Syllen's Entangle goes up, but the Drider's dodge the majority of the vines, and one of Coriana's Blasts hit. One of Theldin's ray's bounces off the wall and hits the Drider in the back of the head, and Xanrym is able to get away and hide around the corner. Avery takes two swipes at the Drider, one hits.
Drider 1 sees Xanrym running away and climbs the wall next to it, dropping it's web and climbing up over everyone's head. Getting into position to shoot 3 Poison Bursts at Xanrym.

You all are up. Most of you are in melee with Drider 1, except for Avery and Xanrym, as it's over everyone's head. Drider 2 is still charmed. Xanrym will need to roll Concentration checks for any of the attacks that hit.
(OOC: @drumdigby - Based on the map, I guess Xanrym no longer has 3/4 cover from the drider. But shouldn't the drider still be attacking Xanrym at a disadvantage?
I'm not an expert on the 2024 rules, but since Xanrym successfully hid on his turn, I'd expect that an opponent in combat would need to take the Search to spot him him with a successful Perception check against his hide DC (29 in this case). Otherwise, they should treat him as invisible until he moves, speaks, or attacks.)
(OOC: With disadvantage, the three attack rolls become: 9, 9, and 16)
While Xanrym is expertly hidden, the drider knows about how far he went. It directs its poison bursts straight down the middle of the tunnel and toward the north and south walls. The last poison burst hits the wall just in front of him, and before it can splash on him, he finally moves, gesturing and calling out a spell to deflect the poison. Xanrym takes no damage, but he is no longer hidden from the drider.
Reaction: Cast spell (1/LR via Magic Initiate) Shield. Until the start of Xanrym's next turn, he has a +5 bonus to AC (that is, AC 21).
Theldrin tries to keep his nerve as the hideous Drow Spider abomination crawls along the tunnel ceiling above his head. His battle training holds as he sets his jaw and takes a breath, then fires a blast of glowing magical darts at the Drider.
Khessa gritted her teeth as she saw the Drider walk past her on the ceiling: "These aren't hunters who change their prey easily."
The blonde arcane warrior then took up her longest weapon, the Pike, and, holding it firmly in both hands, moved under the monster to impale it.
[[ OOC: Khessa uses her Movement to get within 10' of the Drider (I have no idea how high the tunnel is, but I'd be surprised if it were higher than that) and her Action to attack it with her Pike. ]]
Avery will close with the drider to get away from the web
(@Aaggie - the drider took its turn, and dismissed the web. If Avery wants to make his two attacks on his turn, the drider should be close enough for Avery to close distance and take an action.)

Oh of course. Here’s three more attack rolls, and yes, Avery may take an attack of opportunity.
