Deciding to not mess with the trapped door Shadow leads the party through the maze of rooms to the King's Hall. At this point I need to know if you are entering the king's hall from the lower level or from the N door to the south?
Shadow leads you the longer way, but avoids the talking bar-relief. Bypassing the throne Shadow unlocks the U door and sees...
Metal wreckage and broken gears lie strewn about this oddly shaped chamber. Standing in the middle of the room is the half-built metal framework of a four-legged, five-foot-tall construct with one arm ending in a spiked wedge. Its other arm is nowhere to be seen. Gear doors are set into the north and south walls. Near them, two roughly hewn tunnels lead into darkness from the eastern part of the room. One to the north, which probably connects to the tunnel by the Z door, and one to the south. Webs fill the corners of the room.
"Why dont we just stand back here, let me burn the webs? We can ready up, and attack the spiders when they come for us. Assuming it is spiders, that is."
As Laladak approaches the half built Pulverizer a Skulk surrounded by bits of rags runs from behind the Pulverizer where it was hiding.
It runs into the tunnel to the north. As Laladak was ready for a dodge (how do you link something, while saying something else?) he isn't prepared to attack. Tyris has a readied action and can shoot, but because he was expecting spiders from the corners of the room, his attack will be with disadvantage.
Everyone roll initiatives, anyone higher than CS can act. (if the half elves are higher, they will act after everyone else who is higher.)
Laladak will follow the Skulk and try to grab it by the back of its neck with his Raw Buckness22
You don't have enough movement to make an action (it used it's readied action to move 30 feet into the tunnel, and you have to move around the half built Pulverizer. 30 feet will get you to the entrance of the tunnel, 10 feet from the skulk.)
Oreus moves quickly and tries to reach the skulk and stop him, with the butt of his weapon and then to hit him with its point.
move: 25 feet vs the skulk
bonus action: TO KNOCK PRONE: Orues Atlletic vs his 16
if not prone: Attack: 8 Damage: 10
if prone: Attack: 10 Damage: 8 .
Again he had a readied action to run away when someone got within 10 feet of him. You will have to dash to catch up with him in the tunnel. The picture in the middle of the room is the half built Pulverizer that he was hiding behind. The skulk is labeled CS and is in the northern tunnel. The only person who declared a readied action before Laladak moved into the room was Tyris, so no one besides Tyris will be able to attack him as he is moving into the tunnel.

"Not setting off traps does seem like a better plan," Tyris agrees.

Shadow sees the webs and looks to the party “ heavy armor wearers first!” And makes room to let the more tanky people in first

Laladak draws his greatsword and moves to the center of the room and clears his mind for impending chaos.

"Seems like a plan," Tyris says, readying his bow for the spider's they expect to infest the webs.

Laladak moves to the entrance of the tunnel and throws his hatchet at the fleeing skulk. He hits with a glancing blow.
