With a herculean effort, Augustin hangs onto the drake and twists it so it can't bring its strength to bear. Any melee attacks on the drake are at advantage. It is already bloodied from the smashing hooves of the warhorse/RL.
I will continue to use my action to wrestle the drake and keep it restrained. Im hoping it looks super intimidating/awesome and those new recruits are rethinking their life choices watching me wrestle this thing.

The leader casts a spell, and in a 15ft radius from her fiendish spirits circle around, looking to tear and claw at whoever comes within reach. She then moves forward so that Grimbald and the two Iron Circle Guards are enveloped by the spirit guardians. Grimbald will need to make a Wisdom save DC13. The Iron Circle Guards are left alone by the spirit guardians.
The spirit guardians do 23 necrotic damage. Half on a save, round down.
The Red Guard Drake finally shakes off Augustin and looks mad enough to swallow him whole, and will probably try that. But it is bloodied, seems to be favouring its wounded side where RL's hooves cracked its scales and maybe some bones.
The flashing hooves and sheer bulk of the warhorse stop the Drake Rider from getting in a telling strike.
The Iron Circle Rabble surround Vakiel who has a hard time deflecting their blows, so three out of the four rabble hit him.
One of the crossbow bolts hits Esa and she takes some damage.
If Grimbald can use his inspiration he will re roll his save 5

RL will drop wildshape as a bonus action and cast [Tooltip Not Found] to get the drake and rider but not Augustin.
