🤣Delvindra suspects that there may be a temple of Ilmater back the way we came, possibly near where we met, potentially.
...but she isn't sure lol
(OOC: When the Ilmatari gave you guys access to their horses and carriage, the High Priest said that you could return both equines and carriage to a local shrine when you reach the city of Tormere. You can probably drop off your prisoner there as well.)

"There is of course the Ilmateri shrine in Tormere. Is that agreeable for everyone?" Yasmina asks the gnome and the tiefling with a polite smile. "Anyway, we should perhaps get back to the carriage. Cal and Jarro must be wondering."She continues, taking off a strong hempen rope from the side of her backpack, starting to tie the cultist up unless anyone interferes.
Yasmina is ready to head back to the carriage and continue to Tormere :-)
Duwamilly also tries to remember if there is a Garl Glittergold temple nearby... She would feel more comfortable entrusting the Cultist to her own church, since she is much more familiar with it...
Duwamilly, unable to remember the exact location of a Garl Glittergold temple in the city, settles for the only known option that doesn't waste too much time and agrees to the Ilmater temple.
Regardless, with nothing left to do here, the ex-Preceptor obviously agrees to return to the others: "Well said, Yasmina, honey! And good thing Cal and Jarro volunteered to guard the cart... at least we are sure we will find it where we left it and be able to continue the journey. These days, the roads are not safe at all".
The gnome cleric, while continuing to chat uninterruptedly with her ready tongue, which is by now practically equipped with its own will, nevertheless continues to meditate on what she has just learned... 'That exalted Frinion really thinks big... A Great Wyrm... One Who Sleeps... Surely, this thing is something that won't bring anything good... If only that priestess hadn't gotten in the way at the wrong time... Ah, never mind, as in all jokes, we will laugh in the end. However, this is definitely another thing to talk to Lord Akkron about, once we get an audience... I'm sure he'll be interested... No one bothers to become a Lich and prolong forever his stay in the world... only to see the world devastated by who knows what raging draconic power unleashed by an exalted man who had nothing better to do!'
The cultist doesn't have any preference regarding who her captors will be... she seems resigned to whatever you decide to do to her (though... she may still decide to make a break for it if she sees an opportunity).
Duwamilly:
You remember a story that you heard once of a powerful dragon who's greed grew so great that she attempted to conquer the entire world and add all things to her horde. This dragon became so powerful that the gods feared she might soon ascend to godhood... and so seven heroes were chosen to be avatars of the gods, and together they were able to vanquish the mighty dragon and imprison her deep within the earth.
'I really have to tell these things I remembered to the Kids...' ponders Duwamilly 'But I'll wait until the Cultist is no longer with us! I offered her the chance for a new life... and she seems so resigned and defeated that I'd bet she is ready to take it... but I've already met so many kids who have proven to be irreducible in following the wrong paths... I prefer to wait until she is no longer with us, so that if one day she has the unhealthy idea of returning with Frinion and he doesn't fry her on the spot, she knows as little as possible about us'.
Meanwhile, Duwamilly realizes that Cal and Jarro have been silent for a long time... and not just lately - as long as she's known them, she doesn't think she's heard them say more than a handful of words.
"Cal, Jarro... How are you, kids?" the ex-Preceptor tries to address them "You seem so taciturn... Where do you come from? Are you from around here?"
The three women return from their little excursion with a bag full of magic items, three horses, and a prisoner... it seems that their little trip was quite eventful!
But after their roughly 2-hours (hour to reach the camp, a little over an hour to get back because of the difficulty moving three horses and a bound prisoner posed), the little bit of light that was able to penetrate the thick cloud cover is rapidly fading. You still have several hours to go before you reach Tormere... do you opt to press on through the night, or stop and make camp?

"I'm afraid I'm currently without the means to shed light..." admits Duwamilly "so, if it's up to me, we'll have to stop and camp - even though I would really much rather reach the relative safety of Tormere instead!"
"Do any of you, kids, have any means to shed light - or at worst to prevent the animals from breaking a leg while traveling in the dark?" asks the gnome cleric "Yasmina? Delvindra? Cal? Jarro?"
"I have some torches we can use to light the way."
Delvindra doesn't want to say but, although she'd normally prefer to camp out, she's uncomfortable doing so with a group of strangers...especially the nobleman and the cultist.
(OOC: Well, given the high level of magic of the group, I was hoping that we would have even better solutions, but at worst even the torches might be enough to let us continue the journey at night... it should be enough for someone with torches to proceed in front of the animals, I think , to avoid the risk of them getting hurt in a hole... In any case, let's see if anyone else can offer better. Or if someone prefers a healthy night camping in the open air instead, of course)
Cal would respond to the Gnome, "I live only as tribute to my family that was slaughtered. I am sadden that I was not able to assist you on your last fight, the rod thirst for new foes."
(Cal would have taken the time to practice his fighting forms and stay in shape, so he will be ready to continue traveling if that is what everyone wants to do.)
Nice! This would level up us (total 308 XP, enough to get to level 2). How we handle this? We level up tomorrow morning? Or we get the benefits right now? Or...?

You gain the benefits of a level-up after completing a Long Rest.

You think there is a temple somewhere in, or at least near, the city. You don't remember exactly where, though.

Delvindra makes it a point to take the seat closest to the cultist, eyeing her in a predatory way while her tail flicks eagerly...

Oh by the way, I almost forgot... everyone who just participated in that encounter (Delvindra, Duwamilly, and Yasmina) get 33 XP each for that fight.
So, it looks like Delvindra and Duwmilly want to push on through the night. Is that the consensus, or would others prefer to make camp?
