Augustin thinks there must be a graveyard here somewhere, and he and Fael search around. Thinking it unlikely to be in the actual grounds, they search close by, and soon find an overgrown graveyard with a dozen graves.
While RL is detecting magic and scouting around, with Esa and Grimbald looking out for danger, Vakiel, Danners, and Augustin dig three graves - one for Danners' companion Paal, and two for the twin teenagers. Vakiel grabs an old shovel from the workshop, and while he has to be careful of it not breaking by being loaded with too much dirt, he manages it.
The body and bones are placed in the graves, and as Augustin begins the funeral rite ceremony spell, Danners and Vakiel push the earth over the bodies.
"Paal had no family," said Danners, sadly. "He was a refugee from Marl and his relatives were killed there. He will like being buried here, with others who also were lost." The youth wipes a tear away.
Augustin yells as loudly as he can, hoping the ghosts can hear and understand what is being asked of them.
”Lord of the manor. Know your daughters now rest at peace! Search this world and they are safe. Greet us in peace, and we will respectfully honour your request!”
"It appears this sudden age spurt has left me a little worse for wear. I am not sure how much assistance I can be in another confrontation..."
"In saying that. If we rest now, we may have two more ghosts on our back, and that did NOT go well for us..." He picks up his shield and staff with a deep sigh. "...But I guess 1 is better then 2. Lets go see what this racket is about." Pointing in the direction of the wailing.
"Danners, regardless if you stay or if you go, we cannot guarantee your safety. What we can provide is a dozen sets of eyes to look out for you if you stay. The choice is yours" Augustin stands and waits until the others are ready before taking the lead towards the wailing.
"I think I've learned I'm not a delver. Not yet anyway, I have a lot to learn. If it's alright with you I will stay out here. Your.. wolf?.. looks like it might be too big to fit in there, especially with stairs up, so if you leave him here, and make him promise he won't eat me, I'll be happy to stay here and wait on your return."

unless both are up there together, what if one ghost is holding the other hostage?
“well if one is holding the other hostage, we have an ally up there” Augustin naively says. “If they’re both up there, well…. Things will be a little harder then expected”
Augustin looks around the group to try and determine the need for more rest or more action.

Augustin to Fael “The young needs guidance. Show him the strength inside him. He survived here on his own. He has the fight, make him believe… like you did me.”
"Should you prefer, you can return Danners to the town, and then the time is your own. I believe we will hunt something tastier then rotten bird soon. Some people are harassing others on the road. We will ensure that they do not impact on free travel and free roam, or prey on the sick and week. Hopefully an honourable hunt."
In the end Fael and Danners head off to Albridge, and actually have an adventure together along the way, involving a tome, mountains, some luck, an undead spellcaster and his defeat. But that is tale for another time.

"Paal had no family," said Danners, sadly. "He was a refugee from Marl and his relatives were killed there. He will like being buried here, with others who also were lost." The youth wipes a tear away.
"He was a good friend, and I'll miss him."
As Augustin finishes the ceremony spell there is a stirring of wind around the graveyard and there is a sound like two sighs, and then all is still.
Esa looks at Augustin's beard and hair with their thin streaks of grey, and shakes her head.
"Two spirits laid to rest. We doing the other two or what? I bet that crying lady that has Angel boy there so wrapped up is one of them".
Augustin yells as loudly as he can, hoping the ghosts can hear and understand what is being asked of them.
”Lord of the manor. Know your daughters now rest at peace! Search this world and they are safe. Greet us in peace, and we will respectfully honour your request!”
There is no answer, except the occasional sobbing from the tower.
Augustin rubs his rapidly aged body.
"It appears this sudden age spurt has left me a little worse for wear. I am not sure how much assistance I can be in another confrontation..."

Danners looks relieved and also disappointed.
"I think I've learned I'm not a delver. Not yet anyway, I have a lot to learn. If it's alright with you I will stay out here. RL shrugs fair enough, im ready to go then
Augustin to Fael “The young needs guidance. Show him the strength inside him. He survived here on his own. He has the fight, make him believe… like you did me.”
Fael licks Augustin's face and snorts, and looks at Danners, then back and Augustin in a look of suffering.
After digging the graves and listening to Augustin, Vakiel will invoke dark blessing for some temp HP - 6
"Something troubling you Fael?"

The party are now all gathered outside the walls of the ruined manor.
"Just the tower to explore now!" said Esa, brightly. "I hope we find something interesting, other than needy ghosts."
The rain starts to fall from the cloudy sky, and the sobbing starts up again.
RL will ritual cast detect magic again before following whoever leads into the tower, staying back 15 ft from the leader
Who shall lead?
I think given Vakiel is still drawn towards the sobbing, he would be leading.
