ok, lets do this then, Alesia to open the postern gate for the party, Esa and RL could get into 20 separately if we need to, we get the Baron out and send him to Old Kellars house. Is there any other family members we have to look out for? Dis-information to the snitch that we are going to move on Marl first.
We take some vials of acid and alchemical fire to get into the cell if we need to or just to create some chaos
Esa gets caught up on the events since her departure. Understanding her and RL may be facing a few obstacles together, she opts to travel on him in case they need to strategise. She agrees using their Charms could prove an easy way to gain entrance to areas, as well as her invisibility and her and RLs size.
In terms of actual battle tactics, Esa tells Augustin to think of her as his soldier to command. She has learned to trust his judgement in battle and will be useful where she can be.
"What time of day are we doing this?" asks Alesia. "If we're going today I'm going to head to Harken ahead of you and talk to Old Kellar - I'll need to ask him about the type of lock on the postern gate and maybe practice a bit."

Is night time better, say an hour before dawn when the sentries are the most tired?
Alesia nods. "Yes, it's absolutely the right time. When Nazin Redthorn was in charge he would get everyone armed and ready just before dawn as if they were expecting an attack. It was called "Stand-to-Arms". Now he's gone and the leader at Harken Keep has no military experience, Stand-to-Arms seems to have fallen away. So pre-dawn would be just the right time. Some of the staff - like the kitchen staff - will be getting up just before dawn too. We might be able to get them out as well."

Esa agrees with this time. "I do find that guards are most relaxed towards the end of their watches. That false sense of security when you know someone will come soon to relieve you can be used to our advantage."
Augustin thinks and agrees with the plan. His understanding is multiple points of access and a little bit of chaos to wrap it all up.
He suggests, we take some spare horses and leave them tied up a little bit out of town, if there are staff being trapped and held against their will there. It may benefit them to get back to Albridge ASAP. If someone is available to look after these horses, that would be greatly appreciated. We may be able to demoralise the Ironcircle guards a bit further.
Augustin main priority is rescuing his family, but he knows that he isn't the most stealthy of individuals so is torn between his choices. His mind absently wanders to considering if he has the strength of a giant. Perhaps with some more training is his conclusion.
Augustin tells Esa not to blow herself up unless he is around and only then as a last resort. She can however, play with the alchemist vials if she wants. Augustin provides one clear direction. "Don't die." He pauses for a moment before adding with a toothy grin "and have fun"
He suggests that the Well be considered a point of exit rather then entry. If things go pear shaped. It'll be a relatively secure escape and he is willing to ask Missy how she means to help. He makes it clear he is unlikely to consider being turned into a fish.
Augustin is at peace, being of good health and with a plan to save his family.

RL would suggest leaving some weapons on those horses as well. Also how many family members are there that we need to rescue?
Vakiel may know someone we could ask to wait with the horses. Someone who could manage a blade if needed ... It could be a long shot though. We may be better to ask Dar for a scout or someone else (?!)
When Augustin speaks with Missy he will go as well to speak with Santos
"We can put my family on the horses, and if we can manage a few guards all the better. I can imagine that the garrison in the Keep will be unlikely to pursue anyone whilst we are still in there. If we buy them some time, even half an hour by foot, that would put all those held against their will at greater safety. I doubt if we will have the number here to have some one meet those fleeing half way and provide greater support for their retreat."
Augustin pauses and looks around, making sure no one is listening to hard to their conversation. Perception 3
"I think, everyone willing, we split these tasks as quickly as possible with a view to strike the day after tomorrows dawn. Not tomorrow....the day after..." Augustin starts to get visibly confused trying to piece together the date before settling on: "The morning after tomorrow night". Satisfied he continues: "I will seek out Missy and speak to her about how she can assist, I imagine this to be a short task, but I can also source any armaments we may require to protect their retreat." He looks around the group with increasing anticipation, the feeling of peace beginning to evolve into something more actionable.
"We need horses. We need guards. We need misdirection. We need a way in." He looks around at each member of the group after each sentence. 'We need a lot. But the bulk of what we need is sitting at this table here." "Let's enjoy tonight, but tomorrow we work."
"Cheers" he says holding up his tankard to the centre of the table.

so we have today to get the misdirection sorted. who and how are we getting word to the snitch in Harken? Should we go there today and consult with Old Kellar? Where are we going to say we are heading to? Marl? still in Albridge? or some stay here and get the horses and weapons sorted and some go and get the mis-direction done?
Augustin thinks for a moment. His mind scrambling to put a plan together.
"I think we ride out of town together... South. Before splitting and doubling back. There could be something to be said about going Ghost hunting in the woods and it may help sell the idea that we are seeking supplies for delving. The best lies have the most truth in them. If the Iron Circle have spies everywhere, they will be able to verify our willingness to pursue this course of action. Make sure the snitch over hears might be the simplest way."
"Those who have spoken to Old Kellar should seek to speak with him again and reinforce our plan. He may be able to help in his own way and confirm we are able to enter through some of these back doors."
"We may need to spend tomorrow night out of town to sell the illusion we have gone delving. We can spend the morning at least organising supplies, horses, weapons via the elders. We should be able to trust they can support us."
"The longer we wait, the more chance they have to reinforce themselves. However, the better planned we would be. If we can sneak some alchemist fire into the keep and have someone trustworthy cause a distraction. I think we can sneak in without notice."
With his perception roll....Augustin notices a fair maiden in the corner and starts to trail off at the end of each sentence.
The fair maiden Augustin is noticing is sitting at a table talking to a man dressed in builder's clothes, with the same dust Vakiel has seen on his contact Danz. Vakiel wonders why he isn't at work at this time of day, there's hardly anyone else here. He is buying them a meal and he is chatting excitedly, and she has a bored and skeptical expression. She catches Augustin looking at her and doesn't look away until her companion appears to want a response from her.
He blushes aggressively, reverting back to a child like ignorance. "I mean, Marigold, did have appropriate information on the spy last time I spoke to her. So perhaps there is some benefit in doing so. I mean, we have to start the rumour where heading out tomorrow. Now may be a good chance, right. Right?..." He trails off into a number of different excuses about why this a suitable and tactical idea, each more hairbrained then the last before leaning in and whispering "...I mean she may be you know...a Primal Spirit...right?" He seems satisfied with his conclusion.
A look of horror crosses his face as all the colour drains from it. He ducks instinctively expecting a swat around the head from Esa, half expecting another fireball to the face. "Esa, I'm sorry, what did you think? Is it uhhh a good idea?"
Vakiel will just shake his head (at Augustin and RL) and catching the eye of the excitable fellow at the table, signal for to meet him outside. He'll head outside and see if he follows...not entirely sure if he is a rascal or just a companion of Danz.
The man makes his excuses to the girl and she looks impressed he is going to meet with a member of the famous - and still unnamed - group of delvers. She is re-evaluating the man.
Outside the pub the man approaches Vakiel. He is actually a little older than Vakiel first thought, perhaps why the young woman was not that interested in him. There is still some fog from the river around, but people going past on their daily business can be seen, not too close, Vakiel chose a location where they will not be overheard.
"Yes?" asks the man. "How can I help one of the famous delvers of Albridge?"

She grabs her bag from the corner of the room.
"I'll meet you at Old Kellar's before we go in. As I said, I need to ask him about the type of lock on the postern gate. See you then!"
With a cheery wave and a wink at Vakiel, she heads out.
