Duwamilly may find it hard to doubt her eyes... but if Yasmina thinks that a powerful spellcaster like that scamp Firion might be involved...
"Okay..." the ex-preceptor concedes "Better to be safe than sorry. Fox, dear, do as Yasmina says... move away from that island, please, while we clarify this matter. If it's the real island, it won't move from there anyway".
"Yasmina, if you think that the super-scamp can approach while invisible..." the gnome cleric murmurs to the half-elf "...couldn't it be useful to transform the staff into the python? I remember that he was able to see the Dao even when it had become invisible..."
She then replies to Zander: "Oh, Zander, honey, we suspect that the isle we are seeing it's a fake, after all. An illusion. So, be ready for trouble..."
As Zander's eyes adjust to the light above deck he sees the island and thinking the journey is nearly done. Hearing Duwamilly reassure that it is a fake, he readies himself for battle.
"But it is of utmost importance to get you and the cargo you carry back to the Shaded Isle," he says. His voice sound strangely flat... perhaps just because he's feeling depressed (for obvious reasons) or...

"We need to do something,"Delvindra says as she realizes that she hadn't warned the others, "Fox is enchanted! Get him off of that wheel but try not to hurt him!"
As she hears the tiefling claim Captain Fox is enchanted it quickly makes sense to the red-haired half-elf, and while the green-clad half-elf is trying to forcefully relieve the captain of his duties, Yasmina quickly scans the crew if they too are seeming to be subjected to any enchantment effects.

Duwamilly soon notices that hazy look in the eyes of the captain and his crew... not being an action gnome, she is taken aback for a few moments too long - moments during which some of the ex-accursed make desperate attempts to save the situation. But it is clear that the situation cannot be saved by the handful of ex-accused alone.
"Kids!" the ex-preceptor waves her preceptorial wand threateningly at Delvindra and Zander "Enough! I already have all too vivid memories of the last time you behaved in an unworthy manner on our friend Captain Fox's ship! Stop behaving immediately like undisciplined scamps and come here to me! Now! I'll tell you a few words about how to behave among respectable people..."
The first time Delvindra and Zander lock eyes with her, the gnome cleric furtively winks at them and she nevertheless adds, to Yasmina: "Could you summon Lord Amir, please?" furtive wink "I would like to be sure that these rowdy kids listen to me without causing further trouble..."
When (and if) the ex-accused actually gather around her to be 'scolded', Duwamilly alternates between loud reprimands that the crew can hear and whispers directed only at them. In whispers she suggests: "We must reach the real Shaded Isle as soon as possible and warn Lord Akkron. It is the only hope for us and also for these poor people. Practically the entire crew is under a spell. We cannot free them all by ourselves. Follow me below deck, then let's Wind Walk and fly away".
If no one objects, the ex-preceptor loudly orders: "And now, everyone below deck with me! I want to make sure that at least the last part of the journey is free of further unexpected events and goes as it should!"

(Has Al-Asfeh spotted the real Shaded Isle?)
(Yes... but it's quite a ways off. It looks like the ship has been sailing away for several hours, at absolute minimum)

Delvindra Insight: 13
"Ilmater's Wounds," Delvindra curses under her breath as she digs the Dispel Magic scroll out of her pack and casts it on the enchanted captain...
Gonna need a DC 13 Charisma check to use that, and a second charisma check (DC unknown) to actually dispel the enchantment...

First check, DC13 17

Zander asks Delvindra if we need to stop the ship moving in that direction?
D&D since 1984
"We need to do something," Delvindra says as she realizes that she hadn't warned the others, "Fox is enchanted! Get him off of that wheel but try not to hurt him!"
Zander and his Echo pull Fox off the wheel.
(What should I roll? Athletics?)
D&D since 1984
Yep, go ahead and roll an Athletics check if you're trying to grapple him.
