I would like to take the pieces of the plate armor and when we have time cancel my order in the half plate and resize the full.
The Full Plate is standing in the middle of the treasure room (the green room next to this one). The armor that just fell apart looked like Banded Mail, however it wasn't really armor but a construct.
Shadow looks over the chest looking for any traps or other suprises like the Dread Guard, but he doesn't find anything. He tries to unlock the chest but doesn't quite make it, give me another roll as you feel the tumblers start to move.
(Also the Hooked Hammer is a Masterwork, so it is good to sell, if no one wants it.
Laladak looks at the hook hammer. "I could use a bludgeoning weapon."
(Also yes, if we could make a quick pit stop at the blacksmith so I can cancel the order on the halfplate. If someone wants it I can just wait till we surface. Is that cool everyone?)
I have debated changing my Homebrewed double weapons to something similar to the special trait instead of the limitations listed above (this particular one will still be "small"). What do you guys think about me changing them?
Ooc: frankly I don't know, if the SMALL property still applies, I pass, if it doesn't, I take it because 2d4 for me is better than 1d10, since I re roll any 1 or 2 on damages
Here are examples of my two blade weapon. Current text in spoilers.
Gnome Hooked Hammer
This is a non-magical weapon
A gnome hooked hammer is a double weapon. You can fight with it as if fighting with two weapons, but if you do, you incur all the normal attack penalties associated with fighting with two weapons, just as if you were using a two light weapons. The hammer’s blunt head is a bludgeoning weapon that deals 1d8 Bludgeoning damage. Its hook is a piercing weapon that deals 1d6 pricing damage. You can use either head as the primary weapon. The other head is the offhand weapon. A creature wielding a gnome hooked hammer in one hand can’t use it as a double weapon—only one end of the weapon can be used in any given round.
Only people (Disregard the next paragraph) with the feat Polearm Master; or Fighters with Two-Weapon Fighting Style; and Gnomes are proficient with gnome hooked hammers.
If I were to change it it would look something like this
1d8 bludgeoning
Special. If you attack with a double-bladed scimitar as part of the Attack action on your turn, you can use a bonus action immediately after to make a melee attack with it. This attack deals 1d6 pricing damage on a hit, instead of 1d8.
Also this particular one is masterwork so it would "You have a +1 bonus to damage rolls made with weapon, and you can reroll the first "1" you roll for damage. "
Dwarven Urgrosh
If I were to change it it would look something like this
1d8 slashing
Special. If you attack with a double-bladed scimitar as part of the Attack action on your turn, you can use a bonus action immediately after to make a melee attack with it. This attack deals 1d6 pricing damage on a hit, instead of 1d8.
Two-bladed Longsword
This is a non-magical slivered weapon.
A two-bladed longsword is a double weapon. You can fight with it as if fighting with two weapons each blade does 1d8 + Str slashing damage, but if you do, you incur all the normal attack penalties associated with fighting with two weapons, just as if you were using two light weapons. A creature wielding a two-bladed longsword in one hand can’t use it as a double weapon —only one end of the weapon can be used in any given round.
Only people (Disregard the next paragraph) with the feat Polearm Master; or Fighters with Two-Weapon Fighting Style are proficient with the Two-bladed Longsword.
If I was to change this one it would look like the two bladed Scimitar
All of these changes I would take out the Proficiency requirements and replace it with the new text. And probably clean it up a little .
As discussed before 3.5 uses different size categories for armor and weapons. I like the idea and have made my Homebrewed rule for this you can see it on the campaign page and I will put it in the spoiler below
DM Note on Item sizes:
In 3.5 each size creature (tiny, small, medium, large, gargantuan) has weapons (weapons acutely did different damage depending on their size), armor and sometimes other items are sized for the creature. In 5e this has gone away, but since Shackled City was written for 3.5 I decided to keep the item sizes. After much thought here is how I'm going to deal with this.
Weapons: If the weapon is within one size category of you (small or large), you can use the weapon, but it will always have disadvantage.
Armor: Armor within one size category of you (small or large) can be resized by a blacksmith for 1/3rd the cost of the armor. Armor within two sizes category of you (tiny or gargantuan) can be resized by a blacksmith for 2/3rd the cost of the armor. The resizing with take 2d4 days to complete.
Shadow start to inventory and loot (please indicate that you have added it all to your character sheet). Laladak goes over tt the armor and trys to move it, however when he does it fall apart scattered thousands of silver coins around the room that where inside the armor. Laladak gathers the pieces of the plate and examines them and decides that there is no damage to the plate, it fell apart at the seems. The party spends half an hour gathering up the silver pieces and another half an hour counting them. After there a counted you have gained 4,500sp.
Gatherer up the pieces of the full plate, you head back out of Jzadirune and to Gurnezarn's Smithy. Phalian Gurnezarn looks up from his work when an apprentice shows you where he is working, and smiles at you saying "You armor won't be ready until tomorrow evening, or possibly the next morning young sir. Do you want to examine my work?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"What stop working on this" He cries out while gesturing to the armor on a workshop table. "Well I guess can do that, I will have to keep 104gp out of the 312gp 5sp you gave me. So I will give you back 208gp and 5sp. Let me look at that full plate of yours. Assuming you let him look, he spends a good 10 minutes going over the armor taking measurements (of both the armor and you) and finally comes back to you and says "That is a nice set of armor there. The resizing will take 8 days, and it is going to cost you 650gp if you subtract the 208gp and 5sp that leaves you with a new total of 416gp and 5sp. If you want to sell me the half-plate over there, I would buy it for 375gp, leaving you with a bill of 41gp and 5sp. Is this acceptable?
Time since last Long Rest 1 hour 20 minutes

Shadow do you want to try to examine the locked chest again?
Laladak do you want to take the full plate to the Smithy right away? If so does anyone one object to that?
Does anyone want to try to appraise the items in the urn?
Shadow are you going to add them to your character sheet for later dispersal?
Yes shadow will continue to work on the chest. I'll have to go back and look at what was in the urn to write them down
Rockcrusher lvl 2 Goliath Barbarian Horde of the Dragon Queen
Taggart lvl 6 Air Genasi Blood Hunter Tomb of Annihilation
Shadow lvl 3 variant feral tiefling rogue Shackled City

The Gnome Hooked Hammer is a 3.5 weapon that I Homebrewed. Along with other 3.5 double weapons I created I made it somewhat limited for 5e.
Only people with the feat Polearm Master; or Fighters with Two-Weapon Fighting Style; and Gnomes are proficient with gnome hooked hammers.
I believe that Oreus is the only person who has either of these. (Besides Fario who doesn't want it for size reasons, see below).
Also as a "small" sized weapon anyone who it not small would have disadvantage.
Since I created it, 5e has come out with this double-bladed scimitar

Ooc: pretty confused, sorry, in the end what would the future of nal description of the weapon? Up to you to decide, then I see what Oreus would do
16 pick lock
Rockcrusher lvl 2 Goliath Barbarian Horde of the Dragon Queen
Taggart lvl 6 Air Genasi Blood Hunter Tomb of Annihilation
Shadow lvl 3 variant feral tiefling rogue Shackled City
Shadow gets frustrated with the lock and gives up for the time being.
Does anyone abject to Laladak taking the plate and getting it resized?
Ok for me that Ladalak takes it
I have no issue taking the plate to be resized.
Alben will examine the items in the urn for macic: arcana 6
As well as the armor, i believe I already made a roll for that one.
Shadow should take the stuff in the urn and we can appraise it during our next long rest.
I'm fine taking a quick trip back.

"Sure its a deal. Tho I will probably be retired by the time this armor is ready."
