(OOC: Rash will go along with it if Aidwyn wants to open the door before getting Anita and Solitude... he mostly just doesn't want to leave them alone for however many hours it might take to read through all the tomes)

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
"If there are a few books that seem very important, why not take them now. The rest, we leave for later. I'm not sure how long we'll be here, but we didn't leave Longsaddle until well into the day. We're likely to have to rest here tonight. And parsing through the books could be left for then," Roxana suggests. 'Assuming this is a safe spot,' she thinks.
"Once we grab the books let's check the other door and then get back to Anita and Solitude."
With general consensus, Aidwyn approaches and opens the last door... but, as soon as he does, a mysterious glyph starts to glow, completely filling the corridor, up to the double doors, with dim greenish light!
"If we're sure we won't need them for whatever's behind that door.,," Spira mutters. "And that we can survive whatever they do to us for starting the fun without them if it turns out we do."

Spira also needs to roll her save. Only Anita and Solitude do not need, for the still closed double door gives them total cover from the effect.
(OOC: Great... I'm just waiting for Aidwyn's Wisdom Saving Throw too, then I'll narrate what happens... Given the setup you've done and the results of your saves, it should be fun)
As the magical light illuminates the corridor, a feeling of pure terror suddenly overtakes you - the feeling is almost as if Balfby is howling at you... even if you don't hear any particular sounds or experience any frightening hallucinations - the fear simply begins to grip your hearts and to flow through your veins with the rapidity of an electric discharge!
Aidwyn, Roxana, Gaer and Zentromya seem to be able to push back this unnatural feeling and, although pale and shaken, they maintain control of themselves.
But for Spira and Rash the power of the supernatural emotion is too much! With a blood-curdling cry of pure terror, they both drop what they're holding (including any Kylth's Purple Flags) and make a desperate dash away, toward the double doors! From the way they grope, holding their hands forward, it is clear that, having dropped the flags, they cannot see, but despite this, they are running like hell, not minding in the least the risk of stumbling or hitting an unseen obstacle.
"It must be a powerful influence indeed the one that has struck us!" Zentromya exclaims telepathically "My aura was supposed to protect you (and me) from spells... except the very powerful ones! What do we do now?"
Gaer, without even wasting time in answering, begins to run after his sister, who, together with Rash, reaches the double door. The two frantically try to open it, but, perhaps hindered by the pure terror that grips them, they seem unable to succeed in the usually simple task. Gaer reaches her sister and tries to block her in a bear hug, while ordering her: "Sergeant Quspira Inirali! Stop immediately and hold your position!"
Meanwhile, on the other side of the double door, the voices of Anita and Solitude ask, worried: "What is it? What's going on?" "Do you need any help?"
Rash then shouts at the top of his lungs: "Yeeeesss! Anita, open up now!"
Roxana heads off after Gaer and the others. As she goes, a thought occurs to her, "Aidwyn, try closing the door. Maybe that'll help end the effect?" Since Gaer was focused on Spira, she approaches Rash. "Come on Rash, everything is fine. It's just a spell! Nothing is wrong here."
Aidwyn hurries to close the door, but the move doesn't seem to have any effect... The mysterious glyph that has appeared remains visible and its light continues to illuminate in a wide radius.
Meanwhile, Anita and Solitude, worried about Rash's cry, open the double doors...
...and immediately the same violent wind as before starts blowing again!
Aidwyn and Zentromya are out of reach (the wind originates from a point closer to the double doors than them), but Gaer, Spira, Roxana, Rash, Anita and Solitude are fully invested.
Anita and Solitude, who were sharing a Kylth's Purple Flag, are, as usual, unaffected. Gaer and Roxana probably had a flag of their own... and are unaffected too. Spira and Rash, however, shocked by terror, have no flags... and the wind threatens to blow them away!
(OOC: Rash, Spira, please, roll a Strength Saving Throw)
The strong wind catches Spira completely unprepared, throwing her towards the dead-end to the east! Gaer, who was trying to hold her, tries his best not to let his sister go...
