The owl heads into the sleeping chamber, there is no ankheg now, of course, but otherwise looks the same. A big pile of decaying matter and debris the ankheg used as a resting place, and a floor to ceiling stone column.
The owl heads then to the moulting chamber and nothing has changed - swarms of mites eat away at the moulted skin.
RL pulls the ankheg bedding apart. It's made of all sort of things - rotting vegetable matter, branches, there's an old broken bow - maybe belonged to that dwarf, although dwarves usually use crossbows - bits of old material which might have been a cloak or a large sack at some point. Amongst the rotting vegetation RL finds a stitched bag. It is pieced together with greenish grey hued skins, and is rotting nicely. The bag is drawn closed with woven cord made from hair.
The owl notices something odd about the stone column but with a low INT can't really work out what. RL does notice his pack vibrating slightly.
RL would like to try to open the stitched bag and see what is inside, he will get his owl to come down and cut some of the stitches with its beak, then he would like to open his pack to see what is vibrating.
Grimbald draws his crossbows, and examines the column, preferably from a distance. he will use the acorn vibration like a geiger counter to determine what is settting it off.
Grimbald examines the stone column and, as a dwarf, he can now see it's worked stone, not natural. But someone has taken some time to disguise it. He reaches out and wipes some of the dirt and grime away and finds himself looking an image of an eagle with wings outstretched carrying a sword.
Grimbald starts clearing more of the old roots and dirt from the column and sees familiar looking runes cut into the column, which is now obviously meant to be an altar-like column, complete with a small shelf perhaps for offerings.
The dwarf thinks for a second, then digs into the ground, finding cut stone slabs just under the dirt. He guesses he would find stone walls if he dug away the dirt on the walls. This chamber has been disguised to look like the other chambers. Someone or many someones has done a good job of it too.
Grimbald keeps cleaning the column and finds on the other side an engraved image of a Fabio-like figure with angelic wings wielding a greatsword.
Grimbald will not uncover anymore, it has been disguised for good reason. He will take out the acorn and sense where it could be placed. But he will wait for the rest of the party to join. He assumes this to be a benevolent temple and wants the others to participate.
Augustin is just shouting out trying to figure out what’s going on. He’s realllly antsy given the collapse of everything and wonders if he can help, without the others knowing he’s re injured himself.
RL will send his owl up to round up the rest of the party, it will bob up and down on each of their shoulders while hooting gently then take off and head down the tunnel towards Grimbald and RL then come back and keep repeating this until each member understands and follows the owl.
RL will touch Esa on the shoulder before she goes in and say squeak if you need me and cast guidance on Esa
The entire egg chamber is collapsed. Nothing to squeeze into, it is solid earth and rock now.
Ankheg Lair, post collapse of the egg chamber.
RL will send his owl scouting around the chambers, sleeping first then moulting chamber
Perception check 21 from the owl

What's everyone else doing while RL is in the sleeping chamber?
Grimbald will join RL
The Acorn starts vibrating shortly after you enter the room.
Vakiel will not quite be in the chamber. Covering the rear, keeping an eye on entrance B as the others explore the room

Vakiel will follow the owl into the room, tossing his hair out of his face before reaching for a leather strap on his belt to tie his hair back with
