Please roll stats in this thread.

Character Concept: Returning home after loosing his memory (cause, he died). He is looking for his childhood friend who he hopes can help him.
Name: Durbin Class: Druid Race: Twas once was of human birth, but now is reborn
Could I get some more information regarding this character? I understand that as a Reborn, you don't have much of a backstory, but if you could try and write something about them it would increase your chances of getting in. There are a lot of awesome options to pick from, and I love reborn, so I want to give you a good chance.

Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.
May each word that I speak be backed by each of my teeth.
Backstory: A young scholar in the field of demonology, Jasper enjoyed summoning minor demons for fun. Unfortunately, in order to fund his studies, he had to turn to crime. When he was arrested, he managed to sneak a small grimoire into his cell at Fort Yentser. He summoned demons, but lost control of the portal. Instead of a small group of minor demons, he accidentally summoned a (surprisingly loyal) army.
Fort Yentser no longer exists.
Ally: the baker's son, Finn, who had been imprisoned for bread fraud and shared a cell with Jasper.
You will be starting at level 3, so a character that has summoned an army of demons in the past wouldn't really make sense, especially since demon summoning doesn't come online until you reach 3rd level spells. I like the concept, but I just don't think it makes sense in its current state. If you changed it to fit the level of the campaign, it would be a much easier pick.

I was thinking that he has been level 3 for a few years prior, just hasn't really done anything major enough to level up.

Fair enough, it was more of a rough draft anyway.

Jasper was a member of a secretive cult, led by a (>lvl 5) warlock, who hid their identity even to the cultists. One of the requirements to join the cult was that the potential initiates had to fake their deaths, assuming a new persona for outside of cult activities. When Jasper, the baker's son Finn, and a couple other cultists were imprisoned in Fort Yentser, the rest of the cult showed up to break them out, with the leader attempting to summon demons. The cult leader was knocked out as the portal to the Abyss opened, and demons swarmed out.
Question: do we start with anything special regarding equipment, and can we sell off unwanted starting gear for GP? If yes regarding selling unwanted equipment, what is the exchange rate (full gp value, half gp value, etc.)?

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?

Full GP for simple weapons, and light and medium armor, and equipment packs, but half GP for martial weapons, tools, and heavy and medium armor.

Backstory: Nemsy is no stranger to tragedy. Her life was always plain and peaceful until her town was attack by a band of rogue soldiers. They plundered the village and killed all who stood in their way. Her parents, defenders of their home perished in the assault leaving young Nemsy orphaned and traumatised. In the chaos that followed Nemsy managed to escape the burning village, guided by instinct and the shadows that whispered to her. Alone and afraid she stumbled upon a ancient shrine to a long forgotten deity of the shadow realms. Haunted by images of the past the shadows that once whispered to her became her allies granting her dark powers. Only when she was indebted to them did they claim a prize for the gifts they bestowed upon her, her service.

@Baalzeboop, regarding my ally could it be like a shadow not an actual person. That fits in with my backstory and background of being haunted by shadows that gave her power and help her.
A street urchin who he has taken under his wing and is trying to protect and train

Hmmm... I have an idea for who your Ally could be. It won't be a shadow, but it will be a supernatural and spooky entity.
