The leap is remarkable (for a disembodied hand), but the range is short... Obadiah just tilts his head back a little to avoid the blow.
Seeing someone attack, Roxana lets go of her arrow and hits the floating head right in the forehead. The force of the blow makes it wobble for a moment, but it's hard to get an accurate idea of the damage done to… something that's already dead!
"It doesn't seem to be interested in letting us go back up.", Spira growls. "Let me see if I can back it away from us instead." She draws her crescent amulet over her neck and sweeps it before her in a larger crescent motion from left to right to cover all three parts of the Undead Horror, chanting in Elvish as she does so. Lacy webs of silver fire are left behind in the air that blossom out towards the Horror, reaching to snare it and push it back.

Channel Divinity: Turn Undead
As an action, you present your holy symbol and speak a prayer censuring the undead. Each undead that can see or hear you within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw. If the creature fails its saving throw, it is turned for 1 minute or until it takes any damage.
A turned creature must spend its turns trying to move as far away from you as it can, and it can’t willingly move to a space within 30 feet of you. It also can’t take reactions. For its action, it can use only the Dash action or try to escape from an effect that prevents it from moving. If there’s nowhere to move, the creature can use the Dodge action.
Lacy webs of silver fire blossom out towards the Horror, reaching to snare it and push it back... But the head seems to simply gnash in anger, more furious than scared, and the claws simply keep crawling towards you all...
(OOC: Taking Aidwyn's turn) Aidwyn turns momentarily to the stairs, when a strategic retreat is suggested…but the rustic warrior refocuses on her enemies, realizing that the final decision seems to have been to stop and fight.
Keeping the shield ready to deflect any blows, the fighter snaps the blade of her sword to slice Right Claw.
The sword swings once, twice, three times in quick succession, cutting the fingers of the self-moving claw and then splitting it in half. The disembodied hand, reduced to immobile rotting shreds, is decidedly out of action.
To better protect his companions, Aidwyn takes a few steps, always on guard.
Unimpressed by the horrendous end of its own kind, the monster's other claw takes a short run on its fingers and leaps towards the young warrior, trying to scratch her leg.
But our heroine just lowers her shield and the disembodied claw can't help but bounce back, ineffective, lacking the mass to overcome such a defense.
In the meantime, Solitude leans out and takes aim with her crossbow, trying to control her arms, which are still shaking a little due to the mistreatment she suffered during her long imprisonment.
The tiefling fires a bolt at the Undead Horror's head...
Showing poor aim, Solitude holds the crossbow pointed too high... the bolt doesn't even pass close to the floatring head, but hits the ceiling and ricochets away.
The floating head glared at its attackers from range, but with Aidwyn now barring its way, it was forced to postpone any retaliation and turned its dead eyes to the very much alive warrior.
It flies at her by feinting in one direction and then floating in the other; its rotting jaws open, its head tries to bite...

Some part of the white-haired warrior registers Roxana's plea for withdrawal but before he can even react the battle is already in full swing. Obadiah swiftly avoids a pesky undead hand that is quickly dealt with by Aidwyn, and then he charges the remaining undead body parts with a roar of fury.
Move to square south of Aidwyn and attack hand recklessly. Great Sword: 21 Slashing: 11
If hand goes down use bonus action to cleave through to the head. Great Sword: 13 Slashing: 9
Obadiah comes last, but certainly not least! The woodsman launches himself on the remaining parts of Undead Horror with ruthless fury: a first blow of the heavy blade hits Left Claw in full, sending it to fall, cut in two, in a dark corner of the dungeon. With his return blow, the savage fighter opens a large cut in the middle of the monster's head, which grinds its teeth for one last time... before crashing to the ground, splitting like a rotten melon in a decomposed pulp.
Only the stench of decay still hangs over the battlefield...the enemies have all been slain.
(OOC: Gratz! End of combat! You are victorious! You can act out of rounds now)
The fight was over almost before it started and the white-haired warrior found himself almost feeling disappointed as he stood over the decomposed head of the undead entity. "Let's continue." He turns and says with an almost apologetic look, mostly to the girl from Longsaddle who had been leading the expedition of late, also giving Aidwyn an acknowledging look for bravely protecting the others of the team.
"I suppose we continue," Roxana says cautiously. "Though they're could be other guards." She makes sure that everyone has flags or is holding hands before going. "I would have rather just avoided a fight, if we could have reset the intruder alert. But, that was a great job Obidiah."
"The alert was different this time, for sure. You're right, there's no sense trying to reset it again now we saw how well that worked this time.", Spira agrees. "And Aidwyn and Obadiah both did a great job there. Let's do this then."

The white-haired warrior is caught off guard with the praise, he realizes it felt good and that it had been a long time since he felt needed. Acknowledging Roxana's and Spira's words with a quick nod he then falls in line to proceed, sheathing his mighty blade and holding his yellow flag forth before him. It still troubled him that he seemed to need a fight to do something right.
Gaer joins in the praise of the pair of warriors: "Well done, Aidwyn and Obadiah, my sister is absolutely right, you both did a great job there!"
Then, turning to the woodsman, he adds: "Maybe we are not 'mates', but I admit that I am pleased that at least we are fighting on the same side".
Solitude also compliments the pair, even if she seems embarrassed: "Yes, really good. I would have liked to be able to help better... I had better aim before... experiencing the hospitality of this place. I hope I can recover it".
(OOC: So... Roxana now, if I understand correctly, wants to lead the party exploring, from the east alcove, along the east - east - north - east route? Asking, because last time, once you get to east-east-north the alarm went off... I don't know if it matters much to you, at this point, but if in doubt, I'll let you know...)
