. Leo, Mara should be next closest, followed by Mister Clinton and... darnell? And then Mister Slim and birdman, cause let's be honest. I've seen the two of you move and *low whistles* hot bells!" On that possibly awkward note, Rumble will start marching, only to stop and look back at Killian. "Eh.. which direction?"

"Umm... that way." (I'll roll a d4, 1 left, 2 right, 3 straight, 4 re roll)

 Pointing to the left deeper into the woods, "we search for about an hour I'd say, we ought to find something"

Dark drops his head but agrees to the plan .  Taking up his assigned position he prepares to move.

Mara stays ckose to the meat shiel.... bigger members of the party so that she can help them with her long range spells.

"I am not eager to dive through another hole either. We should search, but this may be our best path out. Like a fish hook embedded in ones skin, sometimes the only way out is to push deeper."  Leojym takes up his position as Rumble described.

Okay, since the group is doing some searching around, I'd like them to state which of the following they are going to be focusing on:

• Tracking: looking for any sign of perhaps where the halflings will have been recently. Requires a survival roll.
• In depth searching: keeping an eye out for any small things that may be useful (like buttons, switches, maybe something hidden in the tree branches). Requires a Investigation roll.
• Overview searching: looking for paths or passageways that may be nearby. Requires a Perception check.
• Teaming up: assisting one of your companions. Does not require a roll, but gives their person they team up with advantage to their check.

If there is anything beyond the "general" categories above that people want to do (cast spells, check out the local flora, search for more fauna, etc.) then let me know.

Leojym is focused on searching for something he could craft into a holy symbol.
