Alright... It's never been her favorite thing to do, but when duty calls, she answers. Lehmani takes a breath and allows herself to tap into the magic of her infernal bloodline to cast Thaumaturgy, which instantaneously causes the unlocked door to fly open and unleash whatever's behind it.

Grymar leaves his war hammer holstered for this one, he takes out his walking stick and says Kombucha! and rares back with it, bent at the knees, wiggling his butt and arms back and forth, holding the stick upright, he says “Let’s play a little game, needle nose ball, ready to bat ‘em outta the sky, open up that door, lass!” With the first little needle head that he sees, he takes a swing with his magical stick, hoping to hit a home run.
Shillelagh : 13 to hit, for 9 points of damage on the first visible stirge.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Berkarak resets his spectacles and readies an Eldritch blast for the first surviving sturge to make it through the door. (Nat 20 for a 24 to hit, 10 force damage)
All - As soon as the door is flung open a pair of stirges boil into the room and beginn trying to pierce Kalhala with their pointy snouts.
ROUND 1
The first scrabbles ineffectually against his armor but the second latches on to the fur where his neck meets his shoulder and drives its proboscis into his neck. The stirge begins drawing deeply upon Kalhala's blood and he takes 5 points of piercing damage.
Another pair veer off toward Grymar and both manage to find gaps in his armor, dealing a total of 10 points of piercing damage.
The final two bee line for Zubien, but neither of them manage to get a hold of him.
The party is up!
Kalhala - The sudden drop in blood pressure causes your vision to dim and your limbs to feel leaden for a moment, allowing the Stirge to dodge your attack.
Grymar - You feel a piercing in your upper back and swing your weapon haphazardly over your shoulder, but fail to hit the stirge there.
Berkarak - You watch as Grymar swings his weapon at the Stirge on his back without success and send your eldritch blast streaking across the room, hitting the stirge dead on. It's squished, spattering the area with Grymar's blood.
Lehmani and Zubien are up! There is one Stirge attached to the back of Kalhala's neck, and another attached to Grymar's front. One is still trying to get to Kalhala while two more are harrying Zubien.
As she draws her mace, Lehmani's attention turns to the brazier of scented smoke and calls out, "The smoke! Wild thought, but perhaps it was used as a defense against these creatures by those who kept them." She moves to the stige behind Zubien and takes a swing at it (Oh dear... Nat 1... 3 damage...<cringe> Sorry Zubien).

Lehmani - The stirge dips under your swing, buzzing frantically around Zubien.
Zubien - Your sword slices naught but thin air as the stirge evades the swing.
ROUND 2
The stirges attached to both Grymar and Kalhala greedily drink of their lifeblood, swelling in size and dealing an additional 5 points of damage to each. Sated, they detach and ponderously attempt to fly back into the room they came from. Both Kalhala and Grymar may make attacks of opportunity against them if they wish.
The other Stirge still attacking Kalhala also manages to attach near his neck and begin drawing blood, dealing 8 points of piercing damage. (Both the attack last round and this round were crits! Big target I guess...)
The two striges flitting around Zubien dart in simultaneously and both are able to latch on, dealing a total of 9 points of damage.
The party is up! There is one Stirge attached to Kalhala and two attached to Zubien. Be aware that hitting a stirge that is attached to a target may damage that target as well or instead! You may simply use an action to remove the stirge. Unless you also make a grapple roll to hold on to it, it will simply detach and fly about.
Kalhala swings his sword after the stirge that flies away.
Attack: 11, and if that hits, Dam: 11
He then stands there a second, feeling woozy as the other one draws more blood from the minotaur. He reaches up to it and peels the creature off him, tossing him as far away as he can.
Lehmani's going to take a whack at one of the unattached stirges with her mace... (Oy yoy yoy... facepalm.... 7 to hit...) In very un-Lehmani-like fashion, she curses loudly in frustration.

Berkarak begins to shoot another bolt of crackling energy at a stirge, but stops as he realizes he can't get a good shot without putting Zubien at risk, so he instead darts forward to pull one off of Zubien. He tries to hold it by its wings, away from his own face. (Athletics to grapple 16)
AoO against the stirge that is as full as a tick flying away from Grymar : 24 to hit, for 7 points of bludgeoning damage. The Gathered Swarm of bees fly down and do an additional 2 points of damage.
“These buggers are makin’ me .. dizzy…. “
Seeing the big Minotaur reeling as well, he decides to move beside Kalhalla and yank the one out of him, attempting to grab it and squeeze it. “C’mere you!”
Athletics : 11

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Kalhala - The engorged strige lazily dips under your swing and buzzes away, heading for a large descending stairway in the room beyond.
Lehmani - The buzzing blighters are hard to hit and your attack misses.
Berkarak - You pull the stirge free and it begins beating its many wings though you manage to maintain your hold on it. The long tube-like mouth frantically tries to find something to pierce but it can't quite manage with the angle.
Grymar - The bulbous stirge pops like an overfull wineskin, spattering the floor with your blood. Then, wresting one from Kalhala, you manage to remove and hold on to it but find it hard to squish.
Zubien - You are able to slice one of the stirges off.
ROUND 3
The stirges in Grymar and Berkarak's grasps will attempt to free themselves. Both manage to wriggle free! They are buzzing near Grymar and Berkarak, looking for flesh to sink their proboscis' into.
Getting frustrated with his lack of contact with the buggers, Kalhala turns towards the one sandwiched between himself and Lehmani, hoping some flanking will give him the advantage he needs.
Using his longsword again, he attacks (Attack: 18, Dam: 11), being careful not to hit anything past the flying pest.
Berkarak starts to blast the stirge he had been holding only to watch it splatter blood and gore all over Lehmani from Kalhala's attack. He just grins sheepishly at Lehmani, then, seeing another stirge escape Grymar's hands, pulls out his quarterstaff, casts a quick Shillelagh on it, and swats at the stirge. (19 to hit for 7 bludgeoning damage)
Edit: grammar and oops, the stirges had gotten free
Grymar hunts for the last stirge, whipping his stick around at a rapid rate and clocks it full on in the head. “Howyalikethatone ya fiendish bloodsucker ya! Givin ya the one, two, three!” He smacks it out of the ballpark and holds his hands up weakly to celebrate. “Whooo. I’m pooped. Damn fleshy mosquitoes…”
Shillelagh : Nat 20 + 5 = 25 to hit, for 8 points of bludgeoning damage and 1 point of additional stinging damage from the ethereal gathered storm bees…
