As their foe flees, Manauia takes a step after it, but in the end decides to let it go. He decides to stay in this form of a beast, at least for now. He keeps a watch out for the beastman returning, or anything else that heard the fight approaching in turn.
Djoven slides down the tree and skips into the clearing to lose the momentum from the drop. "There are more of them out there... well, not him, but other things. Abominations of Silumgar - dead things that walk. They are close - a few miles distant. But the Beast offers us a hunt - we follow!"
Without further hesitation, he stows his longbow and pulls out a spear tipped with sharp black stone, running into the trees after the wounded creature with confident steps.
Manauia, you analyze the woods not quite seeing anything, but something about this place feels... unnatural. And then Djoven runs into the woods.
Djoven, you rush into the woods, following the trail of blood left by the wolf-man. By the time you look back, the trees block your view of new allies(?). You assume you have passed their line of sight as well.
"Well, I'll give him this: that guy's got some guts," Beshlog says with a chuckle as Djoven runs off into the woods. "By the way, did anyone catch what he was sayin' about 'dead things...'?"

“Dead things walking, miles away. We should catch up with him, before he gets himself killed.” Finn follows the trail, keeping a look out for the half-orc. This is foolish. Hunting unfamiliar foes, in an unfamiliar place, in the middle of the night? We’ll be lucky to last to dawn.
Manauia moves to follow Finn as they leave after Djoven. But as he notices the others aren't moving, he stops and beckons for them to follow with his claws.
Not far beyond their sight, Djoven's pace slows as he struggles to follow the trace over unfamiliar ground. He is clearly relieved to see Finn follow with such ease, but is equally unwilling to let the prey escape without further pursuit. "It's near - badly hurt. We nearly have it!"
As you argue over what to do, you hear a howl. It starts with one, but you can hear more and more howls joining in, coming from multiple different directions. It seems like there are a lot more wolfmen than the one you just fought.
A'ro just looks at everyone "So should we start setting up something...seems like wolfmen no matter what could track us down." he begins looking around for any potential signs of civilization around them that might point to a town "Could I suggest we try to find a rive and follow it for a bit at least?"

Noggs watches over half of the people he just met chase after the monster that tried to eat his face with a mixture of incredulity and amusement. "Well, maybe I am in hell. Thought it would be a lot more fire and screaming. Not stuck in the wilderness with crazy folks. How's water gonna help us find people? Like fountains and whatnot? What if it just leads us to a cistern?"
A'ro just looks at Noggs "People typically build villages or towns near water. Even if that's not the case here it will give us something to follow that will hopefully eventually open up to a wider area. This way." he says leading them in the direction of the water.
Finn returns to the group with Djoven. “This place is dangerous. We need shelter and, if possible, civilization. If there are people who live here, they will be better prepared to deal with these creatures.”

"Huh. That actually makes quite a bit of sense. Well, I'm definitely out of my element, so lead on you ... I'm not sure if there is a good collective noun for a bunch of beneficent strangers in a haunted forest at night. Oooh! Maybe a beneficence?" Noggs continues to banter to himself as he follows A'ro. He glances up and sees the moon and wonders aloud, "Now that looks like magicky bollocks."

"I'm thinkin' that if we want to, ya' know, not die, we should really find somewhere to hunker down for the night," Beshlog growls.

Discouraged, but acknowledging the wisdom of the Tabaxi's counsel, Djoven turns to rejoin the group.
