Krackle dexterously reaches into the man's mouth and dislodges a golf ball sized mound of flesh. Which then sprout bony legs and mandible. It tries to run up Krackle's arm
Zeds ministrations does not wake the comatose man. The whole camp wake in an uproar of people looking for attackers and hastily putting on armor and grabbing their weapons. Faelsin heads over to Zeds and Krackle "What is going on? What happened to the teamsters?"
"WHAT IS THIS!?! AHHHH!!! Get it off!" Krackle shouts as he attempts to toss the creature off of his arm... swatting it frantically with his free hand.
"Beats me? How did the shouting not wake the whole damn caravan already??" Zeds asks, annoyed, and scans the new comers looking to see if the robed hooded figures are among them.
Zeds sees the robed figures at the edge of the circle of wagons. They seem unperturbed by the proceeding events.
Krackle swats the spider and feels a wet spongey texture as is falls to the ground and runs in the direction of the robed figures and vanishes out of sight when it runs behind the figure in white rags.
He's not wrong... probably, Zeds thinks to himself and surreptitiously draws his weapons, but we have no real proof yet. That thing could have just run in a random direction...
Still, Zeds wasn't going to NOT back up his teammate so he climbs to his feet and moves into position in case anything comes of Ironthar's accusations.
Krackle shudders as the creepy spider thing skitters off behind the hooded figures. "Stay back you two..." The kobold says as he casts bonfire behind the hooded figures as Inronthar approached them. He had hoped that the fire would help to prevent their escape and also help reveal if these two figures were ones that didn't like fire..
The man in red robes raises his pale hands into the air "I am just a fellow traveler. No need to get violent. We have been staying together most of the day and night. There is no reason for us to pay and then cause such a commotion."
The being in white takes a step forward to guard the man in red robes.
Krackle's insight - you get the feeling that the man in red robes is speaking the truth though Krackle gets the sense he is reluctant to share everything he knows.
"We are only along for the ride, and I feel no obligation to share my origins with you. As for the Critter it is not a pet, and I don't know where it went. As for whatever is afflicting the teamster I cannot say for certain but perhaps he encountered a ghostly spirit of some sort, and they are known to drain the life force from the living." says the man in red robes.
"There might be a way, but I am no cleric. I would need a sacrifice so I can impart the life force from one creature to another and I would need it to be at least the same size of a humanoid or larger. So, a rabbit won't do. Maybe a deer or moose" says the man in red robes.

“I knew it! It came from the robed man.” Shouts Ironthar as he walk towards the two robed figure, glaive in his hand.
“Reveal yourself hooded men. Or I ran you through with my glaive.” Ironthar prepares to attack.

"We are not judges or executioners," Zeds whispers to Ironthar. "Seems without proof we have to relay on the head of the caravan to decide...?"
Krackle looks the figures up and down, trying to decide if they are telling the truth...

“Reveal your face behind the hood, then we talk.” Ironthar still holding and aiming his glaive at the two mysterious people.
The man in red robes slowly lowers his hood.
"Now can we talk like civilized people."
“Who are you and where you’re from? Also, that critter I saw that it moves towards you. Is it your pet? It almost killed a man, you know?”
"And another will not awaken," Zeds adds. "Do either of you know anything about this? We had no trouble before taking on the two of you."
