Anything you want to do at this cave entrance before you head back into the town?

(Do we gave any reason to believe the creature would be inside? Or near by for that matter?)
I don't think this was addressed.

((Sorry gang, I’ve been super busy. I’ll dedicate some time to respond today))
***Yup, sorry, totally forgot that.
You can see VERY obvious signs that the Thessalhydra comes and goes out of this cave. And that uses this specific cave as it’s lair.
You can also see extremely fresh tracks indicating that it has entered the cave very recently, perhaps even within the last hour.
Roll Investigation or Nature, whichever suits you best.

You see several additional, smaller tracks similar to eachother. Though, unlike the other smaller tracks you saw at the previous cave.
Still going back to the town?

((So it looks like it just got here and brought minions, but not kobolds. Let's catch a short rest then, I barely have any spellslots left.
In the meantime, let's make a plan about this cave. Should we try to smoke them out, since we know the other monster didn't like fire?))

Okay, you all short rest (thats 4 hours? I forget. That would put this around 9am).
Progo, roll me Perception as you keep watch.
Perception: 21
Great, you remain unmolested while everyone rests.
Any activity around the cave entrance as that would have been Progo's main focal point to watch?
