Oreus leads the party back to the assembly room and over to the I door, which Shadow unlocks. Looking inside he sees...
Small desks have been arranged in three concentric semicircles facing the south wall of this fifteen-foot-high octagonal room. Chalkboards set in stone frames along the three southernmost walls bear faded equations and formulas. A web-shrouded lectern stands in front of them, facing the desks. A pile of stony rubble spills from the mouth of a five-foot-diameter tunnel that breaches the north wall.
Hmm more tunnels, should we relock this door so nothing can come from the tunnel and go back to where we were exploring or should we venture forward this way? I would like to go back to the other side
"The last time we went through tunnels wasn't overly pleasant. I'm fine with exploring back down that other hall before moving into more tunnels." Tyris agrees.
Ooc: I didn’t really understand where tyris wants to go, to the I door that leads to the likely little room along the main hall?
@DM: can you sum up which runes we have the keys for? Thanks
I believe they want to go back to the forge and try the hallway through the south doorway. But you could try to talk them into checking out the I door in the long hallway if you want.
You have keys to the "E", "N", "U", and "I" doors. (I added this list to the note section of the campaign page and will try to keep it updated as you find new keys)
ooc: I am not understanding : directly south of the forge: what are those three small squares (one eastward and two southward? alcoves/recesses or they just continue? I mean, did we see walls closing them or not...sorry about that
You haven't really been in the hallway, but you can tell that there is another room 40 feet south of the doorway from the forge (the alcove directly below). The alcove to the east has a wall, and it looks like the hallway ends there. From the doorway you can't really see the western part of the hallway including the 2nd alcove to the south.
Shadow looks around the room, but doesn't see anything interesting. He then searches for hidden doors again coming up blank, but through the doorway on the southern wall he can see a hallway going east to west and the entrance to a another room 40 feet south of the doorway.
Oreus determines that this forge is mostly for creating weapons and armor, but there are molds for other items as well. However he doesn't find any molds for coins.
Tyris makes a halfhearted attempt to search the barrels and comes up empty.

Shadow will lead everyone back to the forge and take the south exit to the room, wary of hallways after being tricked multiple times down here, he will make an investigation check for traps

From the intersection 20 feet south of the forge you can see that to the east to hallway ends 10 feet away, it goes 50 feet west and you see a makeshift wall made of wooden planks. Iron spikes hammered into the walls and iron braces bolted to the floor keep the wall from tipping over. There is no easy way past. You deduce that it is the same makeshift wall you saw to the east in the assembly room. Also to the west 40 feet away (10 feet from the makeshift wall) there is another hallway or doorway south. 20 feet south of you there is another room ending in a gear door 50 feet from you.
Shadow leads the party to the southern room, looking in he sees...
This dark room has an exit southwest walls (a little larger tunnel than you've seen before), plus gear doors set into the south (J glyph) and east walls (A glyph). A stone oven fills the northwest corner. Iron tings hang from a hook nearby. Bottles, flasks, and pottery clutter shelves and tables haphazardly pushed against the bare walls. Shards of broken glass and ceramic cover the floor such that you think it would be difficult to cross the room without stepping on them.

Oreus peers into the hallway and realizes where it ends
Finally we can check the doors with the rune "I" , let's open them!
And he goes towards the "I" door in the assembly room, once arrived, he waits for the others
Laladak is ready.
I got alot a doods
Tyris follows as well, keeping his bow ready in case they're attacked again.
Since we have a key sure we can backtrack a little. Shadow follows with the key to open the I door
