"As long as the mud isn't 'important' per se..."Moneo says, as he pulls out his pen and starts waving it over himself, cleaning the mud off. Once he feels presentable he says to the king, taking the book, "Ah yes! And how do we find her? Is there anything else we should know to prepare for our meeting?" All the while, he keeps his eyes out ((perception 20)) for any suspicious behavior, or anyone from the 'revolution'.
"Her cottage is at the centre of the lake. If you don't feel like swimming, you might be able to find some bullywugs willing to boat you across."
There is nothing making a revolutionary person obvious. And no one acting suspicious. But then as you are leaving you do hear someone whispering to someone else about Illig.
Fa'ame, this is Bavlorna's Big Book of Bad Blood and contains the hag’s displeasure with her enemies spelled out in detail. The most recent entry is about King Gullop himself, about the fact he let the prisoner escape.
Fa'ame will continue flipping through the book, searching for juicy details both for their current mission and for stories she can add to her collection of tragedies and tales of woe.

"As members of the Court, I would rather not swim. We must be presentable," Moneo says, looking towards the nearest courtier adding, "You, who would be willing to boat us to the island?"
Then, quietly to the others he says, "I think I heard something about Illig just a minute ago... I worry that this King may not have his throne long."
Fa'ame. You see countless pages about Skabatha and Endelyn, both of whom are described as her sisters. You manage to find a page talking about a wood elf called Octavian too. He came looking for a way to forget his lost loves, but after they agreed on a deal, he refused to pay up angering her greatly. He had agreed to give up his still beating heart so as punishment, she took it anyway, replacing it with a goats heart so that he didn't die, but he couldn't feel emotion either.
"There is no island. It is on stilts in the lake. And just the other side of the palace is a dock. You might find someone who is going in that general direction for a leisurely boat ride."
Barreknar still playing with his cape trying to get it to blow I'm the breeze. Not really sure the best path forward with rebellion and hag and lost prisoner. He thought it best to follow Moneo's lead for now.
The Eladrin follows, slowly cleaning her new dress while grumbling, though her focus is primarily the hag. She's likely not going to appreciate their encroachment. Will she know we're coming? Will she feign ignorance? Too many concerns muddle her brain, so she focuses on her gown, if only for the moment.
Fa'ame recounts what she learns from Bavlorna's book, making particular note of the antipathy she has toward her sisters... "Perhaps that can be of use to us in our dealings with her."She adds.

You reach the dock and there is in fact one boat getting ready to sail. Though they do inform you that their current plan is just to sail the short distance to the dock on the south. There is land pretty much fully enclosing a lake that the hag is sat on.
Fa'ame. One of them is the bullywug who slipped you the note.
How many bullywugs are there and how occupied are they? Does it look like Fa'ame could grab an opportunity to sidle over to the one who slipped her the note and whisper something to themm?

Walking up and seeing people get ready for the boat, Moneo looks to his companions and those readying the boats and simply walks up to the nearest and says, "We're on a mission from the king. We need to get to the middle of the lake. Will you take us?"
I was going to have Moneo let Fa go first, but I rolled a 7 insight just for fun, so I'll play it as that Moneo is oblivious to the glances and sidling that is happening off to the side. Sorry :P We can still play their interaction out first, but I just had to get Moneo being dumb in here~
Fa'ame will simply look quietly at the "revolutionary" bullywug to see if she can read anything about him. Does he seem like he wants to communicate? Is he putting on a false front for his companion's sake? Is he ignoring her completely?

Eliaanore is... jumpy. Court politics was never her favorite subject. This? This was downright dangerous. She has a few spells that could help if that danger presents itself. A few, not many. The hag still being the greater threat doesn't stop her from silently bemoaning the lesser ones. Dammit.
Barreknar is feeling super important with his cape on. He focused on also looking important as he doesn't fully understand what's going on around him at the moment
"We are on our way to see a friend. I am afraid we can't be late, that would not be a good show of etiquette. But we can take you across the other side and see if anyone else is going on a boat. It is but a couple of minutes row."
Fa'ame, they do look at you when talking about seeing a friend.
Fa'ame moves swiftly to the boat. "Far be it for us to cause a breach in etiquette... We, ourselves are on the way to meet this Slack-jaw Lorna who seems to hold much dominion over this land... An errand assigned by the current monarch." She lets her emphasis on that descriptor hang in the air for a moment before clearing her throat and continuing.
"The errand itself is of no consequence to us, but an audience with Lorna is something of great interest..." She looks at the bullywug, knowingly. "I don't suppose either of you, or... say... your friend have any thoughts or advice on dealing with the lady of the lake, would you?"

"No advice I would say. Other than don't anger her or back out of a deal. Are you wanting a lift across the water? Or company further if you wish to delay your meeting?"
Fa'ame accepts the book, hiding her eagerness to open it and read what's inside.
The moment they're alone, she will flip through the pages to see what this book contains.

There is two of them. And they look to be heading somewhere together. The second one would see you sidle over and whisper if you do
