Korba is happy for the support and gracefully steps to the side so that Hewelathan-wolf can pass him and get to the metal snake. He waits for an opening to step forward and attack with his Moonblade.
Movement: None. Remain in melee with the iron cobra. Action: Attack metal snake, Moonblade: 26, Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. (magical slashing)
Hexblade's Curse: metal snake, round 2 of 10
Urgad looks to join the fight against the construct. If there's room for him to engage it in melee (it is currently surrounded by Hewelathan-wolf, Korba, 2 orcs, and Jodie), he attacks with his greataxe. If not, he hurls one (or two?) javelin(s) at the construct.
(OOC: It's not clear to me whether the orog gets multiattack with his javelin or just with the greataxe, but I'll assume that he does. Since the opponent is prone, melee attacks have advantage, but ranged attacks have disadvantage. I think that the following is correct.)
Action: Multiattack the construct Attack #1: 16 and 12 If Greataxe (w/ advantage): 16, Damage: 12 (slashing) If Javelin (w/ disadvantage): 12 (piercing) from Javelin, Damage: 10 (piercing) Attack #2: 20 and 7 If Greataxe (w/ advantage): 20, Damage: 7 (slashing) If Javelin (w/ disadvantage): 7 (piercing) from Javelin, Damage: 10 (piercing)
Yet again, our heroes (and their new friends) have made Swiss cheese out of the monsters...
The metalic snake falls, its metal shell splitting open to reveal the intricate gears and pistons inside. For defeating the snakes, you each receive 220 XP!!
The chamber is quiet now; a large treasure chest stands in the middle of the room, no longer guarded by a clockwork cobra. What does the party do next?

Nickeline goes straight to the metallic snake as soon as it "dies." She's already got her pliers and screwdriver out when she considers that there may not be enough time for her to dismantle the entire snake piece by piece. She looks up at her companions, wondering if they would prefer to continue moving forward quickly (after someone opens the treasure chest, of course).
OOC:
If she can, Nickeline would also collect from the snake materials needed to build a Clockwork Toy with her Tinker rock gnome feature. She needs 10 Gp worth of materials to make the toy, and the harvesting would presumably take a bit of time, if she can't do it now, she'll instead just keep a few springs and gears for fun.
Once the metal snake stops moving, Hewelathan-Wolf nudges it once with his big snout before leaving it to Nickeline. He lopes across the room to the exit that leaves the current chamber and continues north, toward the center of the crypt. Hewelathan thought that they were just going to keep moving room-to-room until Jodie's scroll expired, but when he sees her examining the chest that the snake was protecting, he lies down there on the stone floor. He wonders whether all of the Black Crypt's guards are bound to their rooms or whether the sound of the party's battles will eventually draw others guardians or more wretched undead to them.
Hewelathan-Wolf lies there quietly, alert, peering down the dark tunnel that leads north. He sniffs the air and listens for danger.
Perception: 18, or if the check pertains to hearing or smell, 25, because of the wolf's keen senses.

Korba backs away from the metal snake, sword still held at the ready. As Nickeline starts to mess with the construct, he asks her, "It felt like there was venom in that bite. If there's not a real snake in that body, were its teeth just coated in poison, or...?"
Jodie walks up to the chest, "Well, I'm no rogue but I'll take a look at that chest..." (9, passive 17)
Korba sees Jodie looking at the chest and asks, "Is it locked? I'm afraid that, without Rhaenys's and 'Stafford', we no longer have an easy way to open locks."He smiles briefly at the memory of Rhaenys's struggles with her staff, not to mention Flinn's arguments with his sword. He hopes that their group is in less danger than his group seems to be as they approach an evil undead priestess of Lolth, surrounded by scores of rooms filled with traps and guardians, in a crypt in the middle of a drider-infested city.
If the chest is locked, Korba asks Jodie, "Do we have time to search the room for a key or a magic passphrase? Or just leave it for now and hope to come back after your magic ward against undead has worn off?"
The chest has a rusty lock holding it shut, but it looks like it would probably be relatively easy to either force or pick (DC 10 Athletics or Slight of Hand).

Thinking about the time, Korba says, "Shall we stow these items for later and try to clear one more room while you still have the scroll's protection? That would get us half-way to the priestess's burial chamber." Since Korba tends to fight on the front line, he would like to take one of the potions.
(OOC: @Mister_Whisker - if we give Korba one of the potions, are you able to add it to his inventory so that we don't lose track? Or do I need to track that separately?)

Yes, I can add a potion to Korba's inventory.

As Hew-wolf steps forward, he is able to smell the next chamber before he sees it. There is a pungent odor of death, but it is mixed with other smells. Sweet smells of herbs and spices... peering into the chamber, you realize what it is: it's an embalming room!
In the chamber there are two mummies side-by-side on the embalming table. The two mummies on the table appear to be extremely new. They have large frames which suggest they may be more of the missing orc tribesmen... meanwhile, two other mummies are in the process of painstakingly wrapping their new brethren. And overseeing the process is another half-spider abomination, also in an undead state like the first one you encountered outside the tomb...
