The devious little creature surprises the cursed warrior, biting him on the neck! The bite itself is small... but it burns like hell! This creature must have a potent poison... (OOC: the snake is now in the same square as Obadiah)
Roxana draws back an arrow on her bow, aiming at the half-orc. "Call off your pet and surrender! It'll be much simpler that way," she calls out. (READY - Shortbow Attack: 9, Damage:8; triggered if the half-orc or his snake makes any attacks or tries to flee.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The white-haired warrior growls, almost overwhelmed by the immense pain of the vicious poison entering his bloodstream, the survival instincts and rage taking hold of him now. He drops the torch on the floor before him and grabs the flying snake at his neck, crushing it with a powerful sqeeze.
Bonus action: Rage Unarmed strike using inspiration: 15 Damage: 7
(OOC: No, I also think there's no extra damage on an unarmed crit - because the crit makes you roll double the dice... but the damage of the common unarmed strike doesn't include dice, it only has a fixed component - that the crit doesn't multiply).
While the Longsaddle girl struggles to keep her bow taut, with an arrow already nocked and pointing at the 'king', the white-haired warrior is seized by the same battle frenzy that had animated him before and, with a shot like this angry and ferocious that not even the agile snake can avoid, grabs the flying snake at his neck, crushing it with a powerful sqeeze. The winged serpent goes limp, dead, in his hand.
"You guys are slow learners, so looks like I'm going to have to repeat this.," Spira growls, stepping forward to block the 'king''s path to Obadiah. She stands with her mace ready for a strike of opportunity if the 'king' steps back from her cleansing light, her crescent moon symbol draped lightly from that wrist so as not to impede the weapon. "Narv-nin cothae, Angharradh!", , she cries again, pointing at the hulking half-orc with the mace's many-flanged head. At the same time, she prepares to cast her healing spell in case the snake's venom should be lingering in the white-haired warrior's body and need to be quickly expelled.
The 'king' seems incredibly outraged by Roxana's words: "I'm the one giving the orders, here!"
And on seeing Obadiah kill the winged serpent: "And I'm also the one who kills here!"
Spira, probably placing little faith in the dialogue, invests the half-orc with her own sacred light... but he manages to shield himself with his shield, stopping most of it and laughing: "What a good girl! I guess I'll take you prisoner! Do you know how many candles you will save me?"
The brute delivers a quick diagonal slash to the tiefling cleric with his Battleaxe, just as the Longsaddle girl lets go of her arrow... which, however, as the target has just moved, grazes the shoulder without effect.
Spira, who perhaps counted on a greater effect of her own sacred light, is not quick enough to interpose the shield; so the heavy blade strikes at her side, leaving a not too deep, but quite nagging wound.
"The base is under attack, you fools!" the half-orc roars towards the hall you came from "Everybody run here!"
Rash looks for a strategic position inside the room and attacks the 'king' with a magical ray, but he has followed his moves and avoids with a dash, protesting: "Even you, who are part of our own race, are against me!? Aren't you tired of how everyone treats us with distrust and contempt!? Join me instead of fighting me! The world's gonna know our names!"
(OOC: Taking Aidwyn's turn, since Frandal might have problems... If you are back and want Aidwyn to do something different, just post Frandal, I'll erase my post and we'll reshape the reality)
Aidwyn, seeing Obadiah and Spira both wounded, moves to the tiefling cleric's side, trying to capture the brute's attention with sword and shield blows.

Aidwyn, seeing Obadiah and Spira both wounded, moves to the tiefling cleric's side, trying to capture the brute's attention with sword and shield blows.
The half-orc scornfully glares at the girl, deflecting the sword slash easily with his Battleaxe and kicking her swiftly back when she tries to trip him with her shield.
"Maybe you still need to suckle some milk," the 'king' scoffs, "before you can fight me! Surrender, before I have to spank you!"
Now Round 2 starts! Spira, Obadiah and Roxana are up!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Further enraged by the arrogance of the half-orc zhentarim, the winged snake poison still burning in his blood, the white-haired warrior wades into battle once more, almost pushing the tiefling and the armored girl aside as he strides to the zhent's flank, sending his blade in a wide arc. "SUCKLE ON THIS ZHENT!"

As she reaches out to invoke magical healing upon the white haired warriors, Spira laughs in the Zhentarim leader's face. "If you're yelping for the guards you left at the front door ... or the back ... we already had the distinct displeasure of making their acquaintance. Half of them died of their own stench before we could even reach them, I believe, and the other half got dehydrated pissing themselves when they saw us coming. We' on the other hand, bring our own reinforcements with us."
