Augustin shouts out: “what’s physic damage! And how do I not do it?” (noting he is doing a combination of bludgeoning, fire and psychic.)
He is likely to keep swinging. Unless something changes.
The psychic damage is having an effect, the fire a only a little bit and some scorch marks appear and this time (because they do not have any victims back in time to feed off their temporal energy) they do not heal.
"I meant physical! Physical! And they only move when observed!" yells Esa, coming to the same conclusion as everyone else, and against all common sense looks away from the statues to everyone else to see if they are impressed. RL looks at Esa. Augustin likely blinks as he hits the statue. But Vakiel and Grimbald maintain concentration and do not blink and so the statues do not move.
That will do it. Everyone takes turns to blink, while Augustin hammers the statues and while the physical damage does nothing, the psychic damage is what does it for the weeping angels in the end. When the party realised what their trick was, in the end it was easy to undo. But lucky you did have that ruby mace, otherwise it would have used up a lot of magic! Rather than be destroyed the weeping angels suddenly disappear, and do not return.
The party look around the room, but anything valuable has been taken. The dessicated old people were likely people the weeping angels sent back in time to feed off their temporal displacement energy and then brought them back when they had nothing left to give. The bodies seem to have nothing of value on them though.
When asked, Esa and RL tell you when they disappeared they found themselves alone back in time. RL couldn't tell you how far back he had gone, but there was no Harken village, only a lot of trees. Esa says she went back to a time when there was a Harken village, but the Nerath Empire was still present. Both RL and Esa came back by first casting a detect magic which showed they themselves were both displaying necrotic (the weeping angels feeding on their temporal displacement energy) and transmutation (from the temporal displacement) magic, and then casting dispel magic on the transmutation magic which ended their time travelling jaunt.
It was fortunate for the party the weeping angels (aka quantum-locked gargoyles) targetted both Esa and RL who could both cast dispel magic. Had Augustin been one of the characters sent back in time, things might have been a lot different without his ruby mace.
The owl disappeared when RL disappeared back in time.
The party head up the stairs.
This floor contains a combination kitchen and dining room. Seated at a table are the decrepit remains of what appears to be four delvers who maybe died, trapped in the tower. Does this mean you have to finish the tower before it time shifts again?
On the table is art objects, jewellery, and coins, perhaps plundered from the room below. The cupboards are all open and bare. Sacks, pouches, boxes, and bowls are littering the floor.
The circles are the chairs at which the bodies of former delvers are slumped at the table. The party enters from the stairs at the bottom. The stairs to the second level are at the top of the map.
"I think it is best to figure out our exit strategy from this place really quick. Things don't appear trapped, perhaps we see if we can find who is running this show and if they need help?"
"Grab what you can if you think its important, but don't take too long. Anything about their experience here, or which can identify who they are would be helpful?"
"I'll keep checking ahead, everyone in eyesight at all times though"
Augustin moves to cautious use of the donk stick, if something clearly angry in his direction comes this way, then so be it. Otherwise he is ask questions donk later now.

Augustin looks around and shrugs before walking up the stairs.
He is on the lockout for wierd timey wimey nonsense, however, recognises he might not know what that looks like.
He is not afraid to donk first and ask questions later.
Grimbald and Vakiel who are outside the tower looking in see the others moving in slow motion, although that changes as soon as they reach the stairs.
RL will follow Augustin up the stairs, would the Owl still be around after the time travel?
The owl disappeared when RL disappeared back in time.
The party head up the stairs.
This floor contains a combination kitchen and dining room. Seated at a table are the decrepit remains of what appears to be four delvers who maybe died, trapped in the tower. Does this mean you have to finish the tower before it time shifts again?

RL will cast detect magic to see if any of the items or equipment on the delvers is magical.
RL says to the party 'Guess we better clear the tower first and loot on the way down?'
Everything radiates transmutation magic, but that's all.
Augustin Agrees:
"I think it is best to figure out our exit strategy from this place really quick. Things don't appear trapped, perhaps we see if we can find who is running this show and if they need help?"
