"I wouldn't put it quite like that my dear Necyra..." Myles answers his lovely winged associate in a lowered voice. "...my guess is they are all really scared of what's in there. I doubt the children are simply lost in there, something has happened to them and I think we just have to go inside to investigate. If I'm not mistaken, our way of entry is that mine cart over there." He says, inclining his head to the dragon head on wheels.
With suspicious eye on the weird monkey, the investigator then addresses the old crone. "The parents of those children are worried for them but I think you know that. Why don't you simply let them go before Siszhu over there goes in there looking for them, your house of fun will never be quite the same after a visit from him I can assure you."He says with a firm voice, not quite expecting the crone to hand over the children but hopefully to have some useful information out of her.
Deception: 27 Insight: 10
(Passive perception 21 and Passive investigation 20 due to Observant feat. Can see invisible and ethereal stuff and through magical darkness up to 120 feet.)
“More like house of boooo-rrrrring” Necyra wise cracks to the old crone.
Boredom already setting in with these creepy mechanoids, Necyra saunters over to Neph and pokes him in the ribs. “What’cha finding out about this place, ol’ baldy?”
Siszhu hisses at the mechanical thingamajig as it dodges his blow and pulls back for another punch... But then coughs a couple of times, clears his throat, then pulls the core of the apple out of his mouth. He looks at it quizzically once or twice but then shrugs, tosses it back in his mouth, chomps it in half and swallows. Forgetting he was angry at the mechanized unit, Siszhu moves down the lines to the next one and is entering a silver even as he hears Myles mention his name.
"Huh?" he poetically asks, looking back at those talking to the woman and the monkey. "Monkey!!" he calls out with a smile but drops his coin in the slot, hoping for another snack before he goes and sees if the simian is edible or not.
To'Kurr nods his head along to what the old woman is saying, but all the while he gives the mine cart a very close inspection. There's no point willing sitting down in something that's going to trap you right away.

Nephvir chuckles when Necyra talks smack to the old crone. When his invisible hand returns with contents from her pockets, he examines them under his cloak, then leans in close to Necyra, replying “All she had in her pockets were some old Sour Apple Werthers, an empty “Milk Duds” box, and a dried up stick of something labeled “Juicy Fruit”. Nothing helpful.. at all. If you’ve got a play here, let’s make it, *****cat.”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The crone looks over to Siszhu, apparently trying to size him up after what Myles stated. "You know... I bet he could make some changes to our funhouse...change can be good! You never know till you try." She looks back at Myles with a hungry look in her eyes. "The parents?" she considers, buying into his words, "Yes, I'm sure they are, but my concerns are with Happy Jack, not them. And I'm sure the children are much happier too!"
The woman ignores the crack from the tiefling as she watches To'Kurr check out the cart.
Siszhu deposits his coin in the third cart from the funhouse, and like the other one, the mechanical human comes to life whirring and whizzing around till it holds out a corn dog on a stick.
The investigator lets out a small sigh. "So please, tell us about your Happy Jack then, what does he want the children for and why won't he let them go?"He continues, looking intently into the eyes of the old crone.
(Casting Detect Thoughts, first round surface thoughts and then Wis save 18 to resist a deeper probe.)
“We going for a ride?” Siszhu asks, corn dog swallowed, stick being used to pick his teeth. He’s bored with investigating.
“Let’s grab the monkey and climb aboard. I ain’t rided one of these things…” Siszhu just end there. No “Since a kid” or anything. He’s just never ridden one and is eager to find out what happens.
"I don't think it's that kind of groovy ride, man," To'Kurr says. "I think it's, like, going to take us on a magical ride. A dimensional gateway kind of thing, man."
He looks over at the monkey.
"But could be wild to see what happens man if you like grab the monkey."
The crone looks Myles directly back and answers, "Why, you'd have to ask him that, wouldn't you?" she cackles a bit afterwards, her creepy smile still on her face.
The visibly decaying looking monkey stops dancing and looks up at Siszhu with an expression that reads, 'huh'?
As Siszhu seems eager to get into the mine cart and go inside the mysterious funhouse, Myles decides it is time to wrap up investigations outsid. There was never a good idea to let the Yuan-Ti get too restless, things started to break and people get hurt, better to get inside before reaching that point. "Thank you for your time then, we will have a talk with Happy Jack, but if the children is not all well and happy when we find them I can assure you we will mete out swift justice for all those involved in them not being with their parents now, you included." He says grimly to the old crone, the turning to head over to the mine cart. "Alright team, time to have a talk with Happy Jack." He calls out to his associates, calling the invisible Edgar to his shoulder as he is ready to follow the others into the mine cart.
"Come!" Siszhu says with his fearsome grin on his toothy maw. "Ride with us!" This directed to the monkey, even as Siszhu bending his knees and reaching out for the monkey. His intent is to pick up the diminutive simian and jump into the cart... But I think we all know there may be a wrinkle or two that prevents such shenanigans.
Necyra responds back to Neph with a wide, kitty-cat yawn. "<yawwwwwwwwn> Man-oh-man, this kiddy park is lame-o. Who the hell would pay to send their kiddos here, anyway? I've seen rat-infested sewer systems that are more entertaining than this joint."
Continuing, "...well, maybe we humor Siszhu and let him play with monkeys....again. Hopefully this time he doesn't eat 'em before we make use of 'em!"
Neph smiles and says “C’mon. The show is starting.” He nods in acknowledgment to Myles, he bends down making a dramatic bow to Necyra, saying “After you, my dear.” If she gets into the car he will climb in as well, sitting beside her. “I wonder if this will be any better if we use To’Kurr’s roll now? I hope it doesn’t make you too giggly, remember that one batch where he had you laughing your ass off? I think that’s maybe the only way this kiddy park will get more interesting…”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The crone instantly brandishes a whip in one hand, still curled up, but thrusts it inbetween Siszhu and the monkey. Her creepy smile falters briefly, but comes back, "Feebles is my monkey. Go find your own."
As she sees the others get into the cart, the brief hostility the woman showed melts away as she waves her open hand to the cart, "Yes, yes, all aboard!"
The old woman looks at Siszhu and is about to respond when she sees that everyone is piling into the cart. Smiling at this, she heads back to her organ grinder and starts cranking it again.
Once all the safety harnesses are latched, the cart begins to move and the rail system magically manifests. Strangely, the cart heads away from the funhouse and you see the rail extending several hundred feet throughout the town. As you pick up speed, you hang on to the cart as it goes through loops, barrel rolls, hammerhead turns, corkscrew drops, high-speed curves and you charge throughout the entire village, catching glimpses of it as you speed through.
The new rail system eventually leads to the painted, open mouth of the face of Happy Jack on the front of the funhouse. When the cart reaches the mouth, a bright light flashes and the cart and rail system continue into the funhouse, which as To'Kurr predicted is a pocket dimension.
The cart pulls to a stop adjacent to a wooden dock where there are two options. An open doorway at one end of the dock that from here looks like a waiting room, or the other end from where you came is a a door that has a sign reading 'EXIT'.
As you all exit the coaster, please roll a CON save.

"Make you deal," Siszhu offers. "You wait here. I return with Happy Jack's head, Feebles is my monkey... Deal!"
