All - A trickle of water seeping down from the hillside above reaches this irregular cavern, nourishing a profusion of fungus—weird puffballs, tall caps, and patches of fuzzy mold in a variety of colors. A golden-brown carpet of mold covers an old skeleton in rusted mail in the southern part of the room, and a narrow passageway leads to another small room beyond this one. A surprisingly bright sword gleams in the skeleton’s bony grasp.
Zubien - You don't hear anything out of the ordinary at the moment.
Lehamni cocks an eyebrow. "The state of this chamber concerns me, but I feel I must at least inspect that sword to see if it's one of Durgeddin's."
She inspects the room to see if anything looks like it might spring to life and attack....
"Should we take position just in case there's some hungry something hiding among these mushrooms?"
Once the others have made their decision and readied themselves, she will go in and inspect the blade. If it bares Durgeddin's mark, she'll retrieve it.

Berk is still quite bloodied and tired, so he moves to the north corner of the cavern to lean against the stone as his friends inspect the cavern and sword, still breathing into his elbow.
Grymar stays near the opening, hand over his mouth and nose. He releases over his mouth quickly so that he can speak, then he backs up toward the opening. “I don like tha, Lehmani. This creepy fungusy stuff in here. Bad for ya lungs. Best to leave alone. Everyone back away from this crap. I don like it…”

Lehmani continues staring at the sword, shaking her head. "I'm sorry. I'm here to recover Durgeddin's steel. If there's any chance this is one of his blades, I can't walk away."She turns to look back at the others, an apologetic look in her eye. "But, perhaps, there's a wiser way to do this. We can test the ground to see if the fungus responds. Or, I could see if I can hook the sword with my grappling hook... I'm open to other ideas... and if you all need to keep your distance while I go to recover the blad, I'll certainly understand... I just simply can't leave a potential treasure like this behind."

“Okay, okay, okay…”. Grymar says, considering. Scratching his beard, a bee crawls out and takes flight, then, if you were watching closely, appears to wave at him. It is as if a light bulb goes off over his head. “Tha bees. Never forget the bees! Thanks pal!” He shooshes everyone out of the room and then when as far away as possible, he forms his glowing bees in the shape of a floating hand and sends it over to pull the sword away from the dead adventurer and bring it over to the group.
Grymar - The bees buzz over the fungus to the dwarven corpse to tug the blade free. The carpet of mold covering the corpse is split open as the blade comes loose, revealing a profusion of red-capped mushrooms underneath. The bees carry the blade over to you.
All - Looking at the sword you do indeed see Durgeddin's smith-mark, a heron stamped near the base of the blade. Anyone that touches it will sense that it is a longsword, +1.
Zubien - As the others inspect the blade you hear a faint sound from the fungus filled room, a sort of squeaking. Glancing back toward the dwarven corpse that held the blade, you see one of the red-capped mushrooms wriggle and quiver as it squeaks. The rest of the mushrooms slowly begin to quiver and squeak, suddenly filling the cavern with their noise. More and more of the mushrooms begin to boil up from beneath the carpet of mold, creating a tumbling wave of squeaking mushrooms that begins to cascade across the room towards you!
All - The chamber is suddenly filled with a cacophony of squeaking as tiny red-capped mushrooms begin erupting out of the fungus filled floor. Each has a little face that is twisted in anger as it emits a shrill squeak. The mushrooms form a bubbling wave of fungus that begins filling the space and threatening to overwhelm you all!
Grymar quickly hands the sword with his apiary hand over to Lehmani and backs up, hoping to create a bottle neck. “Kalhalla, need your muscle now, squish these little shroomy shrooms!” Grymar backs as far as he can make it, letting Kalhalla lead.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Kalhala's eyes bulge as the plethora of mushrooms roll over themselves to start falling through their open doorway. "I um... um..." He starts mumbling as he backs away the tartan cloth pulled tight over his mouth.
"Surely these things can't outrun us! Let's just move, move, move!" And he takes a swing at the closest group while backing away.
Attack: 12, Damage: 7
He also takes a couple deep breaths, settling in his second wind as he is hurting pretty bad.
Kalhala - Your sword slashes the roiling mass of mushrooms. Whatever damage was done is lost as more and more of them pour over each other. The wave slams into you as you back away, luckily your armor prevents you taking any damage but you get the sense that if you were to become overwhelmed it wouldn't be good.
Please make a DC 10 WIS Save with ADV as a cloud of spores washes over you.
Lehmani will shout for the others to run as she covers her own mouth. She’ll Dash as far as she can, following the others, but won’t get further than 30’ of Kalhala, maintaining line of sight. If it looks like he’s about to be overrun by the shrooms she’ll cast Sanctuary to protect him.

Kalhala - You feel a tickle in your nose and try as you might, you can't suppress it. You sneeze heavily and in doing so inhale a lungful of the spores. You immediately feel lethargic and your arms drop to your sides. Your feet become heavy and your gait sluggish. You are incapacitated and your speed is halved.
All - You watch as Kalhala tries and fails to suppress a sneeze, inhaling some of the yellow-ish spores that have filled the air around him. His posture becomes slumped and his arms drop to his sides. The avalanche of mushrooms bludgeons and presses down upon him, pouring between his legs and squeezing past where they can in the tight space.
ROUND 1
As this is a time sensitive event, I have rolled initiative.
The swarm acts first (14 vs. 10.8).
Knots of tightly packed mushrooms form in the mass and they seem to be making ready to slam into Kalhala when suddenly a bright golden light erupts around the Minotaur. Gyrating cogs seemingly made of pure light spin around him and the swarm falters in its attack under their bright glare. The mushrooms continue to proliferate.
Berkarak clutches at his crystal but has a panicked look on his face, not knowing how to help, and not wanting to cause more trouble by running in as he did with the waterfall.
He'll close to 20' of Kalhala, hoping to maintain 20' of distance to any shrooms, calling out, "How can I help!?"
If Berk loses sight of Kalhala under the shrooms, he will dive in to try to drag him out. Else he'll use the dodge action for now.
